Large room, clean, big bathroom, good lighting, good breakfast, great locking room on property for bicycles with tools and pump, helpful staff, secure parking, near grocery store, terrific restaurant 1 block away (Old Damascus)

A bit out of old city- across bridge. We had bikes ...1 mile? - ride so no problem

The rooms were very hot, could have done with at least a fan. Distance to town centre quite far if you have not own transport, but you can catch a bus a few blocks away.

The room was big and there is a sofa where easily an extra person can sleep. The bed was comfortable. Quiet place, we could rest.

Old infrastructure; normal key instead of card, furniture, corridors. The corridor was really cold. The first night I didn’t have hot water. When I arrived the toilet paper was almost empty, next day they cleaned the room but didn’t put more toilet paper so I had to ask in the reception to get more. Breakfast was not included. One of the sheets was not very clean, it had a bloodstain. The curtains are almost transparent, no privacy there. Only option is to use what I call the “zombie protection” which was manual by the way (old infrastructure). Overall not great value for what you pay here.

Great getaway hotel with parking. Comfy beds, Dog friendly. Great Turkish restaurant a few doors a way. You know what they say, eat with the locals

Don’t be put off by the surrounding. Easy walk into the city center.

Perfect if you're on a bike trip. The couple who run the place are really nice. Close to center

Can be noisy on weedays and saturday from 9am due to near parking from supermarkets.
