We had a (short) but fun stay…the house is very comfortable—VERY nicely done! The hosts were great. A quiet house in the country, that will comfortably accommodate a large group!

Our stay here was fantastic! I would highly recommend if you are in the area! Kerri was very responsive and informative! They were also so kind and accommodating as we were traveling with a 1 year old and allowed an early check in and had a pac-n-play for us! The home was clean and had just about anything you could think of needing on hand! It is evident they have put a lot of time, care, and attention into the home. The place itself is very peaceful and beautiful!

Needing a reset from city life, I came across Kerri and Dave's farm home advertising just that, and it totally delivered and more! The home sat on beautiful rolling hills with view of cows in the field. The fresh air and quiet of country life did us well. Inside was nicely decorated with a rustic feel and furnished every ammenity we needed. The hosts couldnt have been kinder answering our questions and making check in and check out easy. We definitely hope to come back.

My family and friends were coming together for my grandmothers birthday in McCook and I just loved coming back to this house after a long day. It’s nicely isolated and private with stunning views of the surrounding views. Heard several bobwhites in the mornings and it’s just the perfect distance from McCook. The yard was great for our dogs and for enjoying the summer evenings. This house had the perfect amount of space for us and everything was so clean! The kitchen truly had everything we needed and they had lots of towels and blankets available for our comfort. We will definitely be staying here in the future!

If you crave peace and quiet you'll only have the cows and quail for company at this solitary retreat. A brilliant cut of SW Nebraska, especially if you want to see the stars at night. I highly recommend this property. Located near McCook off a peaceful gravel road, this is a simple, clean home with two ground-level bedrooms and room for more upstairs. The owners were extremely communicative and kind during our stay. Bring your own snacks and settle in - this is a great spot for hunters, travellers, or locals.

For us it was a great place to stay. Very accommodating, really had everything you would need. Coming from the city life and some of us are from an island life, it was a great place to quiet down and just enjoy. It's definitely on our list to stay again! Thank You for your wonderful home!

My husband, three boys (6, 3, 3), our dog, and myself stayed for a week. The accommodations were perfect for us and we also were able to celebrate Easter there! Lots of fun things for the kids and a fenced yard for our dog. Short drive to Red Willow for fishing and hunting. A great place to getaway and enjoy the outdoors.

It was a great stay, with beautiful views, space for the kids to run, and an opportunity to just rewind.

We enjoyed the wide open spaces and quietness of this property. Fabulous bright red sunset, cool breezes in the morning. Zoey our pup, enjoyed roaming through the yard, talking with cattle and respecting the farm cats. Rustic and charming, this is a wonderful getaway.

This renovated farm house provided a great, quiet spot for meeting with family from Iowa and Colorado. The fenced yard was great for our dog! Good communication and easy check-in!

If you are looking for a very clean house with an amazing yard and great view this is your place. The owners are very accommodating and have put together an exceptional house. My girlfriend and I and our 4 dogs enjoyed sitting outside watching the sunset every night. Highly recommend this place.

This was like a visit to grandma’s house! So quiet, clean, restful and relaxing! My dogs loved the fenced-in yard and I loved the sound of the wind in the trees and the super comfortable bed!

What terrific place to visit if you seek peace and quiet as I did. Clean as a whistle. Kerri and Dave define the word “work”. Wonderful young folks. I stayed four days and would go back any time. The pictures do a good job of defining the property. It has a fence around the perimeter of the lot the house sets on. Nice grass grows inside the perimeter to the house so if you have a dog as I did they stay clean. There are no hidden surprises. The air conditioning works great and the beds are first class. There is a garage if needed and a propane bbq and a smoker. Roosters and barn cats abound around and there are several steers in a pasture near by. McCook is a very pleasant rural town of about 8000 with all anyone would need except maybe a black coat and tie. Kerri can answer any questions you might have. I heard lots of Pheasants and saw lots of Bobwhite’s, deer and if you are a birdwatcher get out your binoculars and notebook. You can walk till your legs fall off and never see a soul. If they would sell me the house I would buy it in a heartbeat. Russ July 2020

Kerri made it very easy and provided the information ahead of time which was helpful! We did get a little lost trying to find the house, but not bad. The house and property was comfortable and clean. Just as described online. They have thoughtfully stocked the house with items that you may need - for many different scenarios- basically- very thoughtful all around. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

Reminded me of my grandpa’s farm. Peaceful country solitude yet minutes away from town or reservoir. Great host and cute farmhouse.
