We were greeted by Helene and her husband and they gave us a tour of the property. The property is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. The house is located about 20 minutes from plaza east (market) and 35 minutes from some of St. Croix most beautiful beaches. I think this is the perfect location for a family that wants privacy yet not to far from the excitement.

Loved the house, and location. Only issue would be the constant noise of the pool running with air bubbling back Through the skimmer every 45 seconds.

Didn’t want to leave

Helen and her husband were very kind and welcoming. They met us at the property and showed us around. They even dropped off a few coconuts for us to sample after we arrived. The home is spacious, inviting, and the views are to die for. Fans and ac units in every room, plenty of towels and huge kitchen make your stay inviting. Wifi, cell service , and TV were spotty at best but me and my family enjoyed the time to deconnect and enjoy the beautiful island. We spent the majority of our time visiting the different beaches around the island, but when we were home the pool and deck is where we stayed. The pool is clean and the water was nice. The deck is huge with the most amazing views. We ate all our meals outside enjoying the breeze and the sound of the waves. The local beach had a ton of seaweed during our stay but a quick trip in any direction had plenty of different options. The east side of the island is great, very relaxing with very few people on any of the beaches we visited. Also great food options minutes away. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting st croix!

The property managers were wonderful! They addressed our needs which included a dead car battery and the dish cable company. Helene brought us fruit from the island! It was delicious!

We Enjoyed the pool day and night temperature was perfect. But Pool is in great need of repair stairs are terrible. Everything in the house is functional but needs updating. Helene was absolutely wonderful to us even brought us coconuts to make cocktails with! There is a fabulous breeze so we just opened up the house and enjoyed the fresh air! We loved walking the beach every day also enjoyed the casino a couple times. We love St Croix!

My family recently spent the holidays in St Croix. We have 3 teenage girls and wanted a property that gave everyone some space and a pool to use when we had some downtime. This was a great property for that. When we were at the property, we spent most of our time on the pool deck. Great views of the sunrise and sea. You can listen to the waves lapping on the beach below. Just a really great, peaceful location. The house had everything we needed and more. Martin and Helen were great hosts and had everything prepared for our arrival. We had a great time and really enjoyed the property.

We just returned from a week vacation on St. Croix and unfortunately this villa ruined our vacation ! This villa is an absolute dump. It is nothing like the pics on the listing, because the pics were taken 18 years ago when the villa was built. The owner admitted that. The owners have obviously done very little to maintain this villa. The furniture you see now was there from the beginning. Anything metal is rusted and corroding from the salt air. The windows and doors don’t open and close properly. Many of the lamps and lights either don’t work or need new bulbs. There are no functioning fire alarms. The pool lights are out and the furniture is cheap and the cushions are ripped and torn. There was not one bar of soap. We had to go to the store the next morning to buy some. The linens are a joke. I have better in my garage. They had hotel samples of shampoo and conditioner bottles that were either partially used or empty. Disgusting! The worst problem, however, was the villa is infested by ants and cockroaches, and when I called the owners to complain, she blamed them on us! She did nothing about it. We had to move out of the separate bedroom because of the them. I took my family, in particular my aged mom, for what we thought was going to be a fantastic Caribbean vacation in a 4-5 star villa. Instead, our vacation and probably my moms last vacation was ruined by this place. Some locals told us this villa is known as the party villa. The owners have not properly maintained this villa. All they care about is making as much money as they can. And their listing is very deceiving. The pictures are from 18 years ago. . I have so much more I can say about just how bad this villa is and I have many pics and videos to prove what I am saying. With taxes and VRBO’s fee this villa cost me alot! The most I have ever paid in my life. I did so because I wanted this vacation to be extra special for my mom. Instead this villa and vacation was a nightmare. PLEASE LISTEN TO ME AND DON’T RENT THIS VILLA! I don’t want this to happen to anyone else!

House is away from the hustle and bustle. You will have lots of privacy to enjoy the pool and view.

What an amazing property. The home is perfectly situated with amazing views of the beach and surrounding community. Our favorite thing to do here was relax in the pool and just enjoy the beauty of this part of St. Croix. While it was just the two of us, the home would be perfect for groups of eight with plenty of space to spread out.

