Haven in South Haven
Posizione, posizione, posizione. La nostra casa a South Haven è in una posizione perfetta. È in un quartiere più tranquillo di North Beach, ma a solo una breve passeggiata (5 -10 minuti) dalla spiaggia o dal centro cittadino. La casa è una casa a 2 piani con 5 camere da letto e 2 bagni. Ci sono 3 camere da letto al piano superiore e 2 camere da letto al piano di sotto. Al piano superiore si dispone di una camera matrimoniale con un letto king size e una cabina armadio. L'armadio è abbastanza grande da poter raddoppiare come nursery insieme ai tuoi effetti personali (si adatta facilmente a una culla o un pacco e gioca) per quelli di voi con i bambini. Il maestro ha anche un bel mazzo per il caffè del mattino o il sole del pomeriggio. C'è una seconda camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale e una terza camera da letto più piccola con un set di letti a castello per i bambini. Un bagno completo e una zona lavanderia completano il piano di sopra.
Al piano principale c'è un soggiorno / sala da pranzo di buone dimensioni e una cucina recentemente rinnovata. Il livello principale continua con un bagno completo e due camere da letto. Una camera da letto ha un letto full size con un doppio rotelle. La seconda camera ha un futon full size. Tutte le camere sono dotate di armadi / spazio di archiviazione per oggetti personali.
La parte anteriore della casa ha una veranda coperta con sedie a dondolo per rilassarsi, visitare e osservare l'attività del quartiere. Dietro c'è un ponte sul retro della casa, una griglia a carbone e uno spazio in giardino per cucinare e divertirsi.
Amiamo assolutamente il quartiere amichevole e la facilità di camminare o andare in bicicletta ovunque.
Park Ave. è una strada verso il ponte da North Shore. Puoi anche vedere il Lago Michigan dal ponte della camera da letto principale. Packard Park, Dyckman Park e Oak Park sono letteralmente dietro l'angolo. La posizione tranquilla è ottima quando vuoi rilassarti dopo una giornata trascorsa in spiaggia, o dopo aver fatto shopping in centro, ed è anche abbastanza tranquillo da chiamarlo una sera presto se scegli di farlo.
I vicini su entrambi i lati della casa e dall'altra parte della strada sono persone meravigliose e amichevoli, quindi non esitare a dire "ciao" e per favore sii rispettoso delle loro proprietà.
Un nuovo vantaggio è il noleggio di scooter in loco solo per i nostri ospiti. Con il parcheggio un problema importante in SoHa, è molto divertente e comodo saltare su uno scooter e controllare South Haven. Abbiamo 4 scooter motorizzati 50cc che noleggeremo per la settimana. Più scooter noleggi, migliore è l'affare. MODO più economico che affittare una città. Non è richiesta l'approvazione del ciclo sulla patente di guida.

Enjoyed our weekend stay. Clean, walking distance close to everything including the beach. Well stocked. Very comfy beds. Owner kept in touch and was easily accessible if needed (don’t need to contact them because we were very satisfied). Can’t wait to return.

This house was even better than the listing! Stocked with everything you’d need, super spacious, clean, and really well maintained property. Location is top notch & the golf cart was an awesome way to get around town. Host was very attentive & quick to respond. We will definitely be back!!

We chose South Haven for our summer vacation because of its close proximity to where one of our children live. We had no knowledge of the area as we usually travel south and felt it would be a “good enough” choice. It was sooo much more than that. We fell in love. With the house, the neighborhood, the beach, the town…everything. The house was perfect for our family of 5 (3 “adult” children). So clean and had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary utensils and gadgets for cooking and the grocery store (Meijer) was only a mile away. The short, easy walk to the beach was taken many times over the week. We did a mix of driving and walking into town and both were easy and the walk was particularly enjoyable. The use of the golf cart to take to the beach or into town if we were carrying things was a nice touch and much appreciated. We drove to trailheads and berry farms that were less than 10 minutes away. We used the bikes to tour around one day, which was fun but proved to me how out of shape i am (hello hills😬) The whole week was really thoroughly enjoyable. We have done house rentals many times and honestly this host was top notch. Steve was always available, answered questions quickly. He even offered some information on the activities of the Blueberry Festival that was taking place during our stay. We could not have asked for a better experience and we WILL be back.

We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years, but this house was the best! The hosts obviously put great consideration into making sure the house was well stocked with everything, super clean, and comfortable. We had a family of nine (4 adults, 5 kids) and we had enough room. Use of the golf cart with the beach sticker was a highlight! Quiet location just moments from everything.

We had a short weekend stay at this property to celebrate a family birthday. There were 5 adults and 4 kids in our group and we all fit perfectly. Everyone had their own bed, and we really enjoyed the common space as well. The location couldn't be better just a quick walk to the beach or town. Steve, the owner, was very responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely be back, and for a much longer trip next time!

