Trop loin du centre 4 kms fort dénivelé impossible de marcher, pas de restaurant et pas de climatisation.

Отель расположен далеко от центра, но это не проблема, можно легко доехать на тук туке. Приезжает Pick me.

The views! The high ceilings, it was spacious, staff was extremely helpful. Best stay out of my three month trip to Asia

View of Kandy valley was amazing.

It's not a hotel. Perhaps 'guesthouse' comes closer to describing Kandy Unique Hotel. The staff were friendly. However there are so many issues, most probably due to the owner's lack of investment. The room and overall facilities are at first very appealing. We booked a large room with an adjoining balcony. However the balcony is shared with other guests, one of whom made night phone calls right outside our bedroom. Could be easily separated with tables and chairs. The weather at night was cool. Blankets are not provided, just a thin sheet. I requested and was given 1 thin blanket. The advertised open fireplace does not exist. However the bathroom does have a spa bath... it just doesn't work. Water literally did not flow into the bathtub. The large windows are very low and allow the nextdoor neighbor and the balcony to view more of your bathroom activities than most will be comfortable with. The shower was large with good water pressure. However, the hot water was usually not working. The power board switches overloaded persistently. The phone to reception did not work so every time there was cold water we had to walk down 2 flights of stairs to advise. The staff would then walk in the bathroom, hold their hand under the shower to confirm it was cold. After 2 days of this, we resorted to flicking the overloaded power switches back on ourselves. My son only had 1 hot shower during a 4 day stay, while i got 3 but had to wait up till 2 hours to start the day. The bathroom door/handle was broken, and could only be closed from the inside, causing the door to be left open at all times except when in use. The weather started raining on day 3 which is no one's fault but this made the cold showers harder to endure. The location is beautiful, but 15 -20 minutes to reach town by car. While tuk tuks can be arranged.it was difficult to do this at short notice. Uber drivers did not accept pick up. There are no restaurants nearby.

The location was very good. Away from the main city. Very peaceful and quiet. The sunset view from the terrace was just excellent. The rooms are good and spacious. Overall, a very good experience! The host Vishwa is super nice and helpful :)

You should come for the beautiful view and sunset. The balcony is nice and the staff was always polite.

Small thing like constant dripping from roof onto metal sheet outside room could be heard all night. Did not mention it, so they did not have a chance to correct it to be fair. I would stay again if I was I Kandy again.
