Didn't like anything!

1. It was very dirty and messy. No luxury is required, but elementary cleanliness is a must. The tools were dirty, full of dust and mold, the ironing board and the iron were so dirty that I was afraid to iron because I would have damaged clothes, walls, doors, lamps, outdoor pillows were dirty and with mold, the outdoor sunbeds were torn. When I slept in the mouth in the evening I felt dust and mold. 2. It was extremely cold. In other places where we lived the apartments were heated and not cold. 3. We chose this villa because it was shown that the pool was heated. But on arrival it turned out that if you want a warm pool you need to notify five days in advance and pay an additional 500 euros. We did not inform you before ordering. 4. The whirlpool bath is also dirty. If you want to use it you need to ask to clean it. 5. It was so bad that instead of two days we moved to another place the next day. We asked for a refund of half the amount because it did not live up to expectations and misleading information was provided. Did not return the money. 6. The place is hard to find! The sea is far away. Some kind of nook. 7. We feel cheated by financiers and one day of vacation was stolen from us. p.s. we hsve photo

The villa was exceptional. It was well kitted out with all mod cons-perfect for a home away from home! The location was good and was only a 27 minute walk to the Albufeira strip(Google maps). There was a bus stop close by where you could take the bus to the strip. The villa is situated in a gated community with other villas and it was so peaceful. There was nature all round...tall trees, a little cat that came to visit us regularly, hedges around the property which provided privacy and beautiful plants to decorate the property. There was an Aldi in walking distance and Lidl a short drive away. There were nice restaurants, a shopping centre and the beach all a short distance away. The house was so spacious and clean in most parts. The garden was well laid out and manicured. The pool and jacuzzi was the highlight of our holiday and we spent most of our time eating outside at the table around this area. The sun beds were really nice and seemed to always be directly under the sun. The property was secure- there were locks on all windows and doors and another metal secure enclosure with locks on all windows and doors. There was a key safe with code to secure the house keys. There were first aid kits, sewing kits, UK plug adapters which were nice additional touches. There were also family board games, books and puzzles. There was a float for kids to use in the pool and other toys to use in the pool. The 3 bedrooms were situated on the basement floor and had built in wardrobes with hangers, sets of drawers and the beds were comfortable. One ofthe children's rooms had a daybed and had soft toys to play with and even a doll's house! We had a lovely stay and would consider returning another time.

What let this property down for me was the host. We were communicating by Whatsapp around the cost of heating the pool/jacuzzi, airport transfers and etc. At first the host quoted €400 for heating the pool and €200 for heating the jacuzzi. She then gave a discount of €500 to heat both. She said the electricity costs were high to heat the large body of water which is understandable but I thought it was too much and then she offered me the option to cancel (with no refund) which I thought was a bit passive aggressive. Her attitude was also displayed when we could not get the stove to work and I kindly asked her to direct me and she says no one ever 'had issues' with the stove before. She did offer to send someone out only after saying the above. I explained that it would be helpful if we had assistance with how to work the equipment when we first got there but she said that due to COVID there is no contact with staff and guests. This was surprising because someone came to collect money for heating the jacuzzi and he did show us how to use the jacuzzi without us asking. When we arrived at the property the house was still being tidied so we had to wait for this to be completed. We arrived within the check in window of 16:00-17:00. The host did offer for us to check out late though but we had an early flight so could not make use of this. The jacuzzi was a little dirty and one of the head rest cushions kept coming off. It seemed as if the water needed to be changed. The water jets in jacuzzi gave a lovely massage however and we enjoyed it still. The fridge started to leak after 2 days of staying there. However it was still functional. The address was difficult for UBER taxis to find. Instead the taxis coming in to 29, it kept stopping at villa 823.

Villa was lovely, clean and spacious. Quiet and secluded, fenced with hedges all round, not overlooked at all. Yet safe in a residential area and close to everything. About 20 mins walk to 'the Strip', 10 mins to a big Aldi, 15 mins to St Eulalia beach (lovely small private beach with rentable loungers and a couple of tasty restaurants). A few restaurants and pizzeria about 10-15 mins. A small shop on site a few mins away. Tennis courts. Probably about 45 min walk to old town, although we took the little tourist train one day, and a tuk tuk! Taxis are really cheap too. The location of the villa is great when you see that most of the 'town' is made up of apartments so villas are all at least 15-20 mins walk. Reccommend taking the pool heating, you won't regret it. It was wonderful, at 32 degrees like a warm bath. Kids loved it. Could swim at night. Decent sized pool so could have a proper swim. Had the hot tub too. Quiet area meant you could see clearly the stars. TVs in bedrooms and large smart TV (netflix access etc) was a hit too. Good showers. Good ensuite. We mostly ate out but kitchen seemed well equipped. Elsa was lovely too, great communication. As was the gardener that tended the pool and hot tub. Very sweet and polite the few times we saw him. We had a wonderful time. Totally reccommend this villa.

Really clean and comfy Andre was great very welcoming. Would highly recommend.

The Villa is absolutely lovely. Very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The pool and outdoor seating area are fantastic. The villa is a 10 minute drive from Albuferia old town and about 5 minutes from" the strip". The villa is in a quiet location and is great for a relaxing holiday and is also a great place for exploring the Algarve.

The place is perfect and really does not need improvement .
