The only reason why I wouldn’t give this place a full five stars is some minor inconveniences of having to keep up on spider web season. They collect rapidly! Also make sure you have back up toiletries because there is a very small supply left for you.

Beautiful property, with lots of comfortable sleeping room, even had bonus rollaways and fold out couches. Fully stocked to meet all your needs. Beautiful landscape and lake views. If you are bringing a boat, make arrangements before your arrival for available docks and storage. Some of the marinas policies have changed

We were 7 grown men and spent most of our time on the outside decks. The decks were scary in some places, kind of weak, railings were loose and weal whole thing (deck) needed to be power washed and painted and structurally repaired. The downstairs master bedroom bathroom smelled of sewer and could not get any hot water to the sink, floor was covering was buckling from moisture. landscaping and interior decorating was non existent. Whole place needs a lot of work

I understand it is lake property so will be like cabin, but outside of the house needs some power washing, fixes and some landscaping. If you are going to stay here, pack everything from home. I understand house is aged, but regular maintenance should be done, it seems, house has been ignored.

Nice and big house except the parking lot

Wonderfully spacious, comfortable home with amazing views of Lake Texoma. It was just perfect for our family’s stay in Texas.

Rented this for 12 adults as it advertises to sleep 15. Saw there were bunk beds in 2 rooms, no big deal we would make it work. Bringing our boats (2) for the lake of course. Listing says good parking. When we arrive the community roads were very steep and windy. The driveway is so steep you could not pull a truck in without damaging vehicle. Nowhere to park a single boat. The “2 car garage” is only large enough for a single small car. Then we get the check in email and it says no parking on the street. Go to the boat ramp, it only has enough parking for 3-4 cars - it stayed full. So we had to park at highport and ride back. In the 4-5 hrs it was parked before we were able to move, the neighbors who live there had already complained to the prop. manager who contacted us. Residents there are not friendly. The porch on the home is very damaged and unstable. Boards are rotted. Inside the home it wasn’t clean. Decorations were literally falling off the walls. None of the dishes we used were clean. The living room furniture was not as pictured - completely different, no pull out couches. The bunk beds in 1 room were NOT the same as pictured, these were only big enough for children and they were triple bunks. The shower was disgusting in that room. One of the master bedrooms mattresses was so un-level & worn out it was horrible. Also the other bedroom with a bunk in it was not originally a room. They added it on - as if it was part of the porch. It had a portable air conditioner inside it. And the wall between it and the master was still glass doors like the rest inside the house. They had curtains up to block view from room to the master, but if we moved them on our side we could see who was inside that room. Luckily our group was only 10 adults staying though it would have been much worse if we actually had 14 show up. 4 adults had to sleep in bunk beds and the other couple slept on the children’s mattresses on the floor rather than keeping them inside the triple bunk beds. It appeared as if a cleaning crew hadn’t been to the home in months or ever. There was even dirty paper towels on the shelf and roach/ant spray sitting on the counter when we arrived. We would not stay here again. We hope this review is more helpful than the property description that is not accurate. Don’t book this if you have adults. It would only be decent for a family with SMALL children in the rooms. Hopefully they will change some things and update this property.

Love this neighborhood! Easy access to lake. Nice view of lake. Some updates needed but not necessary for us to enjoy the company we were with and the atmosphere we had. Also update to website is needed for the bunk room. The picture shows two double bunks with trundle but it is actually two triple bunks. Overall great experience.

We planned a business retreat for 15 adult women (40 yo and older). 10 of the 15 beds were bunk beds. 2 triple layer bunks (sleeps six) and a double size bunk (sleeps 4). The triple layer bunks are NOT easy or comfortable for older adults. when I inquired about these (because they were NOT what was pictured) I was told this was an upgrade. Small kids would love them but it is not a pleasant arrangement for any adult. The room with the double size bunks had significant leaking from the ceiling during the rain. All of our stuff got wet. I was concerned about how well the ceiling would hold as it had been attempted to be patched but was not a finished job. We were not able to sleep in that room because it rained all night so we had to sleep on the couch. To look back at the pictures of what we thought we were getting vs what we actually got, we were VERY disappointed. The property was misrepresented. The porches were all significantly weathered, rotted, moldy and warped. The house needs a lot of TLC and was presented as a luxury home. The driveway is so very steep that you can’t park in it. There is a small parking area to the side and one space in a garage but for older adults the slope of the property was difficult. We had women in their 70s & 80s. The property manager was very responsive and did offer some solutions to the leaking ceiling issue. I appreciate his efforts to work with us and believe he was fair in his compensation. However, I do not recommend this property if you have a group of adults looking for a comfortable, relaxing get away.

