Very welcoming hosts and great facilities. Cleaned regularly and very comfy beds. Easy walk to popular St. Lawrence Gap area with lots of restaurants. Close to a great beach and easy access to public transport for getting around. Food shop with everything is a short walk away.

Exactly what we expected Lovely clean room .very close to beach & all Dover beach amenities

Everything was well organized from the moment Ron picked me up at the airport until he took me back. Iris is an amazing woman who makes you feel right at home. My accommodation was very clean and comfortable with regular cleaning and linen changes. I can't say enough about the wonderful vacation I had. Located close to the Gap and beach, 3 minute walk. All you want close by.

Everyone reading my review will want to book with Iris at the Dolphin Inn and I won't be able to get a reservation. LOL 😆.

It was super clean and spacious. Iris made a great job making sure everything was spot on.

I loved everything about this place....the apartment was clean and fresh. It had everything you needed. The beds were comfortable and there was more than enough storage and space. The balcony was lovely for relaxing and nice and quiet. We did have visitors (the monkeys) and it was brilliant to just sit and watch them. Location wise I don't think could get any better. 5 minute walk from the beach, supermarket and bars and restaurants. Last but not least the family who run this are just so friendly and helpful. Thankyou so much for making barbados amazing. I shall be back!

Location of Dolpin Inn was excellent close enough to beach and bars but far enough away not to hear the nightlife. We had No 1 apartment which was more than adequately kitted out for self catering. Nice balcony to watch the sun go down. Monkeys most mornings in the trees, and some mornings on our balcony. Iris was a great host and nothing was to much trouble, rooms cleaned twice a week. Highly recommend if down the south of the island.

The rooms are modest. It is very well located close to the beach and restaurants. The hosts are great.

Everything, nice comfortable bed and everything was clean. Iris and her son are lovely, really enjoyed our stay. Dover beach is also fab.

Everything - our room was perfect, the shared kitchen facilities meant we met other guests to chat too especially as a number of the other guests like us were going to cricket. But most of all Iris the owner and her family were so welcoming, friendly and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble for her. She answered all our questions and gave us so much information that helped our stay run so smoothly. We even stayed on a couple of extra nights as our room was available. Ron her Son took us and another guest to the airport for our flight home which was extremely helpful. All in all great hostess, great accommodation, and a great location, Dover Beach nearby with plenty of cheap eateries nearby too. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Iris

Iris, our host, was very hospitable and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. She was full of helpful advice and tips for making the most of our trip. The location of the property is 5-7min away from Dover Beach, in St Lawrence's Gap, which is one of the liveliest locations on the island. The room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning (for 5 usd/day). The common areas were spacious, and the garden was the home of three turtles and also occasionally visited by green monkeys! Seeing them so close was one of the highlights of our stay.

The living room could've used a hoover, as there was sand and other crumbs on the carpet and sofas. Some of the kitchen utensils were a bit outdated or not working properly. But these are small details that didn't impact our enjoyment of our holiday. Tbh it was all very good value for money.

Very friendly, nice to mix with other travellers

Guesthouse is located in peacefull local neighborhood near the Dover beach and restaurants. Iris and Ron are nice, guesthouse is well-equipped and thre are turtles in the garden.

They had full equipped kitchen. There was room for all you own groceries and things. Nice shared livingroom witch couches and tables. the owner Iris was so nice to us and helpful and sweet!

Fantastic stay at The Dolphin Inn. Perfectly located. Dover beach a 5 minute stroll away with local bars, restaurants and shops. The Gap a 15 minute stroll away! We stayed in apt 3 which has a large balcony looking across some land and has palm trees and other fauna that attracts the wildlife! During our weeks stay we encountered parakeets, green monkeys and numerous humming birds! The apt and location is also very peaceful, just far enough away not to be disturbed by taxi horns and any music from the local bars. Iris our host is a lovely, joyful lady and very friendly! From the moment we booked the communication was brilliant and speedy. Our collection from the airport was also arranged by Iris and her Son, Ron who was waiting for us also very friendly. Myself and my Son could not fault any part of our stay at The Dolphin Inn Guesthouse and should we return we will 100% stay again. The picture I have added was whilst I was reviewing!!! I just couldn't get the camera on quick enough as it walked by _ on the wall to the right! Oh and the WIFI 100% and always around the 4 bar mark! Thanks Iris x

From the photos on booking.com we thought we’d booked a self catering room, not shared kitchen facilities.

Well equipped kitchen and common area you can use for relaxed breakfasts. Convenient located. Good beds and my room was the whole time mosquito free (which was not the case in other hotels / B&B's). Iris, the host, is taking time for every guest and friendly and helpful guide in case of any questions /recommendations with regard to the Island.
