we were here in winter, with the possibility of great skiing in several nearby resorts. The location is absolutely quiet and nice views of Grimming.

The building is a traditional house, and when people move around, sometimes something squeaks... It's not a big deal, but I don't think that's completely out of the question.

The price/performance ratio probably corresponds. Dear owner. For undemanding travelers ok.

The apartment is not separated from the corridor by a door. However, each room can be locked separately if necessary. A slight smell from the ventilation in the bathroom and a little unpredictable alternating hot and cold water when showering.

The owner provided a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. As we were traveling in Europe for a month we had two large pieces of luggage and asked if she could provide something to put the bags off the floor. She and her husband provided the necessary and perfect furniture to accommodate our request. We had fresh tomatoes every morning along with the typical continental style breakfast of cold meat and cheese. We were quite comfortable and the lodging suited us very well as we spent little time in the room beyond the evening hours. However, there is no lift to the second floor room which might be a problem for some travelers and others might miss the lack of coffee/tea in the room. The accommodation is a farm and there was more than adequate room for our rental car. However, they do have a VERY large dog, which might be intimidating for some guests as it never became accustom to us during our seven night stay. Photo is view from the room.

We found the pre-payment with no refund if cancelled ten days prior to scheduled arrival something new and off-putting. But we also saw similar stipulations on other properties this season. I presume that this is somehow related to Covid. Prior to our departure for travel to Europe we had a medical situation that caused a weeks' delay. As it was, it did not interfere with our arrival at this property. However during that week we sent several messages which went unanswered until we declared that we would arrive on schedule. At the time I felt ignored and why not; they already had their payment.

Staff was exceptionally nice and the cleanliness was from another world.

Breakfast was a bit lacking, but what they had was fine. The mattresses were worn out, they where too soft from usage.

The location was ideal for our planned daily trips. We loved the surroundings, the tranquility. Our host was really kind and helpful.

Very nice apartment in 2nd floor of the house. Living room and bedroom both with balcony. Nice room with 2 beds for kids, fully equipped kitchen. Perfect communication with Mrs. Elisabeth.

The room was very clean but the bathroom was too tiny. The cleanliness was excellent, although there was a little bit too much room fragrance used everywhere. The breakfast was perfect and the family was very kind.

As mentioned above, the bathroom was a bit tiny and the bed was broken with a very used mattress with worn out springs. It is impossible to have a good sleep on such a soft surface. I recommend to replace it.
