La tranquilidad, muy acogedor, bien equipado, muy cerca del Parque Nacional (100 metros), el tour de avistamiento fue muy bueno, lo disfrutamos mucho.

El lugar es completamente cerrado y no hay vista hacia afuera o algún paisaje natural, sin embargo, es muy seguro y silencioso para descansar

Great bungalows. Lovely pool with water slide. Close to a small supermarket and restaurants. Short walk to the beach too. Had a great family stay here.

Overall, we thought the property was fantastic. We stayed in the 1-room bungalow which was behind the office area. We didn’t experience any of the noise other reviewers mentioned. In fact, the who property was quite relaxed and quiet. The pool is very nice, and you’ll never see a lot of people there as the property only has 5 cabins on it. The insides of the cabin are nice, physically. You do feel like you are in a cabin. We didn’t cook anything while we were there, but you could. The people working with front desk are fantastic. They are very nice and knowledgeable. More importantly, they’ll save your life. Why? They gave us information on the daily tide charts, and you should pay attention to them. Speaking of, Uvita beach is simply not usable at high tide. Don’t even pay the money (even though it is cheap) to go at high tide. Get up early, and get there right when the park opens. This is when you can go on the “what tail” area. I highly suggest taking some old shoes or some really good water shoes. The reason being is there are some amazing tide pools at low tide in the middle of all the rocks on the “whale tail”. You have to literally climb over a lot of rocks to get to them, and it’s not exactly easy, but it’s rewarding! I saw eels, crabs, pufferfish, some yellow fish, and several small bright blue fish.

The beds are not good, at least in our experience. This may differ by which room you book? As for our 1-bedroom cabin, the mattress was very flat. I am talking about 6-inches or so. In addition, anytime you move on it, it moves and squeaks so bad it will wake up your partner. The bed frames are rustic log cabin style so it is hard to reinforce those. Note to the owner(s), get rid of these bed frames (and mattresses), and do it right. Get new ones. It doesn’t matter if the bed frame is not part of the rustic look. The #1 thing you need to do is make sure your bed frames are solid and your mattresses are somewhat decent.

Nice bungalow, very good situated. Free laundry, very friendly staff which give us lots of useful Tourist information. Free safe parking, nice pool area with sun beds.

The cabin was very nice. Very large, well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, comfy beds, good location right next to the beach. Rooms are not cleaned whilst you're there, you are left to your own devices. Decent sofa for relaxing on of an evening.

The town itself is nothing to speak of, you're just there for the beach, which is fine.

This was a lovely little house I rented for two nights, charmingly furnished, clean, quiet and with everything provided regarding appliances and linens, AC and plenty of hot water. There is safe locked parking. It's a locked facility from 10 pm to 7 am, a key is provided for the after hours, The best part is one can walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, no need to pay/hunt for secure parking. It's easy to find, good access.

It's not a big thing for most people, however the pool ( very lovely and clean) was chlorinated and I have allergies.

The bungalows are great, you have a real house with two sleeping rooms and a big leaving room with open kitchen which is well equipped. The swing pool is great and the garden is clean and very pleasant. The bungalows situated just 2 min walk from the beautiful ballenas beach, most beautiful beach I ever saw. The staff and the owner are very kind and nice, they did our laundry. I recommend this place very much!

Since it's basically a log cabin, you could hear everything outside. It was only noticeable first thing in the morning and later at night. Minor issue.

The position close to everything, the well equipped big apartment close to the pool, shops and beach, furnishing, clean and cosy apartment with a/c.

Being right besides the laundry room and reception, you could hear everything as long as they were open up until 8 pm.

Big clean and nice bamboo bungalows. One of the best stays we had in Costa Rica. Excellent location, walking distance to national park and some good restaurants. Nice staff that offered laundry service and a cosy and nice pool area. Really recommended!

This place is very clean and private. The staff makes sure everything is taken care of. No bugs or safety concerns. Pool is big and partly shaded when you want to get out of the sun. Plenty of birds to see too.

The bungalows were cozy, clean and spacious. They had closet space, which was nice as we were there for three weeks. We didn't have a car, but took bikes to get to the beach and the store. There's a super-mini very close for small items. When we needed to, the hotel called a taxi for us. We cooked most of our meals, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The staff was the most friendly and helped us solve a few travel related problems.

We were in the bungalow closest to the road. If you plan to be there over the weekend, request #2, as it is not on the main road which can be quite loud over the weekend. We sleep with the ac off and windows open. If you are an ac sleeper, it might not matter.

A great location on the main street near the entrance to the national park and the beach, with nice restaurants nearby. Very helpful staff - they arranged everything for a great whale-watching trip, and even proactively offering umbrellas when it started raining, knowing we're about to go out for dinner. A superb pool. Spacious, well-equipped comfortable cabins.

Some issues in design - like, the outdoor seating area at the cabin is in fact a part of the parking lot, or the fact that the windows in the bedroom don't open (not everyone likes to sleep with the aircon on).

great stay! perfect location, great service and nice house, if you are traveling with you family. the only improvements would be a queen bed in the master bedroom and making sure that everything works; our fans did not work, and they could only fix one at the time because the second one was too expensive (whereas we paid a lot more than the costs of the fans 😉).

The villas are fully equipped, including a kitchen and air conditioning in every room. The location of the hotel couldn't be better, it's only a few minutes walking away from the national park, restaurants and tour shops. Big pool with grill areas.