Positives about the place: -location is in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. -house is about 2 blocks walk from the lake. The walk to the lake is on a paved road leads to a boat docking area. -the house is spacious, if you have a big family, the place has a lot of room for the kids to play and for the adults to hang out. -the location is not far from bigger cities such as Plano and Frisco (a little over an hour away) -the owners are welcoming and respond quickly Improvements or not so great: -the driveway up to the house is very steep! -there's a lot of cobwebs around the patio area -the floors in the house are not cleaned very well at all, the kids took off their shoes and ran around for 30 or so minutes and their feet were caked in dust and the bottom of their feet were black -shower heads in all the bathrooms are leaky -shower doors in all the bathrooms were not clean, you can see residue -the bathtub in the main bathroom on the main floor is chipped The biggest issue and as well as being hazardous is the shower stall door in the room with the 3 tier bunkbeds became loose and fell and landed on the toe of my 5 year old nephew. He obviously was bleeding from it - but thankfully he didn't require further medical attention. The owner apologized for the mishaps and said they would work with their cleaners and maintenance folks.

The house is AMAZING! It was cozy with the best views from the upstairs master balcony! The house was the perfect size for our girls trip! The owners were amazing at communicating with us. Would highly recommend for medium gatherings and spending a quiet laid back time together with friends and family. The only drawback for us was that it’s in a neighborhood with very watchful neighbors (we were called on the first 15 min we were there bc one of our cars parked in someone’s spot). It has very limited parking so if like us, you have guests coming from several different directions (and you can’t carpool), you need to make some kind of plans to not have too many vehicles (3-4 is limit). A couple cleaning concerns (nothing major) but owner is very responsive snd is addressing it. TY to the owners for letting us use your beautiful property!

This property is all about the view. Simply fantastic to sit up there on the top porch and relax. The whole family really had a good time.

The property was poorly maintained, the decks were not clean , Cobb Webbs were around the house everywhere . The inside of the house was equally dirty - the bedsheets were not clean , there were no hand washing soap , the inside of the floor was not clean , overall very dusty . We are never going back here again !

The house is located in a great location with stunning views. It does need a bit TLC. I.e. in one of the bathrooms only had one shower door installed instead of two so one can not avoid having water run all over the floors. There were no clothing hangers in the upstairs Master bedroom. The outside patio on the living room level is full with spiderwebs, so it is not very appealing to sit out there. We were enjoying the upstairs deck which had a great view.The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Thanks again

We really had a great trip. The house was setup very nice for the group we had. We only had one issue and that was it rained two of the nights. The room with the full size bunks ceiling had a leak. So we were unable to use the top bunk due to it got the majority of the rain. But we had a fun group and made the best of it. I would definitely rent that house again. Might be more aware of the weather.

Wonderful weekend with moms, aunts, and cousins!! Everyone was very pleased with the house and we had 14 in our group! There was a small issue with the upstairs a/c when we arrived, but the property owner immediately responded and had someone come out to take care of it. It cooled down perfectly by bed time. On a side note, the driveway is very long and steep and took a little maneuvering for a bunch of ladies 😂 but we worked it out. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is so beautiful and quiet!! Our daughters loved playing outside on the porches and in the yard. The house had plenty of room to spreadout and pefect shared spaces to spend time together. We enjoyed a nice walk down to the lake and a relaxing weekend in the trees!! We hadn't made it out of the neighborhood before our daughters asked when we could come back. Clean and Quiet area for family. 4 bedrooms 3 Bath. Everything was Good. Close to the lake (Just 5 min by walk).large Balcony with great view. Owner was so kind and answered every question before trip.

We had a great time visiting the lake. The house is nice and in a great area with great views of the lake. Only a few issues, the decks are in need of renovations, like the creak with each step and kind of make you nervous, and the furniture throughout the home is old and uncomfortable. Bunks are made of metal so climbing up and down them hurt the kids feet. With some basic improvements the house would be a great getaway for a fun time.

Property was perfect for our weekend. Many rooms with multiple eating, sleeping and conversation areas. The views of the lake were fantastic. Property owner was super helpful!

Good place for large group

The house was perfect. There was plenty of space for our group of 14. The decks are super fun, the view is beautiful, and the beds are comfy. It was a great getaway!

We had a great time staying at this property. It was spacious, well kept, and had amazing views. I was a little surprised when I was told the morning of our reservation that the two top twin bunk beds we're only suitable for children 60lbs or less - as we had planned for adults to sleep there; but we made it work. Also, there was no shampoo/conditioner/bodywash in the showers and limited towels; otherwise we had a great time and would definitely recommend this place for large groups looking for some lake time.

The house was perfect for our family of 8. The sunset was great with the view of the lake and the islands. It was close to High Port Marina so very convenient for getting to our boat and back each day. Jeff was great to work with and very responsive to questions.

"The Views Are Alive with the Sounds of Natures Beauty". Sunset amazing, family time exceeded expectation, guests had a blast! Lots of level changes - but this did not discourage my parents movements. 17 guests total (13 overnight). Party for 35 guests on Sunday for a few hours. Memories that will warm us through winter and last a lifetime! Jeff was accommodating and easy to work with.

Good property with plenty of room for 14 of us. It rained most of the weekend, however, the weekend was still very enjoyable...

We really enjoyed our stay at this amazing home. The views from the top deck are really something overlooking the lake and islands. It's a very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we could want or need. We were fortunate enough to enjoy the first cool front of the season. We'll be back soon!

Jeff was always available for any questions. We found the house to be clean and comfortable.

The view from the deck was amazing, had plenty of supplies, beautiful decor, right down the street from the lake, even had cable for the little ones! The owners were very helpful. Would greatly recommend
