Beautiful apartment and best restaurant at the bottom of the steps. (Nice & Easy)

I have to tell that staying in this apartment was my worst experience ever .Two days before my arrival I filled the form of approximately time of arrival. Next day I had a phone call from women asking me to tell her exactly time of arrival . I explained that I am arriving with coach from south of Greece and as I am arriving afternoon it is difficult to tell her exactly time as it is Athens and on afternoons depends all on traffic but it will be on time that I put on form . Next day of my travel I got few massages on my personal account on what's up and few calls insisting on same . When I was near Athens I informed that I am near and will need to take taxi to accommodation. In generally I don't use taxi I prefer public transport but because of pressure I decided to do it . When I waiting on taxi I got another phone call from lady who spoke to me loud and rudly telling me I am late which was not true as it was 16:20 and I said will arrive till 17:00 . I arrived at apartment at 16:45 and was waiting infront of door but nobody was there . Then I give a phone call to lady to inform that I arrived and she answered that I was late and she left place . But I was hearing someone speaking near . I saw the lady who was speaking to me on corner . I asked her will she open me apartment. She shout on my first on Greek language which I understand and then she continues shouting using language that I don't understand. She opened me apartment throwing me a keys on table and leave continues shouting and without explaining me anything ( how to unlock door of building,air-conditione settings) . I need to asked neighbors for help . On thay of my leaving I forgot my new pair of expensive pajamas there . That day I returned straight to my home . I contacted owner telling him even the place where I left it but he informed me that they didn't found anything. It happened to me few time to forget something in accommodation but always was posted to me .

slight leaking from the air con and the tv was not viewable from the bedroom.

location is very nice, Kolonaki is a very good area. 20 mins walk to Centre, Acropolis and others. property is located upside of a hill, so you need to be able to clim. great restaurants and bars in the area, try Minnie the Moocher! Layout and decoration of the small space is very well done, compliments!

I would have liked some loungers for the terrace, and a microwave would have been handy - both nice to have but not essential!

really clean everywhere bed really confortable the appartment is situated in a really calm neighborhood well situated in Athens

Internet connexion very instable, and not available from the bedroom if salt, paper and sugar were available, olive oil was missing coffee capsules not suitable for coffee machine, tea bag not available the host offer to book a taxi from/to the airport at 50€ while the regular price is 35€

There is nothing that anyone would like about this apartment / studio. I'm really surprised about the other reviews which got me booking it, big mistake

Description said ground floor and it was a basement. When checked in the studio was not cleaned and I had to leave and come back few hours later. The apartment even after the cleaning was extremely dirty. The problems started when I reasilsed that the heating was not working and the studio was so cold, I messaged the management with no results. The second day also the water was cold so I had to make shower with freezing cold water and again the management showed no response or any kind of respect to their guests. This was the worst stay of my life. It was a nightmare.

only the location which is safe and very central

1. room was not cleaned at all! human hair in the shower and sink and worst of all we found used soap in the bathroom door! unacceptable condition especially in Covid era 2. we were trying all five days of our stay to contact the landlord and fix the issue of heating. after several calls we were told to fix the temperature through a screen (even though the temperature was set at 35 degrees the room was cold). apparently the landlord could not accept that we thought it was cold as we were told that outside was 8 degrees so having 19 degrees in the room was fine!!!???

staff behaviour was bad and not helpful. also the walk in shower hole was full of hair and dirt and that caused the water to float all over the appartment

Nice apartment in the center if Athens. Great location, with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Some furniture needed some dusting. An espresso machine was available, but there weren’t any capsules.

The appartment is very nice and clean. Giola is very accomodated and helpfull. We recommend this house.

The place was very clean and comfortable, and the location was within a walking distance from all the attractions. I appreciated how calm the area was.

The only thing I’d have liked more is more light coming into the flat. As it’s located in the ground floor, natural light doesn’t come in very much. I was using lighting even during the day.

Location was fantastic, we found a lovely little breakfast spot at the bottom of the steps and the apartment is just a short walk from Plaka, where you can find so many bars and restaurants!

We’re used to staying in a king bed, so the ONLY issue was that the bed was a little small.
