I was thoroughly impressed. Apartment was exactly as listed. I was particularly impressed with the owners attention to details. All the basic necessities were included including sanitizers, mosquitoe spray, emergency numbers and listing clearly visible, paper towels, toilet paper, even makeup wipes for the ladies. A trove of clean linens available to your disposal. The bedroom was exquisitely decorated with spacious storage and closets. The king size bed is was comfortable for your needs. A beautiful patio option allowed additional space for entertaining or just relaxing. The view overlooks the pool and there are books available for those who may want to indulge in a little reading. A house information booklet, provided details regarding surrounding area restaurants, taxi sevices, hospital care and most importantly WiFI password. If you are looking for an extended stay or a quick weekend getaway, this is the perfect setting. Located in a gated community you have the options for using the pool, taking walks along the marina which was calming and just breathtakingly beautiful or taking a short walk across the street to use the beach area. I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to be close in town but in a safe secured setting. While it is a 1 bedroom there is an additional bed that would be sufficient for a third party or child. My only issue and very minor obsevation was the lack of a wall plug in the bathroom. Otherwise 9.8/10!

My husband and I spent our birthdays at the property and we absolutely loved the unit and the property. The home was clean and inviting. The bed and linens were practically new! Ms Patricia had beverages and light snacks that came in super handy. I will consider this property in the future. Thank you for every single thing. She was also very responsive and checked in with me almost daily. Thank you for that too.

This place is absolutely awesome. It satisfied all our needs and more. My finace enjoyed the pool immensely and in his opinion sitting at the edge of the ocean overlooking the yacht club was soul soothing. Especially at night. Top notch in regard to cleanliness, location and accessibility to everything that you may need and so very peaceful.

Our stay was so incredibly restful and amazing as "Idle Time on the Bay" was everything it promised to be! Patricia was the perfect host - charming, warm and extremely helpful in every way. She stayed in touch to ensure all was well without being intrusive. The apartment was spotless and beautifully appointed as Patricia has a deorative flair and eye for detail ensuring that all the amenities we needed were at hand. The complex is well maintained with gorgeous grounds - fruit trees, orchids, immaculately manicured lawns. We enjoyed our morning cup in the sun room overlooking the pool, the mango trees and hummingbirds. It was so cool to have the marina on one end where we enjoyed a stroll and the private beach only a minute away on the other side across from the property. The complex and the area are quiet and secure and in close proximity to the best restaurants and shopping. We'll definitely be back! Thanks for taking care of us, Patricia! This place exceeded my expectations. I was just looking for a cozy stay close to the resort my friend was having her wedding so I picked this little condo. It had EVERYTHING we needed and honestly felt like home. Ms. Patricia was very pleasant and communicative. The place was super cleaned and had a refreshing scent upon walking in. I slept like a baby in the queen/king sized bed. My Buddy slept on the little day bed in the living area and barely wanted to get up. The pool was nice and chill. It’s very quiet and peaceful here and I can’t wait to visit again. It’s in a gated community so it felt very safe. We had no problem getting a taxi to get around, just walked up to the front gate and asked the guard. We dined right across the walking path at the Marina club and the food was amazing. Very grateful to have found this gem!

This property looks exactly as advertised, it is fully stocked with everything needed for your stay with complimentary coffee, water, and snacks. The check in process was simple and communication with host is fast and efficient. The place is beyond clean....it's immaculate. The king size bed is ultra comfortable and the grounds are kept nicely. Location is central to everything. Patricia is a wonderful host with great energy and a kind spirit. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to unwind and enjoy Jamaica.

No problem landlord were very helpful and nice, I will come again and the taxi driver Leroy very friendly he told me a lot about Jamaica and show me some nice places to visit when my wife and I come again . The property is within 10 mins walk to the beach and very short ride to restaurants and the airport

Well appointed unit in a comfortable and quiet development on the sea. Short drive to the heart of Montego Bay. Everything was as it should be and the welcome drinks and snacks were most appreciated. Would stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location felt like I was home. I walked everyday and bought a coconut everyday and enjoyed the hot sun on my face every morning. Nice clean apartment!

