My only disappointment was that I could stay only two days. I was in town for a wedding but enjoyed close access to local wineries, restaurants and groceries. The setting at the horse ranch is so peaceful. It has a well equipped kitchen and bath and very comfortable bedding. I’d definitely stay again.

Everything was pretty great.
This ADU is only 30' from the occupied horse stalls however NO bad smells and few flies! Quite wonderful to wake up the horse neighing. Very spacious, too.
Our only drawback is that I'm short and bed was higher than I'm accustomed to

My wife and I enjoyed our three-day 28th wedding anniversary at this ranch gem. It's very removed from the city noise yet major tourist attractions within the Santa Barbara area are just about an average of a 45-minute drive from this place. Haller Coastal Homes which is the management company is reachable and helpful if needed and so are the owners. Waking up to birds singing and Seeing the horses on the ranch was a bonus. The outside of the property is what you would expect on the farm a structure with a moderate appearance. But wait until you walk inside the specious studio, it’s very welcoming, homey, very clean and has everything one would need in their own home. The decor is simple but elegant, the colors are very well coordinated, the bed which blends into the farm theme is very comfy and so are the pillows and beddings. The bathroom and the shower are very clean and well stocked with supplies. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils if you are into cooking. The AC is very quiet but it can regulate temperature within minutes. The price is very reasonable given what this property has to offer. We will book this studio again and my wife and I - who can be hard to please sometimes - do recommend it particularly if you are a couple.

Loved our week at 3 Oaks Ranch! The hosts are awesome people! The ranch is in a gorgeous area, the views spectacular, waking up to the horses and helping with nightly feedings was special! The rental was spotless, so comfy and had everything we needed! Perfect location for getting to all our destinations we wanted to visit during our trip! We will definitely be back!! This little guest house next door to the stables is absolutely adorable and comfortable, very relaxing. The hosts are friendly and generous, the animals are very quiet. Our only complaint is the television reception. It did not stay up for more than five minutes at a time. Got plenty of reading in.

We came out for my brother’s wedding in Solvang and we wish we just had more time at our own quarters here on this lovely, beautiful farm. Everything from the horses to the host were just lovely and kind and we had the most peaceful experience. we cannot wait to come back.

This property is excellent. We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer! The apt is super clean and has everything you need. It's so cool having horses as your neighbors. The property was more than expected. Being so close to the horses made it amazing. My wife, who grew up riding, loved it. Very peaceful and quiet. The unit is very nice and fully equipped. If you need a swimming pool and a short walk to restaurants, this is not the place for you. If you want to sit outside and enjoy your morning coffee, listen to the birds and watch the horses, then stay here!

This Ranch House was the perfect spot for my husband and I to enjoy the Santa Ynez Valley. It was very peaceful and quiet. We loved being next to the horsies and found it comforting. Wow! What a great stay!
We made a last minute decision to come up to Santa Barbara Wine Country and found this great gem.
The location itself is perfect. Not too far off the 101, the property is a few miles down the highway. Just a few hundred yards away from a major road, the home is super quiet.
To make the property even more unique, the studio (which feels much bigger than an average studio) has four horses and couple mini horses who hang out right outside your front door. Never once was I bothered by them, let alone noticed any sounds once I was inside the unit.
The inside of the studio was spacious, very clean and full of every amenity you could need for your stay. My wife and I were very impressed with everything. They even had a touch of the seasons. Since we were right up on fall, there were a few pumpkins and fall colors to add a homely touch.
Making the property even better, is the location to all the attraction the Santa Ynez Valley has to offer. Each town was no more than 5-10 minutes away (by car). Wineries, fine dining, shopping, etc., are located in every direction from the property.
We will definitely look this location up when we are in the area next time! I guarantee you will like it!

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay here. The owners are amazing and their animals are awesome. We couldn't have asked for a better place to be. The property is easy to get to, but close to town. There isn't much traffic noise from the highway. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We loved being greeted by the horses each day.

My wife and I had an unexpectedly pleasant stay at this very comfortable apartment located in the middle of a small horse boarding facility located just far enough off the highway to make you feel like you are very far away from urban life. We booked the ranch escape at the last minute, thinking it was not what we really wanted but that it would make do. However, we enjoyed our stay so much that we will now put this property near the top of our list the next time we visit SB wine country! The property is bordered by long row of towering, columnar evergreens reminiscent of those you see in northern Italy. To the south is a view of the Santa Rita Hills. Though we're decidedly amateurs when it comes to birding, we identified a couple dozen bird species that live in the area by simply sitting on the patio each day and sipping our coffee or wine. Even the most distant wineries are only 20-30 minutes away, as are most of the good restaurants in the Santa Ynez Valley. The apartment itself has a comfortable king size bed, a nice kitchen, and a wifi system more than adequate to stream our favorite TV shows at night. Although the owner has chosen to use a real estate company to manage the facility, she was actually quite accessible and friendly, and we enjoyed meeting her. We look forward to our next stay at the Ranch Escape and think most of you will enjoy it too.

The horse stalls right outside the front door. The quails, barn swallows, birds of prey, and dog greeters Remy and Lily combined with beautiful views of the mountains make this a perfect place to relax and let the rest of the world melt away.

This location was exactly as we'd hoped: Well-equipped and exceptionally clean apartment, literally with the horses and right in the middle of the beautiful property. The owner, Kim, was gracious, comfortable and helpful. Buellton is convenient for sightseeing and hiking. Loved everything about it.

This huge home was perfect. We booked for 2 months and it is a safe quiet gated small community. The pool was great, pool guys were very nice. Make sure you pay for the pool heat! Its exceptional! All day sun! Home was great when we had a few people over. Lots of room. Close to Disney, Shopping and restaurants. Property management was excellent at communicating and we had no issues. I would highly recommend this home!

This location is perfect! Our friends wanted to stay at the Marriott and we opted for something more fitting for the location we were visiting. The house is extremely well laid out and the furnishing are great. Fully set up kitchen so we didn’t even need to bring some of the things we did.

My friend and I came up to Buellton so that we could attend a wine makers dinner for a winery that we belong to. October is a very busy time and this property was one of the only places available. But we knew we found a gem as soon as we arrived and opened the door. Sitting right outside of our door were horse stalls, which you would think would have a strong smell, but this place is so clean and so peaceful and tranquil. It was a joy to be able to wake up each morning and hear the sounds of an actual working form . The studio is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It felt like coming home. Location was about 15 minutes from most of the wineries that we belong to but it didn’t matter that we had to drive. We were in a great location. We can’t wait to come back !
