The house was not very “cozy” but was good for those that were only there to eat, sleep and shower. It looked like it was recently renovated. The shower seemed backwards with seat in front and open in the back.,,but very good flow!

Lots of room in the house, can be great for 2 families.

We had a group of 10 adults and the house was very spacious and clean. It was a great location with an easy walk into town. I would highly recommend this house. Watkins Glen Properties was great to work with as well.

The property is clean and in a great location close to town. The rooms are set up nicely for groups to have their own rooms and bathrooms to themselves. Good entertaining space having the kitchen/dining and living room all on the same level. Cons: towels were really bad as were the pillows. I made a quick run to Walmart to purchase new towels, pillows and pillow cases. The bedroom that is downstairs is located directly under the kitchen/dining area and you absolutely know it when you are down there. YOU CAN HEAR EVERY FOOT STEP!! Lastly the oven could use a good scrubbing. We tried to cook some breakfast casseroles and it got a bit smoky due to the grime on the bottom of the oven. Overall it was a good place to stay once we addressed some of the issues.

We had 10 adults for a wine weekend. House was nice and warm and clean. Lots of dishes, pans. Nice setup with 3 full baths, 2 half, and 5 bedrooms. Plenty of room on main floor to move around. No yard per se but great decks for summer use. Manager was very helpful and responsive prior with information. Only suggestion it to have more towels available. Overall a nice, big house to rent close to town and wineries. Would stay again.

There were 8 adults in our party. The walk up and down the stairs to town isn't as intimidating as it looks and the little town is cute and quaint. Landons right off the steps is the best bar! The state park is right there so that's in the perfect location also to the property. The House itself is 3 Full bathrooms, 2 halfs and 5 bedroom. The description on VRBO is all over the place so don't listen to it. There is no washer or dryer. We stayed for 3 nights. We received a dirty towel set each for the 3 days; No extra anywhere. There were hairs and blood in each bathroom and the water is yellow. The carpet in the rooms upstairs were so stained and unacceptable you have to wear socks. The sheets and comforters all had stains and pillows and mattresses were old and very uncomfortable. We went to walmart about 5 min drive away and got all new sheets and comforters and left them so you may get our clean sheets. The kitchen was fine we didn't use anything; happy the fridge worked for our beer and snacks. The floor when we walked in was dirty; looked like they maybe cleaned it half way and noone came in to check the place in months when we arrived. The couch in the other section was clean. End result, I wouldn't stay here again however if your looking for a cheap place with a lot of people as long as you bring clorox wipes, sheets, comforter, towels and slippers you should be good to go. Finally, I never called to complain in their defense and never really write reviews bc most are bad however the dirtiness of the place warranted it this time.

We had a great week. The property is close to Franklin Street which is the Hip strip which has all the food and Bars. Walking distance from the Watkins Gen State Park a gorgeous attraction and 30 minutes to Ithaca which is a bigger City. The House has much more pros than cons. Some fixtures and equipment need updating. C.W.

We had a fantastic time in the FLX. We loved how close we were to town and hiking. One of the bathrooms had not been cleaned and neither had the grill. But other than that, the house was great. We had plenty of room for our group of 9 girls. The property manager responded quickly when I reached out with a question.

The house had everything we needed! It was perfect for our bachelorette party and had plenty of room for everyone. It was great to have 3 full baths and 2 half for 8 women. We utilized the deck a lot as well. Communication was streamlined and I was kept up to date. Would stay again!

Excellent location within walking distance of all of Watkins Glen downtown. Large and spacious kitchen and living room. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Spacious, well-located with a great east facing deck. A bit utilitarian as respects furnishings but comfortable. Property manager was helpful in resolving a minor issue which arose shortly after checking.

Clean, new house with lots of room located within walking distance of everything to do in Watkins Glen! Hike the State Park, kayak Lake Seneca, enjoy the restaurants and atmosphere of great small town - all within walking distance! Very short travel to some of the greatest wineries in the finger lake region and plenty for the kids to do while your gone!

The house is located a short walk from the village of Watkins Glen. It's new construction, and with it's layout of bedroom suites offers great privacy. A great central location for all the Finger Lakes region has to offer.

We had a great trip and really enjoyed staying in the house. Each couple basically had their own wing and everything that we needed was at the house. The kitchen was stocked with items that we needed. The home is really spacious and we loved it!

Four couples spent an awesome late December weekend at 140 S. Monroe in Watkins Glen. First of all-this House is HUGE! Each couple had their own floor and wing! It was so nice that all linens, towels, TP and paper towels were provided! (a few extra kitchen and hand towels would be nice though) but to not have to haul all of that was perfection! House is super clean, very modern and the views are great. Beds are comfortable and each floor has heat/AC units. Kitchen has everything you need with lots of glasses, plates and even coffee filters for the coffee pot. WIFI, cable and smart TV’s on the main floor as well. We walked to the amazing Glen Bakery for coffee and lunch, had drinks and snacks at Nickles BBQ and the Mexican place was awesome. We ended the night with a fun band at Landons which was right at the bottom of the stairs to our street! Sunday we spent at local breweries, wineries and had a terrific lunch at the FLX Weinery. This would be a great house for any kind of family reunion, girls weekend or family vacation. The owners of these properties are improving the neighborhood and Watkins Glen!

This property has plenty of space for large groups. Communication with the owner was easy and she was very responsive. It has a big space for hanging out, as well as places for some privacy.

Great weekend with friends visiting the wineries. The house was perfect for our group & close to all the places we went to.

We brought several groups of people and had a bathroom for everyone and plenty of room. The property is well-appointed with wine glasses pint glasses coffee cups plates toaster pots pans Etc. If I had to make a single criticism it would be that there were no rocks glasses.

This place was perfect for our large group! We had seven couples in our group all in town for a long wedding celebration weekend. The layout of the house was perfect - the bedrooms are set up like mini suites (2 bedrooms to 1 bath) which allowed all of us to have some privacy while still being able to all gather together in the main living and kitchen rooms. Very close walking distance to town and the state park made this a great location. Property manager was extremely responsive and prompt with questions. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We were in the area for our son’s wedding so we were too busy to do much hiking or sightseeing. Would love to go back.

We stayed at 140 Monroe. The home was beautiful and well equipped. 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms made it very easy for four families to stay there together. We gave the kids a wing and us adults had our own space. We stayed for four days and really enjoyed ourselves. Two wonderful outdoor decks, plenty of kitchen utensils, plates, cups etc. I would highly recommend this home for your next getaway. Our only recommendation would be to add TV’s to a few of the bedrooms. Our families had a great time and would definitely rent this property again!

We had a great time staying at this house. It is only about a block away from the entrance to the Watkins Glen State Park. Lots of restaurants that are walking distance, big Walmart that is only a mile away. We were able to eat out and get groceries and cook. Owner is very responsive, overall we had a great time.
