Location was fantastic for us, about 10 mins from the main area of the Strip! Supermarkets all very close by. The pool was gorgeous and the villa was just the right size for us (there were 6 of us).

The wifi does occasionally drop out but it's not an issue during the day as the 4G in the area is good at night it can be more problematic because there are so many people on the Strip that is close by that 4G can be slow. The ceilings are quite thin so you can hear conversations and movement from upstairs when downstairs quite clearly but wasn't too much of an issue.

we mostly stayed outside swimming and having bbq’s! really enjoyed our time. came with kids and although we were stoned throw distance from the laganas strip it was very quiet and peaceful. special thanks to Howard for being a great host and helping us whenever we needed it!

Such a nice place to stay, people looking after you are amazing. Helped us get the bbq going, checking in to make sure we were alright and sorted transfer for us as well!

There was six of us, so wasn’t enough sun beds. Although there was lots of inflatables to use and lots of other areas to sit!

Absolutely faultless, greeted on arrival by Howard who was always available but never intrusive, nice welcome pack to get us started. Beds were very comfortable, pool is beautiful with plenty of sunbeds or plenty of shade available if you want it. Location is suberb, we had a car for convenience but not required if you planning on staying local, big supermarket only a few minutes away with the main drag of Laganas only a few minutes more yet you still have the peace and quiet of being out in the country

The entire property is pretty big, with a very nice pool with 4 sunbeds. You will also find a fully equiped kitchen. At the arrival we found some fresh fruits, juice, wine, bread, jam, cheese and ham. The owner, Mr. Denis is the kindest man and also Howard, who takes care of the house, helped us with everything we asked for. At the end of our stay, Mr. Denis came again to offer us some souvenirs :)

A small problem is the wi-fi connection, that is very poor. We rarely managed to connect our devices. Another thing is the extremely thin floor between the rooms. You can hear each other from the room above/below even if you are whispering. Any noise made (like dropping a bottle of water) is amplified by the wooden floor. Last thing that can be mentioned is that you should be careful about insects and little lizards, because they can come in if you leave the door or the windows open.

The villa was clean and beautifully presented on arrival, complete with some groceries, fruit and a bottle of wine. The host was not intrusive but came by regularly to check everything was ok and to gift a huge home-grown watermelon and bunches of grapes. Just over the road live Lindsay and Howard who take care of the villas and were always available to sort out any niggles, answer questions and be generally lovely humans (thank you for the eggs, it was worth the cockerel crowing to have such fabulously fresh ones). There are air-con units in all the bedrooms and the living area which work very well. There are also heavy wooden shutters on all the windows and the doors to the pool which can be used to block out all light and quite a lot of sound if you prefer the natural approach. The beds are very comfortable with one lovely plump pillow per person. The pool area is the crowning glory – immaculate and well-maintained. The decking is actually a wood-effect ceramic tile which does not get hot or very slippery when wet. The pool is large enough to swim lengths and around 1.5m deep except for a large shelf which is around 30cm deep – perfect for paddling, climbing on the Lilo, sitting, and reading. The sunbeds are comfy and lightweight to move around. There is a lot of room in the sun and lots of shade if you want it – there is even a large padded stone bench under the overhang of the house which is in shade all day. There are lots of small supermarkets on the strip, around 10 minutes’ walk away. There is also a huge supermarket called AB opposite a huge Lidl on the main road about 8 minutes away by car (you will see these on the way from the airport). The Lidl obviously doesn’t have the range of AB, but it does have a massive bakery section with doughnuts, hot and cold pastries, baguettes and various types of loaves and a rather fun slicing machine.

This is not really a negative but I ran out of space in the positives: the photos are beautifully arty but don't make it easy to see the layout. There are two double bedrooms and a shower room upstairs, and a twin bedroom and shower room downstairs. The downstairs living area is a combined kitchen, dining and lounge leading out to the pool.

Cleaners didn’t come till last day. Local dogs can be quite noisy at night.
