The scenery is fantastic with wonderful views all around the property. This home is decorated with much thought and great taste. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can imagine for cooking better than any home I’ve vacationed in before. All the light switches are labeled which was very helpful. Beautiful vacation home.

There are 5 of us between the ages of 63 and 85, (this year) who have traveled annually for many years. Buttercup Haven was our best house yet. We had fantastic beds and bathrooms, great kitchen with everything one needs, outdoor seating for the full experience of the porches. And on and on…Franklin was close for groceries, the trash dump or gas. Margaret communicated well and even had a booklet with all information needed. Thanks so much for your lovely house!

Buttercup Haven is one of the most beautiful homes we’ve ever rented. The location is convenient to everything but also very private. Once entering the Featherstone development we didn’t encounter another person or vehicle the entire week. The views are spectacular in all directions. The home is excellently constructed, spacious and comfortable. It is also very tastefully decorated and the furniture and appliances are of high quality. The property and grounds are well maintained. Margaret, the property owner, was easy to communicate with and very attentive. We will definitely stay here again.

I'm hesitant to share the secret that is this property because it's such a magical spot - beautiful home, beautiful location, deeply relaxing. Margaret was a kind and communicative host, the home was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the location couldn't be beat. You will not regret your stay here.

What a beautiful home to stay in! The views were amazing! The house was clean and even better than the pictures! The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could ask for and more. We appreciated the communication and well thought out information packet.

Stayed here with our family over spring break and had a great time. The property is immaculate, has great views, is perfect for families, and has very nice amenities including the hot tub and fire place, which we used every day. This side of the mountains is slower paced but that was perfect for us as there is still plenty to do and the area isn't overdeveloped with cheesy tourist stuff. We had a very minor issue with the door code at check in and the host was super responsive and very nice. 10/10 would recommend this place.

Our women's hiking group found this house to be perfect in every way. Besides all the special touches throughout this beautiful house, we loved the mountain views in 3 directions, especially enjoyed the views from the hot tub including the lights of Franklin down below. The large dinning room table was great for shared meals and game nights and as an added bonus we enjoyed a beautiful sunset during dinner. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and the house is so open and roomy, each room offered privacy and enough separation everyone had plenty of space. We truly hope to be back soon!

This is one of the most beautiful houses we have ever stayed in with VRBO! Nothing was spared in this house. The kitchen is fully stocked, the linens on the beds, the decor is A+. The views are breath taking. Relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking is amazing. The host called to make sure we had gotten in and that everything was in order. We cannot wait to go back. We hiked in the Highlands and saw so many amazing waterfalls.

Buttercup is very beautiful. It has breath taking views. Very well managed and clean! Very detailed decor and you can tell that they take care of the property. We loved it!!!!!!!

Buttercup Haven is a beautiful mountain home. The pictures do not do this property justice. The views are breathtaking and the home was extremely beautiful. The home is stocked with anything you could possibly need but the grocery store and restaurants are a short 10/15 minute drive away. We did not want to come home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A little slice of heaven..The drive down the driveway was our first clue that this was going to be something really special. The gardens were beautiful and blooming! The view just at the corner of the house was panoramic and breathtaking. Enter the door and you didn't know where to look first. The gorgeous, beautifully appointed home with everything that you could ever ask for provided for your comfort and practical needs, or the 270 degree panoramic views that made you gasp. But let me be specific: The kitchen: a cook's dream! Well organized as well as stocked with family friendly dishes, adequate pots and pans, and utensils. The living area: Comfortable seating in several spots for dining or playing games, glass walled doors that brought those beautiful views to you at an eye lift. Large television to cover the whole living area so all could see and hear. Beautiful beams and architecture that left you wondering, "how did they do that?"The Bedrooms: Each with a different personality but the same in comfort, luxurious bedding, and space. Bathrooms: Interesting designs in each one and more than adequate towels provided. Downstairs: two game room type places for kids to have a ball or sleep. Laundry room: Modern appliances--so appreciated. Porches: we wore them out. All of us, young to old, loved being out there to drink in the views, drink coffee, have a meal, soak in the wonderful hot tub. We have stayed in a lot of cabins and this one exceeded our expectations. We felt welcomed and cared for by the owner even though we never met. But it was obvious that the hospitality offered here was more than just a rental. Her attention to every need you could possibly have had already been in mind and attended to. Thank you. This pictures of this property do it no justice. Once you arrive you will feel like you have just landed in a place that is not only magical, but equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. We spent a wonderful week here with my family celebrating our parents 60th wedding anniversary and I can't think of anywhere that could have made it more special. From booking, to all the detailed information that Margaret provided prior to our arrival, we were well equipped to plan an amazing week. The house is spectacular with decks for coffee in the morning and wine at sunset. An evening soak in the hot tub with a view over the city tops it all off. If you are looking for a little slice of heaven, then this home definitely needs to be added to your must stay list!

We had the most amazing time at Buttercup Haven! The location was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed exploring the trails near the house during the day, and we loved stargazing at night. The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 1 child. It was so clean--every surface was spotless! We especially enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, game table nook, and the well-stocked kitchen complete with gas stove. It was the perfect getaway and a wonderful family vacation we'll remember forever! Many thanks to Margaret for being such an exceptional host! She was very responsive and her attention to detail is superb. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

We enjoyed our time at Buttercup Haven! It was the perfect spot to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. Perfect location, quiet, relaxing, beautiful home and amazing views. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

My wife and I came to Buttercup to get away from being locked up in our house all day every day. It was great! The views in the morning and evening were really amazing. Everything was in great working order and we had no issues. Taking your recycling to the recycle place was a little weird, but it was so easy. No waiting and everyone was super nice.

We had an amazing time at Buttercup Haven as a family. Our first Thanksgiving without a family member who passed in May so making new memories and spending time together was paramount. Buttercup Haven did not disappoint in that respect. Margaret decorated the house prior to our arrival and it was a wonderful addition to our time at Buttercup Haven. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and bake just like we would at home. Thanks to Margaret for her attention to detail and making our stay a memorable one. We hope to return in the future.

We LOVED this cabin!! We spent more time in our cabin and enjoyed the company of one another and our meals together. Margaret was great to work with and she was always available if needed. Spectacular. That and a few other superlatives came to mind when we arrived – and we hadn’t even entered the house. Staying here was an wonderful experience, one that the photos only hint at. Our stay was made even better by the home’s accessibility features. With one member of our party a wheelchair user, we’ve found travel, even to ADA compliant hotels, usually requires us to be a bit “improvisational.” Lots less improv needed at this beautiful home, though we brought along some of our usual, handy supportive devices for the bathroom. The key thing is every one of us, walkers and wheeler, enjoyed all the exceptional views from the great room and east and west exterior decks. So nice to say, “this home is for everyone.” I’d happily return.

This was a great house and It had everything you needed. The beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The home was clean and well kept. The view was nice and the decks on all sides of the house were great for relaxing. Only a short 10 minute drive from the house into town. The owner communicated well and there was a great book there with everything you would need to know. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
