Parking is a mild issue but there are far more positives.

Central location, and staff were able to give us directions to a good car park. We also ate at the hotel and the food was very good with generous portions.

Would have preferred a solid bathroom door. Ours had a full length clear glass panel. Putting some kind of frosting on it may be an idea to preserve modesty.

Situated in the very center of Whitehaven perfect to get around town and the Lakess. The restaurant was excellent cooking local produce to a very high standard and in the morning an excellent breakfast. the Chef and owner Lee was great and chatted to us along with front of house Tony nothing was to much trouble. A great break and we will be going back.

Parking was the only thing as we had to part in car park not part of the hotel but only a minuets walk. And of course the rain at this time of the year.

Wonderful Breakfast, Beautiful room, really kind, helpful and accommodating staff. Didn't want to leave.

Used the hotel for a base on a cycling break. The hotel staff were very helpful in storing our bycycles safely and securely . The room was comfortable with an excellent bathroom with walk-in shower and plenty of hot water and quality shampoos, shower gels etc. The breakfasts were excellent and staff very attentive. We dined in the restaurant and the food and service were very good. The presentation of our food was excellent. Attention to Covid issues was good and re-assuring. Plenty of sanitizer available and lots of good practice in the meal areas.

Only small negative was the lack of car parking on site which meant car had to be parked away from the hotel. Always a bit nervous leaving my car somewhere I don't know and private parking is not cheap.

Excellent hotel, very good service

The food was great. The staff were excellent. the room was spotless not a fault at all. The bed was comfy.

For the price you pay. The bar shuts early about 10pm. There is no parking at the hotel. The breakfast is restricted to 1hr and not a longer time scale. check out 10am and there is no option given for late check out give when checking in or online. cheaper hotel offer better breakfast options as in from 8-11 for breakfast and later check out about between 12-2 for the price you pay there should be better options.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great room (#6) with exceptionally good shower. Breakfast was excellent and we ate there one evening as well which was very good.

Nothing really - although on-site parking would be a plus. There is plenty nearby @£5 for 24 hours.
