Hosts were super nice and ready to take care of anything I needed. Inexpensive for such a large place. Right on main road so easy to get anywhere by car or by foot. Less that 10 min drive to the port & main tourist area. Less than 30 min walk to the same. Close to good restaurants, aways from the hordes or tourists flooding in from cruise ships. Would be happy to stay there again.

Water pressure was a little light but certainly not a problem. Road could be a bit noisy at night.

Huge apartment! Awesome balcony and sun deck! Beautiful tile throughout. Comfortable bed! Full size fridge and stove!The hosts were great and spoke English great! We scuba and shopped for 2 weeks with a rented scooter and had no problems. Great view of the main road and walking distance from food and groceries. This is our 3rd (and best!) visit to Cozumel.

Spacious appartment with separate living room and bed room (with bathroom). The living room has a cocking area with stove, sink, micro wave, refrigerator, etc.. Everything is nearly new, with nice furniture and white clean floor. In both the living and bed room are enormous large TV screens (I cannot say anything about channels and offers since I never switched them on). The bed room has a A/C minisplit. The owner family live in the same building and can be always contacted. Communication was very easy, their always helped with advice or things needed. I was grateful for having a bicycle the whole time of my stay at my disposal. The location was perfect for my stay since I could easily go to the centre and also to the beach at the SE part of the island. A super market, several small stores and a wide range of restaurants are in walking distance. I recommend the Mission (corner 55 Avenida Sur with Transversal, entrance from the 55 Avenida Sur) and the Taquería El Poblano (corner 90 Avenida sur with Transversal).

When I arrived, a young girl, supposedly the owner's daughter handed the key over to me and disappeared. No introduction, no advice. A small map with important points (super market, Oxxo, recommendable restaurants, etc.) would be a good idea for future visitors. The apartment does not offer a city view; all windows face to a very busy road, particularly in the morning between seven and nine, but also during the night. I learned this from the map before I arrived so I was not surprised (and I do not complain). People sensitive to noise should stay at another place or bring ear plugs. Cleanness has not reached the highest score since the kitchen area needs attention: the stove and micro wave were dirty and all crockery needs profound inspection (I cleaned everything prior to use). Lights in the bed room are not very sexy; some nightstand with a small light would appear more cosy. A place to store stuff (a closet or so) would be helpful. Women would appreciate a mirror in the bedroom. Light in the bathroom (over the mirror) is too small and the switch has a loose connection.
