I loved the location as it's immersed in the jungle and we could see the most breathtaking sunset. If you want to stay in Kandy is not the right place as it's 20 min by car, but if you prefer a hideaway it's perfect. The room was big and clean. Breakfast is a buffet so you can make your choice and the restaurant is in a nice patio where you can enjoy the nature. The style of the hotel is quite rich and feels like an old mansion, not too luxury but very nice

The restaurant is okish, prices are of course much higher than normal, as there's no alternative nearby

The staff was very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The room was also exceptionally clean and neat. The breakfast buffet didn't have a lot of options. However the food that was available was very nice. I didn't quite enjoy the set menu available for dinner. But we ordered a club sandwich which was fresh and delicious. Overall, we had a very peaceful stay there and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to escape the busy town and enjoy some peace and quiet time.

the sunset view on the top wing is incredible. hotel well designed , even for the little details in each corner. the rooms are big , especially the suit rooms , they are amazing . great views in each room.. nice swimming pool. worth the price they r charging . it's on a hill. so quite far away from every thing , but u could enjoy the it in a different way . because of it , you can see the nice views , quiet place with nature sounds , walk on the mountain roads .

only thing is that the road is not possible for big bus to come up, and since it's a small property they only have 1 tuktuk to help transfer.

Lovely hotel, staff were so friendly and welcoming. Amazing views from the double bedroom we had. The family bedroom was perfect, so spacious and good shower. Outside our rooms was a lounge area which was great to chill in the evening and play cards. Breakfast was ok, better when the staff knew we were coming and cooked fresh. Great location if you have a driver/transport. Very quiet area. Not far from Kandy city or the tourist attractions. There's 2 pools, but it rained when we stayed so didn't use them.

Was fine for us but there are quite a few steps up to the hotel. Staff help with baggage. The dinner on first night took forever but food was nice once we got it.

Too many stairs from our rooms to the swimming pool, Electricity plugs mostly needed convertors which was not available in the rooms

Evening meal wasn't great and a bit of a climb in a taxi to get there, but once your there it's well worth it

An amazing hotel with beautiful colonial-style interiors. The family room was very large and comfortable for 6-person familly. The location of the hotel is unbelievable. You are in the heart of a wonderful forest. In the evenings you can listen to the sounds of nature while relaxing on the terrace. Tasty breakfast and big supper included in price.
