What breakfast?

A comfortable chair. Better lighting over the sink. A bigger television. A lock on the inside of the entry door.

The location is the best asset for this property. Everything is within walking distance. From the local coffee shop, to a nice dinner, there is no need for any other transportation.

The property is a bit run down, but if you keep a positive attitude and set your mind and clocks to island time, it really isn't so bad. After all, if you book here you should know it isn't the Ritz.

The staff was very helpful upon arrival and throughout my stay.

Overall the lodge is older but they have tried to maintain it well.

I would have liked a broom in the hotel room. Sand is inevitable and it would have been nice to be able to sweep it up.

It was well located on the island. This is an older establishment, and those who stay here should expect the quirky things that come with older buildings.

It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room and grab bars in the shower.

A walk through called the game room was a short cut to rooms located on the other side of it. management asked a guest to lock up the room, which he did at 8pm even though the sign said it closed at 9pm. this made my 89 year old mother having to walk around the outside of the hotel in the dark to get to her room! there were coffee pots in the room but no coffee or creamers so why? The portable heater started beeping nonstop at about 5:30am which resulted in my husband and I waking up way to early!

The staff was super friendly and helpful the lodge itself was amazing and super interesting I would definitely recommend to anyone

There is nothing to not like about this place

Nicely renovated room, fast internet, good games in pool room, really hot water, helpful staff with a good sense of humor, bicycle rent, close to everything.

Cold in room. Space heater was too small for room.

Staff was great—super responsive when we had a challenge with the AC. Fixed the issue and our stay was then very comfortable. Also—excellent cats around the property and village. Love the aggressively friendly cats. (If you can’t appreciate that maybe you need to do some work)

Parking was a bit competitive but not a major issue

I really liked that there was a family friendly atmosphere. There was a game room where we could play large games but there were also board games and cards available. Also, the staff was super helpful and went above and beyond to answer questions and help us out when we asked.

The beds were a little firm.