Mainly we enjoyed the spaciousness of the home, location and scenic views. Also appreciated the pool, expansive kitchen and washer/dryer in the home. Kind hostess. The home does need renovation which cannot be seen in the photos.

Remarkable home. Very clean , the owners where polite & even gave us a tour of the island. The villa was equipped with everything you need for you stay & I love the pool & pool accessories. Over a great place & I will be booking again.

Perfect house perfect location

I was not happy with my stay. The property needs a deep cleaning and sprucing up. It smelled musty and was dusty. Bathroom faucets were clogged, toilet was not working in one of the rooms. The patio had shaky banisters. So it was a safety issue. Pool had not been cleaned. People say why didn’t I call the owners to have these issues fixed, well there was no cellular signal nor did the WiFi worked. Terrible experience overall. For all the money we spent on this property I was hoping for a lot more. Looks great in pictures, but I was disappointed when I got there. 😞😞

Internet didn’t work at all, cable tv was in and out, and the bedrooms a/c blowed like fan no kind of cold air in the rooms. Owner did try to help with getting the TVs working but unfortunately their cable provider wasn’t much help. No, attempt was made on figuring out the problem with the internet. Also, the place could’ve bin cleaned a little better. Best thing about this stay was being outdoor for the view and also being by the poolside, despite the pool having a black line around the edges of the pool as if the pool don’t be cleaned often.

Martin and Helene were so nice and gracious hosts! Property is a bit dated and I think we were the first to rent it in a while because of the COVID shutdown. But it wasn’t as clean as we might have liked. But the views and pool were amazing. Great stay and great hosts!

Excellent place to stay in for the weekend and have a get together

House is very gorgeous with an amazing view. Needs little maintenance and be really cleaned. Besides those issues I enjoyed my time.

Great home and peaceful location. But internet and cell phone was having serious issues somewhere. Owner tried to help but my husband and son both had work and phone calls to do. We had to work from the car down the road a way or go sit some where. Otherwise the home is a great place to relax. Loved watching the ocean and the iguanas!

We had a very time staying our first trip to St Croix. The house was very clean and all the appliances and air conditioning worked very well. Location is easy to get around the island, with many excellent dining places close. Especially Duggan’s Reef and Blue Waters Terrace. But be sure to make reservations. For another great place try the Cheeseburger in American Paradise. The 1/2 slab of ribs is some of the best I’ve had. Sauce could be a little stronger, but this a very personal thing. Getting to the Rum Distrillaries is easy. Don’t forget to take your 6 bottles per person back with you for free. The airlines will check them through to your destination free of charge. Our boxes made it back to Boston in great shape. Driving on the left side of the road is easy after a couple of hours practice. Local drivers are very courteous. Helene and Martin couldn’t been nicer. Helene went out of her way to contact the person that makes the couch shell piece that Helene had displayed on the living room coffee table. She even brought several pieces to the Villa for us to choose. Not many people would take the time to do this for you. Very kind. The outdoor pool was most enjoyable and refreshing. We used it almost everyday. This is a vacation location that we highly recommend and are looking forward to returning to St Croix. Mary & Jim

What a spacious home with excellent pool. Great for large groups or family’s. I has great access to a walkable beach. Close to casino and not to far from town. The owners are fantastic when needed and give you the privacy you wanted. Thank you Helene and Martin for a wonderful 2 weeks in your home.

So, the place was beautiful and amazing. I brought my friends and we all had an amazing time. The villa was supposed to be a PRIVATE villa, but the owner came in unannounced while people were still asleep and she cut the grass which is okay but I felt like she should’ve called and warned us. Another thing that happened was, we cleaned the place almost as close to how we met it before we left, but she spoke with someone that was on the mini vacation with us and stated that we left the place in a mess. We all know for a fact that what she said wasn’t true. The only thing we know we left is some trash in couple boxes outside by the door where it could be seen and the sheets we used were put in a basket by the laundry room. She accused us of taking stuff. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t one of the fees we pay a cleaning fee? So if we did leave that house in a mess she shouldn’t have a problem because we paid them to clean after we left. Like I said the place is amazing and you will definitely enjoy your time but if you’re a local she will most definitely be on your ass about things and call you even afterwards if a mess was left or if she assumed you took something.
