We absolutely loved our stay at Hen House and would definitely stay there again. The property was very clean and had everything we needed and more. Every little thing was thought of. If you had forgotten something to take you could guarantee it was already there. The bed was extremely comfortable,shower perfect temperature and great mirror in the bathroom to do my make up,normally that is always a problem. The seats outside were so lovely and quaint and skies at night were beautiful for seeing stars,was the perfect location. Great location and the host was very friendly and informative. Good for dog walking or going to the beach. Loads to do nearby and well worth a walk through the woods.

My kids will say the wifi. But if you want a relaxing break leave the phone and ipad at home. there are not any negatives.

The location was great - really quiet, and private. The Hen House was ideal for our needs. Only concern was the kitchen sink - my husband kept hitting his head, as it the sink is so low! :-)

I found the space really well organised and comfortable. There was a TV, stove tops, mini-fridge, microwave, sink, good size bathroom, decent comfortable beds (even the sofa bed was comfy). It just felt like a ‘home from home’ with all the amenities you would need. It was very clean and I loved the sound of the birds and the private woodland we could walk around just a few minutes from the property. It was private too which is nice. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive to messages.

Honestly, I’m struggling to think of something. Nothing important could be improved, only suggestion would be slightly stronger wifi to watch movies on rainy days would have been perfect but it was good enough for our purposes.

Wonderfully tranquil, very nice decor and loads of woodland to walk around. The generous offer to pick our own fruit and veg was greatly appreciated. Very comfortable bed. A lovely place to get away from everything.

Other than having teething problems with the oven, nothing.