Both me and my partner had a wonderful stay here at ‘idle time on the bay’ (sea wind)— pictures are exact. The place has everything you may need including 24 hr security. We felt safe the entire stay. Ms Patricia, (property manager) is a very nice person. She checked in with us periodically to make sure we had all we needed. I would stay here again for sure jt

Our stay at Idle Time on the Bay was excellent. It was pristinely clean, nice space, great location (10-15 minutes from town & airport), and we felt very safe. There were so many thoughtful touches around the home as well- including access to a private beach.The AC kept us very cool & we loved how the home was energy efficient! There was nothing that we needed while we were there. We felt so very well taken care of! We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this place for your stay in Montego Bay. I wanted to relax more than be out on this trip and Patricia’s place was extremely comfortable, quiet, and safe. This place has everything you need. Patricia gave me plenty of ideas of things to do, and I especially loved the notebook with all information on things nearby, apartment info, and emergency info. The apartment was spotless and the beach was less than ten minutes away and very peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

Having enjoyed the most wonderful two weeks at this beautifully appointed apartment in September 2020, it was with great pleasure that we returned for another relaxing fortnight in May/June 2021. The idyllic beach opposite the property reopened during our most recent stay, which was a marvellous surprise.

One could not ask for more. This is a beautiful property in an exclusive tourist area in a secluded complex. The yacht club next door (accessed by a private door) is ideal for all meals and and drinks on the water. Pat is a first class star. Enjoy!

We have been vacationing in resorts and renting condos for over 20 years now. This is by far one of our favorite places to come to now. Its the whole package. Beautiful and well maintained condo, the best owner and hostess a person can ask for. Great location. Friendly workers on the property and truly wonderful owners and other renters. The complex is safe, secure and has a few restaurants close by to dine in. We spent many days walking the area and felt very safe. Our owner Patricia was there to greet us and say goodbye. She dropped in many times with fresh fruit for us and any baking equipment i was short on as i am gluten free and needed a few different utensils. She went above and beyond and i have never felt so looked after. This whole vacation flew past us we enjoyed it so much. We were here for 5 weeks and will be back for 2 months next year. If your looking for a nice laid back quiet atmosphere this is the place. Thank you Patricia for making our stay one to remember forever. You have become not only a hostess but a true friend. We were in Jamaica for personal reasons and stayed a total of 3 nights with only one full day at the property. It was quiet and calm. We watched the cruise ship and boats, and cooked breakfast in the nice kitchen. Great place, I would recommend.

Our first time staying here and it was well above our expectations. Patricia made us feel so welcome. The apartment is gorgeous. We have been to Jamaica many times and wanted to try something a little different than the all inclusive resorts. This did not disappoint. Our driver, Brenton stopped for us to get groceries on our way to the apartment. Access to the Hard Rock beach is a plus. And the Montego Bay Yacht Club is a nice place to go to as well. Of course just hanging out at the pool was peaceful and relaxing too. Patricia is a real sweetheart and will be there to make sure things are are going well. Can not say enough good about this place and its owner!

Patricia is a great hostess. She arranged our transportation from the airport with Brenton. He even stopped at the grocery store so that we wouldn’t have to go back later. She met with us at the unit and explained everything we needed to know. Everything you see in the pictures is what you get. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

My wife and I rented this apartment for 1 week over new years 2019. It was a fantastic experience and Patricia was an amazing host. The apartment itself is located inside a lovely secure condominium complex just across from the Hard Rock hotel and next to the yacht club. Inside the apartment is very cozy and stocked with every amenity you would expect from a nice self catering flat. Throughout the duration of our stay Patricia was very attentive and really helped solve any little issue we may of had. Infact one morning she surprised us with fresh passion fruit juice after we had remarked earlier in our stay that we couldn't find it locally which was super appreciated! Anyhow, can't say enough good things about the quality of the apartment and the wonderful Jamaican hospitality we experienced. Would highly recommend the apartment to anyone who are looking for a lovely, quiet, secure and affordable self catering apartment in Montego Bay.

The home looks just like the pictures. Patricia is welcoming and friendly. She answered any questions that I had (before and during my stay) promptly and thoroughly. The apartment is on the bay - watching the cruise ships come in is fun - and you can walk across the street to the public beach. The apartment complex pool is clean and pretty. Plenty of places to lay around and grab sun and read. I hired a driver (Gregory from Native Tours) who took me to Negril (about an hour away) and showed me all the amenities nearby. Fontana Drug, Progressive grocery store, Cafe Blue...you've got to try a Juici Pattie. I'll be back for sure. Thanks, Patricia, for sharing Jamaica with me!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and Patricia was very welcoming and had good resources and ideas to help us enjoy our visit to Jamaica. We particularly liked the large pool which was empty most days when we used it. The apartment was safe and quiet and we liked that we could walk to the Hard Rock Café and the Yacht Club for meals. We booked excursions through the Sunscape Resort across the road and this worked out really well. You need a car to get groceries or shop or could take a taxi which were plentiful around the area. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for a relaxing visit to Jamaica.
