Étant orientée plein sud, la villa bénéficie d'un ensoleillement ininterrompu autour du jardin et de la piscine du soleil au coucher du soleil, ce qui est calme et unique pour toute propriété!
Il y a une grande véranda qui a une grande table pouvant accueillir 12 personnes pour manger et il y a aussi un coin salon détendu séparé pour profiter de la vue.
La villa est composée de 5 chambres doubles / lits jumeaux, toutes avec salle de bain attenante, 4 de style "pièces humides" et une avec baignoire. Les chambres sont inhabituellement spacieuses et trois d'entre elles ont amplement d'espace pour accueillir un lit d'appoint et en juin 2015, la climatisation a été installée dans toutes les chambres. Deux sont situés à l'étage avec un coin repas dans la cuisine et un grand salon avec des portes donnant sur une véranda. Les trois autres sont en bas et deux ont des portes donnant sur la piscine.
La piscine est de taille généreuse (9, 5 mx 4, 5 m) avec des marches romaines à l'extrémité peu profonde, ce qui la rend idéale pour les familles. Il peut également être chauffé pendant les mois les plus froids de l'année moyennant des frais supplémentaires si nécessaire.

We had a fantastic 10 day stay at Villa La Solana. The villa is beautiful and the views spectacular. Everyone loved the swimming pool and the evening bbq's. There were 10 of us, spanning three generations and including three young girls aged 5,3 and 15 months. There was plenty of shade and space inside for the girls to play, so it was the perfect villa for a relaxing family holiday and the beaches are a short drive away for those who wanted a change. The owner Jeremy was really helpful from the moment we booked and always responded promptly to any queries. We would highly recommend La Solana.

We were are group of 8 ladies. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the villa. Amazing views! We liked the veranda eating and relaxing area.
Plenty of equipment in the kitchen, everything was thought of. Bedrooms suited as because we asked for the beds to be made up as singles. It was just perfect and we had a fantastic week.
Just one little negative was that the bathrooms upstairs need refurbishing but perfectly adequate.
We would definitely book again!

The villa was extremely spacious and even better than the pictures. Plenty of space both inside and out. The views from the eating areas outside were fantastic.
We booked the villa mainly based on the pool area and gardens and were not disappointed. The pool was very clean and the gardens were pretty and well maintained. There were plenty of sun beds provided, as well as umbrellas which gave much needed shade.
The villa itself was extremely well equipped and the kitchen especially had everything we needed.
Communication with Jeremy, the host, was very efficient and helpful. Would definitely recommend this villa.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this villa. It was traditional and spanish and overwhelmingly lovely.
The eating areas outside were great and the pool was something else. It was a good size for a villa, it was deep, it was beautifully lit and very well maintained.
Any issues within the house were responded to really quickly and efficiently by the owner
I would highly recommend this property.
If I was to criticise anything it would be that the single beds were quite short. My sons are 6ft and 6ft 3inches and they were significantly too long for the beds which they found a little uncomfortable. Beds themselves are comfy it's purely the length. I am 5 ft6 inches and they were plenty long enough for me.
I wouldn't however let that put me off booking again.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the villa. The gardens and pool area are beautiful and even better than the photographs. The veranda is perfect for dining and relaxing on with spectacular views of mountains, valley and sea. The Villa is in a great location slightly out of town but only a 10 minute drive from the beachfront and centre of fuengirola.
James the owner quickly responded to any issues or questions we had which was much appreciated.

We all loved this villa for so many reasons
The pool was large enough to have a good swim and accommodate plenty of inflatable toys for the children. All 5 bedrooms were large and airy. As a party of 11 (6 adults & 5 children aged 3-8) the dining areas and chiiing areas were large and just perfect. Plenty of shaded areas to escape the peak sunshine
The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need
The views from the upper terrace were amazing
The villa is well positioned for a short drive to the beach or up to the beautiful town of Mijas
We would highly recommend the villa to families or groups of friends it definitely won’t disappoint.Jeremy the host was available to answer any questions very promptly. We would love to return in the future

We were 10 persons who lived in Villa La Solana for two weeks summer 2023. The villa is perfect for two or three families, as there are two separate sleeping areas and all rooms have en suite bathrooms. The villa is very well equiped, and an extra plus for pool towels included. It is a bit off grid, so you willl need a car for your stay.

