The staff was very lovely and welcoming. Everyone was helpful and my accommodations were beautiful! I got what I needed!

The dining did not meet my expectations. I was at this resort a couple years ago, and had absolutely incredible dining experiences. I wrote an email to the manager of the food and beverage program, expressing my gratitude for how each meal made my trip even more meaningful and memorable. There used to be two options for breakfast, now there was only one and it wasn't as good, and all of the menus have been reduced significantly and limited in offerings compared to my previous visit. The food I ate was good, but nothing like the last time. Not even close. The bikes were also in very poor shape. More often than not, they were squeaky, or the bike seat wouldn't stay in place or at the proper height, or the kick stand wouldn't work.

the all inclusive package was too expensive and we didn’t get a breakdown when we received the reservation confirmation, so it was an unexpected surprise when we checked out and got a much higher bill than expected - the all inclusive package is not a good idea

Lovely resort near Playa del Carmen. Used the gym daily, the beach was well catered and enjoyed using the bikes around the resort. The food in all the restaurants was very good, breakfast buffet was amazing.

I loved the beach, the climatized pool, the friendliness of the staff, the food. Everything was great.

I wished there had been bikes for small kids with two side wheels and maybe some activities, like night shows.

All the staff were amazing and helpful. Casa Amate and Sotavento delivered some of the best meal experiences I have had in my life! (Coming from someone who has enjoyed world class meals) the experience was beautiful all around.

Due to the covid test requirements to re-enter the US, I think it would be helpful for the staff to inform guests about the testing location and/or coordinate getting tested, upon arrival at the hotel. *I was not informed about the test site when I checked in at the property.
