One of the best places we have ever stayed. Beautiful rooms, very spacious and very nice decorated! A big garden with a big )almost eco) swimmingpool. Very well located, just 5 minutes from the citycenter by car. Breakfast was amazing, with homemade jam and homemade cake. We only stayes her for 2 nights, much to short! Also a very good place for families! Patricia and Ricardo are very warm personalities, openminded, courteous, easygoing and very enthusiastic, they do everything to make you feel at home and comfortable, beautiful people!

The hosts were very nice and welcoming, they made an excellent breakfast and were helping us with everything we needed. Also the house is great, we loved to sit outside at the pool and get to know new people. There are nice restaurants around and the area of Sintra is definitely worth to visit. Also the perfect stay if you plan a day trip to Lisbon. A big thank you to our hosts! :)

Absolutely beautiful location with a very nice and comfortable room. Breakfast is amazing with homemade and local products. Patricia and Ricardo are absolutely lovely and they give you great tips about what to do in the area, restaurants and so!

Patricia and Ricardo are lovely hosts and their place is another jewel in Sintra. We had a great time at their place. Patricia and Ricardo are very thoughtful with their hosts and you can see and find that in a lot of nice details. We definitely also recommend the pool, even in colder periods 😃.

Overall, our stay was good. We stayed at Quinta do Pé Descalço only for 2 nights and most of the time we were out visiting other places (coming back only for sleep and breakfast). Hosts are nice and helpful, their Quinta is big and clean. Breakfast is basic, but good (no hot food choices, just snacks)

We put 8 because for us there were not enough of privacy (there are always people around and it feels like you are in a camp). We prefer more private places without a need to interact with people (apartments, hotels, etc). But still, it was a good experience. + no air conditioner, which could be helpful when it gets hot at night (but there is a blower)

Everything! From the warm welcome from Patricia, to the beautifully decorated room and house, great breakfast (with vegan options if necessary) and all the necessary facilities to feel at home away from home. Definitely worth coming back and good value for my money.

The host are super nice people. The place is stunning and the surrounding are magnificent ! The room was clean and charming, the house is typical and the garden is beautiful. Patricia made us every morning a home made delicious breakfast.

This property is situated in a beautiful & peaceful setting surrounded by trees & wildlife but is also close to Sintra centre. There is also a good sized swimming pool in the lovely well kept garden. The owners were very welcoming & extremely helpful.

Everything - an amazing setting in the hills above Sintra and Patricia and Ricardo who are the perfect hosts and speak good English.

there was nothing not to like unless you don't like walking on steep hills for short distances to the nearest restaurants

My family and I spent 4 wonderful days at in this beautiful, peaceful and charming location. Ricardo and Patricia are wonderful, caring and attentive hosts who provide a excellent breakfast as well fantastic advice on where to eat and visit both locally and on our journey to the algarve. They even managed to prepare our rooms early so that we could rest after our overnight flight and carefully follow covid best practices. We had two bedrooms with a common bathroom which was great for a family of four.

Patricia, the host is very friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast buffet is rich and very various, room lage and perfectly tide but overall the best thing of all is the place itself. The quinta is very close to the main Sintra highlights but on the same manner is an oase of tranquillity. Highly recommended.

Patricia is a nice host and welcomed us with time and care. The location is stunning and super quite - perfect place to relax and regaining energy. The breakfast was great and we really enjoyed every bit of it. There are a bunch of tasty restaurants in the village and Patricia is offering a welcome booklet, which contains a broad range of sights, beaches and activities in the area - a real plus and makes your stay more than comfortable.

A little thing to improve: the warm water in the shower wasn’t 100% stable all the time - that wakes you up faster than expected :D

Patricia is a very nice and flexible host who made our stay like a home experience. Great breakfast and pool. The interior design of rooms and the place in general is exclusive, stylish and still cozy. I could do yoga in the garden and internet was good for work too. Lovely area with amazing restaurants and outstanding nature / sights!

This place is absolutely amazing. Beautiful. Quiet. And the owners are lovely and relaxed people who make you feel at home right away. A delicious breakfast is served to start your day. When back in Sintra, I will definitely stay there again. It's a true gem.

Patricia and Ricardo are very friendly and welcoming, and did everything they could to make sure we had a nice stay. They gave good recommendations and advice for visits, beaches, restaurants, etc. The breakfast was all we needed. The quinta is a beautiful and relaxing space with a nice swimming pool and scenery and very well located to visit Sintra, the castles and beaches.

The room was basic but all we needed after all (except maybe for airconditioning, as the weather was extremely hot during our stay).

The property is beautiful and has character. There are two large houses in colonial style, in which the apartments fit. The room and bathroom were definitely very spacious. The guests have use of two nice living rooms. All is very well decorated purposefully in a rustic style that matches the building. There is a swimming pool that we did not get to use due to the winter. We also chose the property because it has plenty of private parking space. Guests should be warned that this property is more suitable if you are travelling by your own car rather than public transport.
