I’m sure the property was lovely inside, and the 1 hour slot for breakfast ie 8-9 , stated only after booking would have been splendid. But I didn’t get to see it and have it as I couldn’t find the place in the dark with poorly text directions. I had to book another hotel at 10pm the Travel lodge which actually was really nice, had I not booked that I would have had to sleep in the car. The help line was awful and still three days after I’ve not received an apology for the wrong directions sent via text.

Locating the property was to say the least almost impossible in the dark after hours, it took me 50 min to find the front door which is locked and after several calls and no communication I had to book another hotel. You have to locate the car park entrance via a dodgy map and one way systems and enter the property from the car park that is some way from the property itself. I’ve received no apologies just text excuses. Basically don’t book and arrive late coz you simply will not fine it and it’s not manned, also breakfast is only. Between 8 and 9. I had to be out at before 8, so wouldn’t have had that either, but your not told till you book it.

It was so hard to find.

Central location but quiet road. Comfortable lounges to sit in. Roomy bedroom. Everything very clean, stylish and comfortable.

There are no staff. Confusing entry from front needs you to enter and exit one building to enter another, so two entry codes needed. I had continental breakfast, the granola/yoghurt/berry compote was very small, served in small jam jar with teaspoon so difficult to eat and not enough. Croissant was good though.

Beautiful building with a feeling of being in someone’s private home. Lovely sitting rooms and huge bedroom. Delicious breakfast. Great location

Soonish mattress could be changed. At the moment it has a foam pad over the old mattress. Shower mixer also not working very well

Excellent location, beautiful area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Option to have breakfast in my bedroom or in the dining room.

Bed was not comfortable and it tilted back slightly so my head was lower than my feet (assume due to uneven, old floors). No shower - just a tub.

Beautiful spacious listed town house.. Lovely large bedroom.. Friendly helpful staff. Very central position for all Chichester has to offer.
