Perfect location for exploring Larnach Castle and the peninsula, quiet area, off-road parking, welcoming hostess, characterful accommodation!

DIY continental breakfast, but quirky nick-nacks peppered around the room means very little work space for food prep.

Very private and quiet. Comfortable bed; great shower; great choice of breakfasts left in the room each day. Very easy to talk to hosts who were very obliging. Would be happy to stay again.

Everything was good.

Good size room. Nice and warm. Good shower and toilet. Comfy bed. Good breakfast provided. There id a bus dtop at the bottom of the hill which you can cstch a bus to town. We did a couple of times no problem just s bit of a steep walk on the return trip.

Great place - need a car as it is on the peninsular not in town but has lovely views over the harbour. Warm with a heat pump. Lovely people - everything you need for breakfast - cereal, fruit, yogurts, selection of breads and home made preserves

Piringa is a great package for travellers who have things to do in the city, but no desire for the noise and hassle of a night there. Just a few minutes drive and you're on another planet. Piringa has a homely, kind vibe. We felt pampered and comfortable. If that's what you're after this is great value for money.

A clean, tidy and cozy place to stay. On arrival was everything warm with our breakfast for the next day in the room and Mary was a nice and welcoming host.

Mary’s room is actually a completely independent guest house next to the main house. The bed is extremely comfortable and the house is super clean. Mary has put some home-made jam in the fridge which was super delicious. We travelled in the middle of winter and it was very warm and cosy. The house has a lot of character full of artworks and photos around. It has a fantastic view as well. I think this is the best place you can stay in Dunedin. We definitely come back.

Spacious and private cottage with a lot of character and color! Mary thought of everything. Big bed, table and chairs area, easy chair, hair dryer, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and glasses. Nice ensuite bathroom with shower. Breakfast was provided in the room, very convenient. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Great Otago Penninsula location. We highly recommend.
