great property it was an ideal layout for us, and everything was there that you needed.

Ideal for a family weekend to celebrate a special occasion. In my case a 70th birthday. A quiet rural location but with the added attractions of the Doddington Estate.

On arrival there was a bottle of wine, some bread and eggs which I thought was a lovely touch. The beds were very comfortable and it was very clean.

There were wobbly paving slabs outside on the patio area. I feel and injured my wrist quite badly. I did report this in the accident book when I left, but I’ve had no response.

Problem unlocking door

The Brewhouse has character; old charm with modern facilities. Twelve of us spent a long weekend there and we were very content relaxing in the house and enjoying the facilities of Doddington Hall. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen/dining area, cooking meals, drinking and having a great time. We retired to the lounge on an evening and event lit a fire. Perfect for a family gathering. The house was clean and warm, the beds were comfortable, and there is plenty of parking close to the house. There is an excellent farm shop a few minutes walk away, along with a cafe/restaurant, both very popular. We all took advantage of the complementary tour of the Hall which was fascinating. It was a great house and I would love to return.

A point to note rather than dislike - there is only one shower cubicle in the four bathrooms. Some baths had a hand-held shower. The fridge is fairly small for a party of 12. A drinks fridge would have been appreciated!
