My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Harbourne Oast. It's an amazingly picturesque and relaxing location, bustling with wildlife. The cottage itself was well maintained and well equipped for a party of nine, and the hosts were helpful and responsive. All in all we had a lovely time and would definitely consider returning.

Harbourne Oast is an old oast house that has been lovingly converted into a stunning five double bedroom property that is easily big enough for seven adults. There’s private space around the house to the back and front. At the front is a fenced, lawned garden & at the back is a beautiful, large duck pond, patio & seating areas - also, there’s a patio heater (worth mentioning). The five pond residents said hello every morning when we got up - cupboard love as it was clearly for the bread we fed them. :) Zoe had kitted the house out with all the essentials and a few extra items like biscuits, bread, fresh coffee, tea, eggs & milk. Really lovely to have those as we arrived. Maybe one more chopping board would be good as we prepared & cooked every meal at the house all weekend for seven people on just one. Zoe, sorry if there was another that we couldn’t find. That said, the kitchen is huge and charming with seating for about 8-10 people & a lovely range-style cooker. One of the nicest parts of the house is the vaulted dining space between the kitchen and lounge. It’s a bright, airy space that’s a pleasure to walk down into from the upstairs bedrooms with floor to ceiling glass on both sides & stone tiling underfoot. The lovely ground floor bedroom in the lower oast is accessed via the lounge and/or has direct access via the garden. The lounge is comfortable, has a huge log burner & a large smart TV, DVDs & games. Zoe & Matthew kindly have us logs to use for the burner too. All beds were comfortable and all bedrooms well equipped with soft blankets, vanity kits & towels. The vaulted-ceiling master with en-suite, located up its own staircase on one side of the house, is superb. The showers are powerful, modern and Zoe supplied shampoo & conditioner. There was also beautiful hand wash & lotion at each sink. The whole house was immaculately clean and painted & decorated to a high spec.
