The apartment was perfect in every way from the location to the tasteful furnishings to the responsive staff. The house manager was very informative about sites to make sure to see and restaurants in the neighbourhood.

We arrived on May, 1st, which is the holiday in Italy. We did not know that. We spend 2.5 hours to find parking. In similar situation it is better to reserve parking ahead. The difference between reserved parking and regular one is 5 euro per day.

I am disappointed to share my recent experience at this apartment. The photos I've attached to this review are a visual representation of the issue that impacted my stay. The kitchen wasn't working correctly, and I spent nearly four hours troubleshooting the issue with the owner's support, trying everything I could to fix it. Eventually, we both agreed that it was a kitchen issue, and I was unable to cook my meals as planned. The owner promised to reimburse me for one night's stay, but unfortunately, this never happened. I find it concerning that the host would decline their responsibilities in this way, and I would not trust them in case of any future issues. When I contacted booking the owner invented a different story in order to avoid what he agreed with me. I ADVISE FUTURE GUESTS TO CONTACT BOOKING IMMEDIATELY AND DOCUMENT ANY ISSUES THEY ENCOUNTER DURING THEIR STAY HERE. I was understanding that sometimes things can break or stop working, but the host's attitude in promising me a reimbursement and then changing their story with Booking makes them an unreliable and shady host. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here. The apartment is even cute, but the support given to provide the services you booked is terrible. PS. If you want to rent this place without a kitchen just do it clearly in the announcement if it doesn't work, address it as a grown-up person and fix it for the next time. Changing the story to earn 1 night is pathetic and childish, if you think your guests book your apartment to be electricians you are in the wrong business.

it’s a jewel, perfectly appointed, a great location for exploring Ortigia, quiet, absolutely lovely in every respect.

Ortigia suite was beautiful, it has all you need and more, very clean, incredible location and Danilo couldn’t be more helpful! we truly enjoyed our stay cant recommend it more!

The location was great, was received a door entry code which was easy. The apartment was really nice and spacious, good sized fridge, they left 2 big bottles of water for us too which was nice! The host was responsive and provided good recommendations for restaurants. It was quiet at night.

There are quite steep stairs to go up to the apartment - just a word of warning if you have a heavy suitcase. The apartment was nice and I read excellent reviews about the comfort of the bed, my husband and I found it to be extremely uncomfortable! There were deep dents on both sides of the mattress from where people had slept and it was so bad, we didn't sleep well at all. The shower was very dirty, almost looked like mould was growing and it smelt awful! We had to shower with the door open as the smell was just so unbearable. The tap on the bidet was also dirty so a deeper clean was definitely needed.

In the middle of Ortigia the property is central and convenient. It is very private, spacious and has everything we needed for a few nights. It’s also tastefully decorated and very relaxing to be in, especially with the terrace where you can relax in the evening (or morning!). Danilo is very accommodating and great at communications.

The decor was modern and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, which is so important when you’re not as young as you think you are! It was a fantastic location, everything you needed for a wonderful stay in Ortigia.

Apartment was modern, light, in the middle of the city center and very comfortable. roof terrace is very nice.

Shower boiler works on gas and unfortunately ran empty during our stay so had to fix it myself with changing gas tanks with provided information. Not a big deal, but you’ll have to do it.

super nice apartment with ideal location in Ortigia island. apartment is equipped with all you need to be comfortable. very comfortable bed as well. reactivity and availability of the host is also a strong point. highly recommend !

The suite was absolutely wonderful and great location. Pamphlet was provided to help with appliances and water heater. Staff was very responsive to questions and checked on us during our stay.

Everything!!! :) The apartment is real cosy and situated at a top location in the heart of Ortigia! The terrace at the top is great for having a drink or a morning coffee. The kitchen is very well equipped. The mattress is very comfortable. Danilo is a super host who answered all our questions and helped a lot!! We had water and more than enough coffee left for us as complement :) We had a great time and would definitely come back! :)

Only note that hot water would suddenly stop and turn into cold, but you just have to restart and wait for a while until it comes back :)

Nice apartment overall, in a great spot of Ortigia - quiet street but close to everything. Fantastic bar/pasticceria just around the corner at the end of the street - one not to be missed.

Great location in the pedestrian zone. Parking is challenging, but we managed to find a parking spot in Syracuse, either at the port or in one of the streets. The apartment is very comfortable and the roof terrace is outstanding. Danilo provided many recommendations on restaurants, bars, parking etc. He was very quick in replying. Great host. We had a very nice stay. Try restaurant Tri Marchi, which is only a stone's throw away from the flat.

The pillows were too thick, The green (emergency?) light in both rooms was too glare, not very nice to sleep with. Don't use parking Talete.. I have never seen such a dirty, awful parking. However, this is not the host's responsability.

Location is unbeatable, modern yet cheap interior.

Mold in the shower, light everywhere making it hard to sleep, expectation to change gas tanks and very noisy water pump cost a lot of sleep
