Overall it was a really nice place. I didn't realize it was connected to the owners house by a wall but that could of been my own fault for not reading closely. Also climate control is in the main house and you have to ask for it to be turned on. Less then ideal but the townhouse was great for what we needed. Loved the in unit laundry and how roomy it was. Thanks for having us.

We had a great holiday with family. The house had everything we needed and more. The hosts were very accomodating. Our family had a great stay and the pool was a big plus. Thank you, Can't wait to stay again.

The most important thing to the kids (2.5, almost 5, and 7) was that we had a pool. Check. Close to Legoland and the Safari Park? Check. County park with playground basically across the street? Check It hit all the boxes, and Brett and Alison were just great and highly communicative. Our kids are already making us promise to go back next time. Our whole family slept in one room comfortably and our au pair had her own room. Easy for everyone.

Everything at this property was great. The home was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, and there was off-street parking close to the front door of the unit. The location was perfect for visiting North San Diego County attractions (Legoland, SeaLife Aquarium, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and Carlsbad beaches). We would not hesitate to stay here again.

It’s a home away from home. Place is very clean. Beds and couch are very comfy . Kitchen is well equipped. We were happy to eat home cooked meals. Quiet neighborhood, and close to grocery stores.

The backyard, private pool and patio is a great perk if weather is warm enough to enjoy. Brett & Allison were very friendly, accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this vacation home to any family visiting southern CA.

Good size property with a pool. Easy communication with the host. Great proximity to the beach. Listing should clarify this is a house share. While you have your own section of the house with all amenities, the host also occupies the home.

Very nice place with everything you need for a great holiday. Is in a great location for parks, zoo's, beaches etc, and feels like a very nice neighbourhood. Brett is a great host and will try to help you with anything you need.

The owners were great. Helped when needed. Didn't like that couldn't control the air. Definitely hot upstairs in bedrooms. Also was hard to grill without grill utensils. But had a great time and was so comfortable.

We were on a short vacation to Cali, this home was perfectly located for all that we wanted to do. The accomodations were great, and the pool, that was our favorite. The setting around it was nice, it was nice to come back to when we were done running around, we really appreciated it.

We had the pleasure of staying in the property for 3 weeks. Brett & Alison are great people and we could not of asked for a better place to stay. Everything was great. Beds were large and comfortable, shower spacious & powerful, modern kitchen with everything you would need, comfortable lounge area and a fantastic heated pool. This will become the new home away from home when we are in Southern California. If you are thinking of booking it, don’t delay and book it! You won’t regret it. We were looking for a nice place to stay with easy access to beaches. Totally fulfilled/exceeded expectations. Wonder park a couple blocks away with 4-5 miles of running trails. Owners lives in other half of the home and was very accommodating/friendly ( a little noise is tranmitted through dividing doors in living room, but not problematic for us - for all we know, we were the noisier side ;-)

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. The hosts were very helpful, and easily contacted to answer any questions. Home was well stocked and exactly as described. The pool and deck area were lovely, and the house backs up to a beautiful open space. We hope to be back!

We enjoyed our peaceful stay very much. Check-in was a breeze and we found everything clean and well-stocked. The beds were super comfortable and the living area cozy. The poolside deck was amazing for yoga and quiet relaxation. The hosts were fantastic as well! We highly recommend this for a couple or small family.

The property was clean (which is a must for me) and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for our family of 6. It is relatively close to Camp Pendleton, shopping, parks and the Oceanside pier. The backyard really is a beautiful oasis as stated in the description. It was too cool for us to use the pool but we used the grill and enjoyed our time on the deck just relaxing and shooting the breeze. We would recommend this property to anyone staying in the area. If we return to Oceanside, we would love to stay here again. Brett was quick to respond anytime we needed something. We definitely appreciated his attentiveness.

Spending spring break in Oceanside was a true delight and we completely enjoyed the sunshine. This rental is at the top of my rental experience with VRBO. The place was clean, had very comfy furniture, the decor was great and the pool a huge bonus for our family. We hope to be back next year.

Our family had a great time at Brett & Allison’s place. We had the perfect amount of space and we really enjoyed Oceanside. Brett suggested Beach Break Cafe for breakfast and we loved it so much we went twice. It was a bit of a colder week so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool like we had hoped but we did borrow their available beach chairs and boogie boards so the kids could run around the beach for a little bit. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and it was a nice change of scenery from cold Missouri.

We spent 3 nights for attending a wedding. The house was in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Brett was very approachable with any questions, the kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable like home. Very close to the beach. It was truly home away from home.

My roommates and I stayed at the property for a long weekend to ring in 2021 with a change of scenery. The unit is attached to the main house, but has its own private entrance and Brett and Allison give guests use of the patio and pool, so it feels like your own place. The space was perfect for our relaxing getaway with plenty of room for 3 adults to lounge. We also made use of the kitchen, which came well-equipped with all the basic tools and utensils you would need. Additionally, the property is conveniently close to stores, parks, trails and beaches if you feel like venturing out for food/drink supplies or outdoor activities. Definitely recommend renting this place if you are looking for a spot to unwind in SoCal!

Brett is a very responsive, friendly and accommodating host. The place was spotless. Beds and furniture are all comfortable and don't feel like the typical Ikea-grade pieces. Decor is tasteful ocean theme. Kitchen is so clean and all appliances work perfectly. And the pool---the POOL--just beautiful. The outdoor space is such a treasure, we grilled and had a couple friends over for dinner on the deck, it was fabulous! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Stores are a very short drive away. There's a big park with hiking trails, open space and a small lake with geese right down the road. A perfect space to relax and enjoy north county! I stayed with my 3 teenage sons who were still 'remote learning' during the week--just a bit further remote for the week. WiFi was a little tricky at first, but we were all able to attend classes and work remotely all at the same time. Thank you, Brett, for a wonderful stay!

We had a relaxing stay at Brett's place. Quiet, clean and the apartment had all the amenities we need. We especially loved using the grill in the evenings. -
