Convenient for exploring the city

The drain of the shower was blocked and water spilled onto the toilet area. The bathroom was damp so this has been an ongoing problem for some time. As a result I was unable to shower. I was travelling with family staying in the cottage next door and was able to use their facilities.

Everything was sorted in place. We didn’t have any issues a long our stay.

Lovely beds, bathroom, kitchen, good wi-fi for a WFH day and desk was comfortable. Nice to be able to look out at the garden as well. Great value.

The water pump wasn’t great although we got used to it. Also the couches weren’t my favourite and a deckchair or two would have been nice.

Some of the appliances need upgrading - the stove top is rusty The kettle is rusted and the kettle cord has been cut and then taped back together The deep freeze needs defrosting The braai is very rusted

Spacious , everything that we needed. Clean, lovey big bedroom, nice linen. Modern bathroom.

Shower does not drain well and the floor becomes very wet and slippery. Parking is not easy as share the car port with unit 3 - only if both units have small cars can you fit in - had to park Fortuner right outside the cottage. Just make guests aware of this. Would be good to have fans - luckily we brought our own. Cannot open windows in the lounge.

Self catering, the location was OK

The street is a bit dark no street lights, a nit scary when you a female and outside the gates

The bathroom was dirty

It seemed clean. I liked the wooden floors and furniture in the main bedroom. There was a small garden with an outside bench. There was safe parking.

It was a soulless, sad place. The tone of the information notice seemed abrupt and stern, warning against noise and destruction. The inside and outside bins were missing. We told the host and the reply was: "We know ma'am, the previous guests broke it". No warmth, just apathy. No attempt to remedy the situation until the next day when we insisted on being provided with a bin. The toaster was broken and there were not enough forks. To their credit, they eventually responded (just before we left) by bringing a working toaster, and extra fork and a bin. It would benefit from a table in the living room and more rechargeable lights or gas appliances in case of load shedding.
