House is comfortable, kitchen has everything you'd need. Might need to make a trip to the store for essentials if staying more than a couple days. Walmart, Aldis, Dollar General, Meijer nearby. The bathrooms/showers are wonderful. The beds were all comfortable. We rented a pontoon down the lake a ways and swam off of it. Around $200 a day... made for a fun day. No tubing, though... unless you have your own boat. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks as well. Paddle boat and canoe also available. Life jackets available. You can fish or swim off the dock. Huge sand box area that our grandson spent hours in with his dozers and trucks and the sand toys they provided. The deck was awesome for the littles... completely safe and fenced in. We mostly ate out there. It would be really nice to have some reclining options on the deck... hammock, recliners, a swing bed would be AMAZING. lol. We enjoyed the fire pit for s'mores as well.

Great location, quiet neighborhood

We spent a week in this beautiful home, fishing, grilling, kayaking. Had a wonderful time. Our hostess was very nice and communication was easy and cheerful. The window air conditioner wasn't working upstairs and it was replaced with a new one ASAP. Loved the house, kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of. The wrap around balcony was wonderful and we spent many hours out there playing games and eating together! A wonderful vacation with all our family!!

The property was beautiful. Loved how it was secluded with the cove next door. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. It was very cold so didn't really get to enjoy the snow, but had fun hanging with family. Playing games and eating. Watched a bunch of Christmas movies. All in all a good time was had.

Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for our party of 10. Well equiped kitchen. Nice to have water toys (rafts, lifejackets and kayaks) to use. Easy communication and quick response from host. Make sure to read the check list for all the essential items YOU need to bring ...bath towels, trash bags, TP, salt and pepper, etc.....we had to run to the store!

The house was very clean and as pictures showed. There was plenty of room even with our large group. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well supplied. The owner was very responsive and a joy to work with. It was a beautiful setting. Everyone enjoyed being right on the lake and made use of the paddle boat and kayaks. We would definitely recommend this property. It felt secluded but only a short distance away from town, which made it very convenient.

Enjoyed lake and house

This house was amazing. I am a travel dialysis technician and was able to travel with my husband and two boys. We stayed here for3 months. Though I was working 6 days a week 60-70 hours and during the winter months ,I truly did not get a chance to utilize the property.. We even got permission to have our service dog stay with us, as one of my sons has a medical disability. . She only charged us $100 a month pet fee and we are grateful. I never went down stairs as it was too cold and musky , but it is a lake house and it was the winter .

This property was the perfect place for a college graduation gathering with friends and family. It's a beautiful location on the lake and plenty of room outside to eat or play in the yard.

The house is large with more than ample amenities. The kitchen was well equipped including 2 coffee makers, crockpots, toaster, other small appliances, and high-end cookware. There was enough silverware and dishes (matching!) to only require using the dishwasher once each day…and there were eleven people in our group. The location was perfect which provided beautiful lakefront views as well as 20 minute round-trips to the nearest grocery stores. The owner was great at communicating and responded to my emails and phone calls within minutes. Our 94 year old mother could easily navigate her walker from one room to the next and the main floor bedroom and bathroom were perfect. I highly recommend this property!

This is my family's second time staying here and we had a wonderful time yet again! The house is beautiful and the views are amazing! We had so much fun just sitting out on the deck watching the boats on the water. My 2yr old nephews amused themselves simply running all over the deck so it is great that it is completely enclosed and they couldn't get away from the adults. My whole family just had so much fun and we look forward to coming back in the future!

Every year my step son and grandkids come from out of state. We are able to gather with him, his children, his mother and her husband, his best friend and his brothers. We were so pleased to find a house large enough to comfortably hold all of us. Additional friends and family were also able to stop in for shorter visits. It was lovely to have 2 kitchen spaces available! The group spent so much time on the covered deck. What an amazing spot for morning coffee! Most of us also spent a great deal of time in the water. It was so helpful that there was a paddle boat, a canoe and a kayak available. There were also plenty of life jackets available. The host was easy to reach and quickly answered a couple questions that came up. We all had such a wonderful time! Thank you!

The house was exactly what my family needed. The six total bedrooms fit our family of 8 adults and 6 children perfectly. The wrap around main floor deck is wonderful. It has 2 ceiling fans with dimmer lights and was perfect for sitting and looking out at the lake during meals. We were blessed with great weather so we spent a lot of time lounging on the large grass lawn watching as the kids jumped off the dock or spent time on the paddle boat. The area had a terrible storm the previous week and the whole house generator provided the entire house with power for our first 3 days until the power came back on. We rented a pontoon for a week from the Narrows Resort at the other end of the lake. Although many reviews stated the fishing was good, we didn’t have much luck. If there was any negative, it would be that the lake was very high in algie as large plooms of algie were floating throughout the lake. Locals had told us the hot weather this year was the cause and it normally wasn’t this bad. We were able to take out the pontoon to the middle and use life jackets and floats to enjoy the lake. I must also note that Rosemary was the most responsive and caring host I have ever dealt with. Anytime I messaged her, she got back to me within minutes and never more than an hour. All in all, we would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a well kept, clean, well stocked and roomy house for a large group. Thank you Rosemary, we had a ball! John Perini

This is a beautiful property that accommodated our family of 14 ranging in age from 6 to 62. The whole property invoked a sense of peace and restfulness. The common rooms and the 6 bedrooms were spacious. Kitchen was well stocked for any cook. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool table. The lake access was good and docks clean. One item that saved our vacation was the whole house generator. There was a storm system that downed wires in the area. You wouldn't have known the generator was on except for the hum of the unit. This is the perfect location and property for a family getaway. Our large family of all ages had plenty to do inside and out. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board, the kids spent lots of time fishing off the dock and playing in the sandbox, and we all enjoyed meals on the balcony. The kitchen is the most well equipped of any property I’ve ever stayed in, we cook everything from scratch and had all the tools and equipment we needed!

The property was clean and very comfortable. Our 3 year old was able to swim right out front. We had a nice fire in the evenings. The view from the deck was awesome, but maybe the tree could use a little trimming. Overall it was great would return
