El alojamiento se encuentra a unos 15 minutos andando del centro de Burdeos y con una parada de bus muy cerca. La habitación estaba muy limpia y contaba con todo lo necesario (baño propio, secador, toallas, productos de aseo...). La cama era muy cómoda. Disponía además de una habitación aparte que es donde se da el desayuno, pero que se puede utilizar durante el resto del día para comer o incluso tomar un café o una infusión que se encontraban a libre disposición. El desayuno incluía una cesta con varios panes y cruasanes y disponías de mantequilla, mermelada, fiambre, yogur, cereales, café o té y zumo de naranja. Todas las instalaciones son muy bonitas y tranquilas y el encargado se preocupa en que te sientas cómodo.

La Chartreuse is a very comfortable guest house with a helpful proprietor. It is located within easy walking distance (less than 20 mins) of the Old Town, and has on site parking. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed taking breakfast in the terrace. Pierre provides a useful app when you check in which was helpful in navigating the city.

The property was superb , a real hidden gem . Pierre has a wonderful place , beautifully decorated and a wonderful tranquil garden .
We stayed in the Marie Brizard suite which had its own little terrace to sit out in the sunshine .
The decor of the rooms was exceptional, obviously done by someone with a flare for interior design .
Beds were very comfortable and it was very peaceful .
The property although away from the town is on the tram route so ideal .
Pierre was extremely helpful answering my e mails before we arrived regarding our luggage .
There was nothing not to like !

What a perfect place to stay. Quiet location, yet only a short walk into the main centre.
The room is modern & perfect for our stay. We were greeted warmly & given tips of where to go etc. we will be returning for sure !!!

Pierre is the consummate host! He helped arrange a wine tour for us, and then asked how we liked it. He called a cab for us when we left. The breakfasts were delightful with croissants, a fruit basket, cheeses, meats and great coffee. Location was great for walking into the old sections of Bordeaux, and very close to a tram stop. The room was very clean and well appointed, with great air conditioning. The outside terrace was a wonderful place to sip wine, and in good weather, have breakfast.

An incredibly beautiful location, and the staff is absolutely wonderful! You could not ask for better hosts. The dinner they made for us was very very nice. we got in very late, and Stefan was there to greet us with a smile on his face. 
The floors are very creaky, however, it’s not as though you can hear much from other rooms.

Pierre and Mikael were a real delight. Nothing was too much trouble. They even helped me with my French. Our room was beautiful and immaculate. Central location only around 4 minutes from tram stop. The pictures don't do La Chartreuse justice. The accommodation is stunning.

Very beautiful, clean and well organized building and rooms, only 15 minute walking from the city centre. Pierre was a perfect host, while he was serving a very good breakfast he gave us useful advice on what to see and which restaurants to choose. Super recommended!

Clean and comfortable. This is a boutique hotel with only a few rooms.
Slightly far from tourist attractions, perhaps 15-20 mins walk. But once you learn how to use the tram it is fine.

The room was very clean and had everything we need. The location was perfect and a short walk into the town. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff were amazing. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Pierre, the host, was very kind and tried to help us in any way he could. He was very good at giving directions and suggestions. He was very soft-spoken and communicated well in English. He went out of his way to make our short stay at La Chartreuse enjoyable. The room was in perfect order when we arrived.
Everything was good. The only thing that was not ideal is that the location is not so near the historic center. The short walk down the street from the public transport, makes you wonder if you have made the right choice, but don't worry...once you open the gate everything is perfect, especially considering the reasonable rate for the quality of service!

Quiet, beautiful property with close and easy walk to city bus and tram and neighborhood restaurants. Staff was exceptional and attentive. Would definitely stay here again!

Bedding was comfortable, lots of lighting choices, owner very friendly. After a long day of travel, it was nice to do self-check-in and just easily fall into the privacy of my room. Quiet and simple pretty public spaces, generous breakfast options.
