I enjoyed the company of the hosts and other guests in the 450 years old cottage laying in nice rural surroundings.
The guest cooked us a restaurant quality last supper. Thank you, Russel! And thank you Guy for loveley breakfasts.
The water tap in the bathroom was not customized bathrooms, but kitchen.

A support rail to use while showering would be helpful

Out of the way, but easy to find little gem.
I've noticed a few reviews saying it's hard to find, but if you use What3words ///sharpness.removed.civil it brings you straight to the door.
Room is clean and tidy, and warm enough. Meals are great. Hospitality is fantastic!
Would I stay again? I've already booked!

The whole experience was amazing. If you are looking for a frilly B&B, this is not for you. Down to earth, welcoming, great food, conversation and fun in a lovely location. The wine flowed!

Guy & Freddie were excellent hosts. Their dog Winston is lots of fun as well. We had a brilliant home cooked chicken curry with them & other guests staying that night. Food & company was great. Breakfast the next day was brilliant as well. We left well rested & fed. Thanks!

I purposely picked this property because of its quiet location and previous reviews.
Run by father and son respectively, Guy and Freddy, both make you feel exceedingly welcome.
They’re joined by the family dog Winston who makes a total fuss of you and what more do you need.
Well the icing on the cake was our smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast topped with caviar for breakfast.
What’s not to like?
it’s quirkiness

lovely home feeling; very welcoming host; offer refreshments on arrival and very easy to chat with.
the bedroom could have done with a hoover - dust was very thick. bathroom wash basin tap in need of repair and very low pressure for hot water.

Guy is a wonderful host. Considerate, helpful, easy going. He was keen for us to have a great break.
Wonderful shower, comfy bed, big towels. Good pubs and food nearby.
We were ok with the cobwebs as it suited the age and quirkiness of the house. It certainly didn’t detract from our stay and we hope to come again.

Guy was an excellent host and we had a fantastic stay. He was incredibly welcoming, warm and accommodating! There was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and it we were made to feel as though we were staying at a friend’s place.
It was in a lovely location and Guy’s instructions were very clear. We were visiting because we were attending a wedding at High Billinghurst Farm and it was the perfect location as it was a short drive away.
We went to the local pub to get a quick bite to eat and were greeted by the lovely staff and locals. It was so friendly there - we ended up sitting around chatting with the locals at the end of the evening and they also remarked on how great Guy was!
The stay was incredible value for money and I highly recommend it - hopefully, we will get back to visit in the future.
Thank you so much!

A charming old and quirky B&B, very quiet and peaceful surroundings and the owner (Guy) is a lovely chap, very helpful and accommodating. We had a lovely time there, we enjoyed his patronage and company of his dog (Winston), the cooked breakfasts, pancakes and home made bread were lovely.
The accommodation is simple, its not all mod cons and it is a shared bathroom but that's what you get with this style of accommodation.
It is a very old house, the walls aren't straight, the floors are slanted, low ceiling, etc but that's what gives its charm and appeal.
Not much to complain about, would have like more sunshine but that's no fault of the host 😉

Lovely and quiet, quirky, quaint farmhouse. Lovely welcome from Freddie and Guy the host went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our 2 night stay.
Cooked breakfast is a must as was absolutely beautiful.
Value for money if ever there was.
Thanks so much.
It’s a 1550 property with all mod cons and loads of character. May not be to everyone’s taste but suited us just fine
