Lovely apartment in a great location with secure underground parking
Could be cleaned and maintained a lot better. Could really do with the sofa being replaced as it was torn and patched up, Wardrobe and drawers in bedroom could also be replaced as they are very flimsy

Very spacious apartment in a great location. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
If I was to add anything it would be clothes/sponge to wipe around the kitchen.

It was really relaxing and quite, the apartment had everything you need so had nothing to worry about, good parking and hassle free entry basically come and go as you please… the balcony area was a bonus nice to sit out there and relax after a hard days work

the property was clean ,comfortable and warm annd was ideally situated near to the centre with plenty of resaurants and public houses and shops.
some light bulbs need replacing.bed base in first room on the left is very low to the floor thus making getting up very awkward. the carpet in this room is very heavely stained and needs replacing. the matching set of draws in both bedrooms are so woberly that they almost collapse when you pull the draws open. moving into living room/kitchen, the sofa is ripped beyond repair and needs replacing. when you open the knife draw it catches on the washing machine door and opens that as well. one of the kitchen unit pistons is broken so you have to hold the door up when trying to get plates out. went to use the small fan in the other bedroom and it doesnt work. im afraid paul its time to spend some money and do some repairs.

Great apartment within walking distance to the city centre. Brilliant instructions sent on how we access the building. Will use again when we visit Hull. We found apartment clean and tidy and we left it the same for the cleaner to come in and tidy. Thanks for a great stay!!
Tea towel in the kitchen would be a bonus, luckily I read the reviews and popped one in. Shower gel in the bathrooms would be good, again we packed our own just in case. Overall no real problems.

Kitchen is modern and well-equipt. Overall, the flat is decorated with modern and tasteful design. I liked not having the responsibility of a key.
Previous guests hadn't treated the flat so well and there were a few minor scratches and carpet stains. Critically, it was very clean.

Informed us they were entering flat to change the tables which previous guests broke. Didn't ask if it was OKbut just went in. Left the lockbox to the apartment wide open so anybody could take the key and enter where all of our belongings were along with valuables we thought would be safe!
Blamed us for marks on the carpet which weren't ours at all, I guess he does this to keep the extra 200 deposit which needs to be paid along with the cost.
Very unprofessional responses from the owner.
It could have been a great stay but we were left feeling very uncomfortable in the apartment on the first day!
Also; might be worth asking for dish towels and cloths as there are none. Not ideal when you try to clean up after yourself or take stuff out the oven.

The situation and being able to get together with family

Quite a lot of things need improvement in the apartment. Shower in bathroom isn't working though a nail has been put in it. Kitchen sink and fridge boxes weren't clean and my husband cleaned them. One double bed very uncomfortable.
Door to washer keeps opening and cupboards above don't stay open making it difficult to replace things. Crockery is a complete miss match.
Key codes for admittance to apartments are long and complicated.

Very nice location, loved the decor. We had some trouble with the thermostat and the hosts were very responsive.
The parking spot unfortunately was not big enough for van so we had to park in paid parking.

The Location was very central and so everything was close. The ease of access and the communication from the owners was very good. Parking was very good there is an underground carparking space for the apartment, although the space was a little tight for a large car, we have a Peugeot 3008 which only just fit.
There were a couple of things that need replacing but not too bad. The main thing was the stickers showing the lighting system etc are worn and so finding the correct light was sometimes guesswork and once at 3am in the morning all the lights in the apartment came on and woke us all up because my partner had gone to the kitchen to get a glass of water and pressed the wrong button.

We stayed at the Sawmill for two nights, the apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped and a short walk from shops, train station and theatre, so fab place for a City break. Enjoyed our stay would book this apartment again.
The apartment is a little tired in places, flooring in both bathrooms needs replacing as does the sofa. We stayed on the coldest day of the year so far checked in around 15.30 the apartment was chilly so turned the heating up but the apartment did not warm up until the early hours which then made the bedrooms too hot.Was disappointed no hair dryer. Think £200 security deposit a little steep given the apartment is a little tired and we paid in full months before we stayed. All of this said however we did enjoy our stay and would book again.

This was in a perfect location to the city centre, easy to walk to. The gated parking is great, you know your car will be safe in the underground parking space, which is allocated to you. The apartment was the perfect size for 4 of us & really clean. I would definitely recommend it, bed was comfy so I slept really well.
TV reception wasn’t great but we could still view a few channels & weren’t really there to watch tv anyway. There weren’t enough mugs for the 4 of us but I’m not complaining because I drank pints of tea! Who wouldn’t enjoy that?!
