Proximity to the beach was great to just go for an hour or two and quick and easy access back to the property. Ocean view is obstructed a little by the hotel but still was wonderful to hear the ocean and enjoy. Close proximity to the train and main road to shop or quickly go to Tillamook or up to cannon beach.

Great place to stay 1min walk to beach if that! We had one window that wouldn't close contacted support and they set it on the fix list. Beds, towels and bedding could definitely use an upgrade thou.

This is a great place to stay. Nothing fancy but met all our needs and was comfortable. Plenty of space for 3 couples and a toddler. Beds were comfy, had lots of items to play at the beach, and great selections of movies and games. It rained quite a bit while we were there. Location was amazing. Beach access was across the street and was one block from all the main restaurants and play structures. Will def stay again!

This is the second time we've stayed at this house for spring break and we'll definitely be back next year! The house itself is lovely: big enough for lots of people, dog-friendly, great amenities, super comfy. The easy access to both the beach and the little shops in town are excellent.

The property is located one block from shops, one block from the beach, and one block from the Catholic Church. We had an ocean view from two of the three floors. It was a pet friendly property, so the carpets didn't look great, but the house didn't smell bad. Couldn't get the main tv to work, nor the hair dryer, nor the bathroom fan on the second level, and had a lightbulb out in the lamp on the left bedside stand in the master bedroom. Space was perfect for spouse and two single, one married adult children and two small dogs. Fenced yard helped with night time dog needs.

It was the perfect location with easy beach access for us and the dogs. There were 7 of us and 2 dogs and the home was perfectly comfortable with plenty of space for all of us.

Pros:
- Good location, close to beach and town (the bakery!)
- Plenty of space for everyone
- Master suite is very nice with sitting area
- Beach toys and bikes in the garage
- Clean
Cons:
- Smoke alarm bracket, but no smoke alarm upstairs
- Rug at top of stairs has curling edges-major trip hazard
- Microwave above the stove is broken, so no vent fan or light (another microwave is provided on the counter)
- Broken blinds on both sliding doors, this is especially annoying in the master bedroom in the morning
- Two of the windows have broken mechanisms and won’t close without pushing from the outside
- Main floor bathroom fan is not working
- VERY slow drain in upstairs bath
- Poorly outfitted kitchen - no cookie sheets, no rubber spatula (I did leave one we purchased), no mixer or hand mixer of any kind
- Mattresses, mattress pads (stained and torn), and sheets (worn out elastic) need to be replaced
- Burned out lightbulbs

Great house, we had a great week. Place was well stocked. Wish there has been more propane. Very comfortable beds and all bathrooms were great. Just perfect for us. Despite not being g on the beach the walk was only about 30 seconds!
Only issues were at the beginning. We had a delayed check in due to unforeseen circumstances according to Vacasa. When we got in , there were a few broken items and cleaning items left out but nothing we couldn’t be without for the week. Vacasa was extremely responsive to my comments and questions!

Good location a block back from the beach and plenty of space with 4 bedrooms for our family (7 adults, 2 small children). Unfortunately a regional power outage meant no lights, refrigerator, heat, gas stations, etc. Notified the only contact, an 800 number, that we had to leave early and could not run dishwasher, laundry, etc. Have received no acknowledgement a week later.

We had room for everyone and even had more family staying a few houses down . It had easy close access to the beach.

The house was great. The appliances were little to be desired. The range was rough and pots and pans were terrible. The dishwasher was touchy. It ran all day one day while we were away. Really nice having a washer and dryer to use. The place did the job.

Great rental! Perfect size and location.
We had a reunion with myself and my adult siblings. There was room for all of us plus my husband and two kids. The place was clean and had lots of extras, such as streaming platforms, a well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and sheets as wells as games and DVDs. I would highly recommend this rental for a large family.

Really enjoyed our time there, access to the beach is amazing and the home is great...there were just things that were missing- details that for the price should be in place.
Some of the windows do not open or are missing screens.
Most of the blinds do not work, including the main slatted blind that goes to the deck. Opening and closing it is possible, but extremely inefficient and annoying- when you are at the beach, you want to be able to open the windows for sea air, and this was really unfortunate.
The AC does not work in this unit, so staying during the summer maybe warm.
2 different guests got stuck in a broken recliner chair in the main room- chair gets stuck in the leg up/recline position. Lucky no one was hurt.
The futon is broken, it does not open to a queen, it did not advertise that it worked that way, but the couch part is also falling apart, screws are coming out and a board fell to the ground not attached.
A piece of wood on the very wobbly bunk bed fell off.
There were 2 can openers available, neither worked- we bought a new one and threw the others out.
There was no dishwasher soap, foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, etc. The kitchen was equipped with all kinds if extra appliances, but basic stuff was absent.
The dishwasher works only on one setting- the buttons that click to other options do not work.
The back left burner no longer heats at all- broken.
The drain in the Main bath upstairs runs REALLY slow.
The house have a maintenance list to get things repaired or replaced and it would be even more amazing!

Our annual Rockaway vacation
We loved the location of the duplex. Was a little disappointed to find dishes in the dishwasher, counters were dirty upon arrival. Other than that, everything was great.
We rented both sides - would love to rent it again - we'd like to suggest a "door/gate" be installed on the back deck to allow access to both sides.

We enjoyed this home and would stay again. Location is great, a few minute walk to either the beach or downtown. The space is great for a family to spread out. The collection of kid-friendly VHS tapes was cute, and our kids were baffled by them. We noticed several issues noted by other recent guests, I was disappointed these are not yet fixed:
Microwave doesn't heat anything - please provide us a temporary microwave. The drain in the master shower is very slow, your feet will be in standing water - gross, but it helped clean the sand from between my toes. The vertical blinds in both the living room and master are in disrepair, meaning difficult to open and vertical slats kept falling on the floor.
The last lowlight may sound strange, but the smoke detectors in the upstairs bedrooms look like they are original from the construction of the house over 20 years ago. While I don't anticipate a fire in the upstairs bedrooms, I would appreciate a smoke detector that is not "expired", they typically have a 10 year life? There was an up-to-date smoke detector in the hall outside the bedrooms, but, I'd really like to see up-to-date smoke detectors in all rooms...

Great getaway
The house offers many spaces for all the adults and kids to spread out. The bedrooms are spacious enough and close to bathrooms. The 5 minute walk to the beach is fantastic. Also it was nice to have a small view of the ocean from the living room and upstairs bedroom. It was very clean and had almost everything we needed. The shops nearby were helpful. The nearby Rockaway Big Tree Boardwalk was a fun walk for all ages. This was a great place to stay.

Nice, family friendly space with a few issues
Spacious house that more than accommodated two families of 4. Great proximity to the beach and all shops and eateries in town. House did have a funky smell upon arrival - needed to air out immediately. Microwave also did not work at all and outside garbage and recycling were all completely full so nowhere to offload our indoor waste.

With 3 floors and 4 bedrooms, we could spread out. Very tiny beach view from the 2 balconies, but we were just steps from a wonderful beach. Very clean
