no bathrooms inside room, description doesn’t say so. pretty expensive for a room without bathrooms

We loved the location in historic Seward. we were able to walk to all the shops, eateries. we preferred the quiet vibe of this are to the more hectic seaport area.

I wished they had an outdoor seating area. the views were so beautiful of the mountains and the bay, we would have liked to sit and enjoy the.

We enjoyed the location!! Right next to downtown Seward can walk to restaurants and Sea Life Center. Very modern and clean. So relaxing!!

Super accommodating, spotlessly clean, nice, modern, great location. Quiet, but right in town close to attractions and restaurants.

Not a thing!

The lodge was unique and very clean. It was nice for a group traveling together. The view was good from the common area which was convenient for visiting and gathering as a group.

Sharing bathroom facilities was awkward and inconvenient. The bathroom facilities were very clean and nice but definitely made for longer time to shower each morning.

It was close to downtown town and to the Seward free shuttle in case you didn't want to walk to the harbor. We like the bathrooms (you only share bathrooms with one other room), the rooms, fresh coffee in the morning with real cups. It had couches in the lobby with a nice view. the lodge had pictures decorating the walls which portrayed Alaska in all its glory. It was very quiet place where we could rest all night without interruptions. The lodge looks new and it looks like it is very well taken care of. We have stayed in many hotels and Airbnb before in the USA and this is by far the place where we both felt the most comfortable, it felt cozy, it felt familiar as if I was walking into my own home. Even though we had a busy schedule we didn't want to leave in the morning and at night we couldn't wait to come back. It was that good.

The lodge is very comfortable and cozy. Scott greeted us and showed us to our room. We stayed in #4 which has a shared bath and commode with one other room. There is a sink and vanity in the room which kept the shared areas open. Never ran into guests from the other room for the shower or commode. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was very clean.

It would’ve been nice to have a clothes hanger area since we had wet coats from the rain forest. As well as a full length mirror. Just creature comforts!

Great style, very updated and functional. Location was awesome being able to walk to a nice coffee shop (Resurrection) and restaurants. The owner, Scott, was so friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

Love the renovated ranger station. If you know forrest service facilities you will recognize and love the building immediately. Exceptionally clean shared facilities, lovely modern minimalist decor, awesome view from our bedroom window and common room. Loved having a sink in our room, it made sharing a bathroom more convenient then usual. Location is excellent for train travelers. We took the free shuttle from the station, which dropped us a block from the hotel. Additionally there’s a coin laundromat a block away and a nice coffee shop with local art close to that while you wait for your clothes.

Could use more wall hooks in the rooms since there are no wardrobes to hang clothes. Traveling light, while hiking and kayaking means we need places to hang and air out rain gear etc. Also would appreciate access to an electric kettle in kitchenette area to make tea in the evening or morning. Microwave is okay for this but not great. Checked bag fee of $5 a bag was a bit steep.

Very quiet, clean, elegant 6 rooms lodge. Easy to get morning coffee and very close to downtown and Sea Life Center. Coffee was not good.

Our stay was great. We had a late check-in, even though it wasn't included. They have a bathroom and a shower only for two rooms. I didn't meet ours at all. The location is great. I would stay in again If I go too Seward.

The sink facet in our room made some noice while water was running.

Location was great, very close to everything in the downtown Seward area. The rooms were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shared showers/bathrooms were also very clean and the water was hot!

This is a super cool hotel! It is also the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Amazingly clean. The bed is super comfortable. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. It has a fantastic location and it is easy to walk to any part of town. I feel very lucky that I found this place. Highly recommend!

This lodge was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Very clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. You would be happy with one of these wonderful rooms.