We had a lovely stay at this villa. It’s has everything you need for a great villa holiday. The pool is a great size and has lots of sun beds and seats to relax in.
The rooms are all great size with en suite.
There is also a good quality table tennis table in the shade!
The highlight of the villa for me was the seating area on the veranda. Perfect for a morning cup of tea or an evening glass of wine.
The communication was great and the place is well kept.

Overall we had a great time, the villa was perfect for our party of 12. it was all family and friends celebrating a 50th birthday with ages from 5 to 58 - every one of us had a fantastic time and was one of our best holidays ever. There was very good communication from Jeremy the owner so the villa comes well recommended from us all. :)

We were 8 adults and 4 children and had a great time/week with ample space for all of us. We can especially recommend the terrace on the upper floor, where we spent a lot of time enjoying the beautiful view.

We are very pleased with Villa La Solana. The terrace was lovely for meals and relaxation. Fantastic view from sunrise to sunset. Plenty of space for us, 6 adults and 4 kids. Great pool with nice sun beds for sunbathing and areas with shade as well.

The property was all we expected. The decor in the villa was in good condition. The villa is very spacious and has a fantastic view from the terrace overlooking Fuengirola. The pool and the area around it is well maintained and during the day we lived by the pool for the week. Recommend this property.

This is a lovely property, really spacious, well maintained with a homely feel. All the rooms are extremely comfortable with en-suite bathrooms and great amenities.
We were a group of 10 friends and family and had a wonderful time catching up. The pool is perfect, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas.
All in all we had a really enjoyable stay,I would definitely recommend and would love to return.

The bedrooms are very clean and very comfortable, the veranda has never directly sun and it was there we spend our mornings and evenings, and the pool, we LOVED it. Thanks to the trees and parasol we had shadows if we wanted. The view was spectacular. I can highly recommended this wonderful villa,more fantastic than the pictures both inside and outdoors.Helen with family

Lovely and huge villa, big bedrooms and living space, as well as wonderful balcony with space to eat together and space yo relax. Pool was 30 degrees throughout our stay which was great for the kids. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, and close to some great restaurants in El Coto, who also deliver to the villa. Had a fantastic time and plan to return! Also, great communications with the owner Jeremy who was super helpful and responsive.

We have just returned from a week at La Solana. Our family holiday was to celebrate two 'round' birthdays and it was the perfect place for our family of 8 adults, 1 teenager and 2 children. Apart from two days at the beach, we spent our days in and around the pool. The villa and gardens were spacious enough for us all to have our own space, yet we gathered on the veranda in the evenings, with a glass of wine and a game of cardsenjoying the fantastic view over Fuengirola.Due to the size of our party, we decided not to bother with a hire car and relied on either taxis or the bus into Fuengirola. It is a 15 minute walk down to El Coto where there is a small supermarket, Pizzeria, Pharmacy, 2 reasonable restaurants (which do,takeaways) and the bus stop. The supermarket will order you a taxi back to the villa ! For shopping a hire car would be advantageous!La Solana is well equipped for a family holiday and we would certainly return and recommend.A wonderful week with lots of special memories.

Beautiful and well appointed villa with great views from the rear terrace stretching down to the sea. Spacious and comfortable with a great pool it was the perfect base for our family holiday. Although a car will be essential the villa is handily placed between the lively Fuengirola and the beautiful Mijas each with loads of restaurants and bars , both these towns have very efficient and reasonably priced taxi services to get you home if needed. Thank you Jeremy for a very enjoyable stay all round.

Our extended family,8 Adults and two children have just returned from a Fantastic week at Villa La Solana,The Villa was very homely, spacious and well equipped.Having the Sun all day meant we spent most of our time at the pool or on the first floor terrace, this also allowed us to relax in the evenings with superb views of Fuengirola.El Coto has three great restaurants. La Verona The Indian and the Pizzeria and has a supermarket for the essentials.The walk from the Villa takes 15 minutes downhill but would recommend a taxi back! costing 8 Euros per journey.As this was our first Villa holiday, Jeremy was very helpful giving us advice before our arrival.Would happily revisit in the future.Lora Kelly Glasgow
