Taraview Cottage - Fully self contained
Grand emplacement central lors de l'exploration de la Wairarapa. Taraview est situé dans un cadre rural avec une vue imprenable sur la chaîne de Tararua à 2 km de Greytown et à 10 minutes de route de Martinborough.
Endroit romantique pour les couples car il possède un immense bain de pieds en griffe assez grand pour 2, mais aussi un lieu de séjour idéal pour un couple avec enfants et un chien avec un demi-acre de terrain privé entièrement clôturé.
Conditions spéciales:
Disponible toute l'année 1 nuit reste OK sauf pour les week-ends tels que les longs week-ends ou des événements spéciaux tels que Toast ou la foire de Martinborough, alors c'est un minimum de 2 nuits.
Les animaux domestiques sont acceptables. Apportez-leur un vêtement pour dormir et faites de votre mieux pour les tenir à l'écart des meubles.

We had the most amazing stay - it is our second time going there and honestly it is the BEST if you are looking to unwind and relax . The garden is beautiful and the front porch is very sunny with a gorgeous view. On a cold day you can sit inside play games and light the fire - plus on top of all that it is super clean ! Highly recommended !

This property was perfect for my sister and myself, were there two nights, wished it had been longer. We both loved how the house had lots of old things ,all so comfortable ,the wood burner throw out great heat.Would love to revisit in spring or summer to enjoy the garden.

Was great to be able to stay out in the country on the outskirts of Greytown. We went to Mt Holdsworth and did a wonderful bush walk. We loved being able to bring the dog and having a super place for him to run around. Thank you.

Great location.. easy to find.. short distance to Greytown. Cosy fire place. The house was nice and warm with the fire going.. our dog loved the garden.. I felt the only thing missing was a microwave would have been helpful to heat up food.

A lovely little cottage 5 mins from Greytown. Plenty of firewood plus lovely duvet for a toasty winter stay! We appreciated the little touches: jams, coffee, Yorkshire teabags, dog treats etc. The road is busy during the day but quiet at night. Fully fenced large garden appreciated by the dog! Thank you!

Our 3 chihuahuas loved the secure garden having a great time exploring it. We loved exploring the Wairarapa. It is such a beautiful place. Great to have a comfortable base to come home to every day.

We had a lovely time in this beautiful spot. Clean and tidy cute cottage with attention to details such as treats for our dog, beautiful flower arrangements and welcome chocolate bars. I loved spending time wandering in the beautiful back garden. Our dog loved the space in the back yard also. Our younger daughter and I had fun finding the list of hidden items in the garden. Great location to explore Martinborough and surrounding area. We would love to come again.

Taraview cottage is the perfect getaway. It's just far enough out of Greytown and on the way to Martinborough. The gardens are lovely, lots of dahlias when we stayed at Easter. Beds are comfy and has everything you need. Very suitable for a couple or young family, with a dog.

We loved the combination of the peace and quiet when relaxing at the house with our two dogs and the nearness of Greytown and Martinborough for the food, wine and shopping. A great way to spend a holiday. And the dogs loved having such a large garden to explore and rabbits to half-heartedly chase. :-)

Taraview Cottage was exactly as described and easy to locate. It is well equipped and the beds comfortable. Early mornings were spent in the luscious back garden listening to the sweet bird songs. A bench hidden amongst the cottage flowers was the perfect space to meditate as the sun rose while at the other end of the day, the front porch became the spot to sip a wine as the sun set. We loved our stay here. The garden setting was a highlight. It’s a great location to base yourself to explore the surrounding area. The fur babies, enjoyed the garden as well and with the section being fully fenced it was a secure place to let them roam. We look forward to our return.

We had a lovely relaxing stay, enjoying the stunning garden and old-style cottage. The kids asked for a holiday where we don’t do too much and chill out together. This was the perfect spot for games in the garden and outdoor eating, or board games and movies inside in the evening. Perfect also for our wee dog.

Lovely place to stay close to Greytown. Cottage is cute as a button, very clean, and spacious for two bedroom. The garden is stunning, full of lovely spring flowers , lots of places to park up and read your book.

This cottage is outstanding - we had the most relaxing time - it is warm and cosy and set in the best location !
I do not think 5 stars is enough of a rating it needs to be reviewed as 5 stars plus !
The owners are very accomodating and communicate really well - making it a very stressfree holiday !
We will be back and stay for longer next time - four nights was not long enough !

Clean and cosy stay with a beautiful back garden 😊 Greytown is very close for shopping and eating; a good selection of holiday paperbacks and board games for evenings in. Our weather wasn’t the best so didn’t get to explore the beautiful garden as much as I would have liked.

Comfortable and quaint country house with a wonderful garden. Lovely and warm and welcoming. We had busy days so enjoyed the warm comfort of a wood burning stove and the opportunity to cook for ourselves in the evening. Double bed was lovely and comfortable.

Stunning gardens are homely and welcoming. This theme runs through indoors and outdoors with authentic decor. The huge bathtub (plentiful hot water) and cosy fire. Nice touches with flowers and treats made us feel welcome. Minutes to Greytowns cool shops and cafes. Busy road but quieter by nightfall.

This was not our first time at this gorgeous cottage and it nevers fails to entice us with it's wonderful charm, perfect presentation and beautiful garden. So nice to have a place where our dog is welcome and she too responded to the peace and quiet. Lovely host..we will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay - Loved the pretty cottage garden and appreciated being able to bring the dogs (treats and dog bags a nice surprise!). Great to view the history of the actual build - Cottage not the age some may think. Vases of flowers a nice touch too! Look forward to coming back again in the near future.

5 minutes from Greytown a cute 4 person cottage in semi rural area with the most beautiful garden with flower beds, fruit trees and sitting area. Ticked all the boxes.

A classic cottage, fully fenced dog-friendly, with cottage flowers and curios in the garden for the children (or curious grown-ups) to find. Prompt and easy communication with Jeannie. Small kitchen good for light meals. Only a few km back to Greytown cafés or head a little farther the other direction to Martinborough.
