couldn’t get a drink after the bar closed. breakfast service was very poor & under-resourced.

Location is amazing. Room was too. Everything felt like quality.

Restaurant is not quite as good as it was last year. It is new and they are still working out the details I think.

Beautiful Hotel, very homely. Decorated beautifully. Staff were exceeding helpful and most charming. Nothing was too much trouble. No complaints there. Great location, which we already knew about.

We had booked a Superior Room - it was the only ordinary bedroom left on booking.com - eye-wateringly expensive, even by on booking.com. The bedroom area and bathroom were much smaller than expected and rather crowded with furniture and many bits and bobs in the bathroom. Navigating the room was a task. Also the wardrobe area was far too small. The shaver point in the bathroom was not working and the fridge was not particularly cold.