Great location !!! Easy walk to several beaches which were less crowded then North beach and also a quick walk to downtown. Added bonus was the golf cart making everything accessible. The house was clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Plenty of beds all comfortable. Owner Steve very accommodating and responsive to calls. Only change would be to make this a Friday to Friday rental so you can have a weekend. Give this home 5 stars!!!

South Haven is my family's favorite to unwind from work, school, other!! Steve was great to work with & we enjoyed their cottage near the beach! Plan on returning in 2023.

Another great stay!
This was my family's second time staying here, and once again, it did not disappoint. Upon arrival, the house was spotless and in great condition.
The owner was very responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. On the first day in the evening, we found the golf cart had a flat tire. He showed up the very next morning and fixed it so we could continue to use it throughout the week.
If I could give one recommendation for improvement it would be to add in thicker blinds or maybe install some black out curtains. The blinds that are installed keep people from looking in, but they don't much for keeping a room dark.
We hope to be back someday and would definitely stay here again!

My family (husband and our three young adult “kids”), plus my mom, dad and aunt all stayed for a week at this property recently. It was very clean, had everything we needed, including use of the golf cart, which was very nice and handy for hauling gear to/from the beach, and it was in the perfect location with easy access to the beaches and downtown. The living room area was a little small when we were all using it and our 6’6” boys didn’t fit very well jn the bunk bed room, but other than that, it was a great place to stay, it was nice having five bedrooms and everyone had a bed to sleep in. Steve was very nice to work with and his communication was excellent. We had a great time staying there.

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful experience. The property was in great condition and had a wide selection of kitchen essentials. The laundry and sink area was perfect for after the beach. Having the golf cart was entertainment for the kids, car-saving, and life-saving for the adults for beach trips. This was a last minute booking and I'm so glad we found it and South Haven!

This house has a great kitchen, lots of pots and pans all clean and in good working order. The kitchen also had good prep areas and counter space, we used their mini-dishwasher, it was great. Their outdoor grill was also clean and worked perfectly (a rarity in rentals).
The bedrooms are generous and had plenty of storage available. Even the front porch rockers were super comfortable. Perfect for families too.
Steve was quick to respond to any questions and sent all the information we needed before arrival. Check in was a breeze. We highly recommend this location

Wonderful home and location in South Haven!
I am shocked that I was able to book this adorable and comfortable home so late in the summer? (Lucky for me they had a cancelation.) House has everything you need both inside and out. The golf cart with a beach pass is a fantastic bonus. Even without it, their are several beaches within a short walk or bike ride (bikes provided), and the neighborhood is lovely. Perfect place to rest from our busy lives. We spent time on the front porch, puzzles and board games on a stormy day and grilled out in the back. The owners are super friendly, helpful and accessible. We would definitely stay here again, if you don't beat us to it!

Best House in SoHa
My family loved this house! Very clean and communicating with the owner was super easy. They had extra toys and books for the kids which was great. The kitchen was really well-stocked and we very much enjoyed the golf cart.

This house is fully stocked! As a mom of two littles, there were plenty of towels and space for everyone! The boys loved tooling around town in the golf cart and the beach was a super short walk. For anyone with a family, this house is perfect!

Lovely home in quiet, friendly neighborhood. Around the corner from 3 beaches! Walk or take the golf cart! All the amenities and attention to detail can be found in this well kept home that is decorated with coordinating colors and beach themes. The flowers and landscape: very pretty ! The wrap around porch with rocking chairs : inviting and soothing to rock little ones. Ceiling fans , plenty of indoor lighting and natural sunlight add to the relaxing ambience.

Great Weekend Getaway
I came to South Haven to get away from Chicago for some fresh air and for a nice relaxing beach weekend with my fiancée and two other couples and a 1 yr old. This House was perfect for what we needed. We were close to the beach, downtown shopping, a few minute drive to grocery stores, and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Highlights were the large front porch for enjoying morning coffee, the master bedroom complete with balcony, large walk-in closet and memory foam King bed, and the short walk to the beach access for a beautiful sunset over Lake Michigan. We were especially excited to use the golf cart as a fun way to get around town. Our only mistake was not planning a longer stay because South Haven has so much to offer. We will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely home at the Lake
This home is a perfect getaway. The location is fantastic for anything you wish to do or frankly do nothing at all. The home is comfortable, has all needed amenities and a front porch where you can just enjoy the neighborhood without mingling given our weird Covid times.

This is our 9th year year staying in South Haven and the best property we have stayed at. Everything was right from the day we arrived. The first night we ran dry on the propane tank and Steve had it replaced in 2 minutes with no down time ! The Best ....thank you !

I traveled with my family of four small children. The house was clean had plenty of room for sleeping, eating and play. The proximity to the beach was a plus and the golf cart made it even easier to cart four kids and all of their items. The extras - beach chairs, umbrella, towels - were much appreciated and it made it so much easier on us. The owner, Steve, was very responsive. We had a great trip and would stay again!

We enjoyed our week in Michigan. The weather was great and the house was perfect for us. I hope to stay on Park Avenue again sometime!
