A stylish Dar , seconds to the Medina and a short walk to kasbah markets. Marie treats her guests almost like family members - so welcoming and accomodating. The rooftop breakfast was amazing with incredible views. Rooms were comfortable and the small touches made it a special stay. Highly recommend

An extraordinary riad in the heart of the old part of Tangier, right at the gate to the Kasbah. Very nice and helpful owner, fantastic and very rich breakfasts on the terrace with a beautiful view. Room and bathroom very clean and cozy, very beautiful decorations! I definitely recommend!

Marie was so helpful and welcoming she arranged a tour & taxi pick up for us. the breakfast was fantastic and having it on the beautiful terrace made it even better. it’s a great location we would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Really central location in the old town and felt very welcomed. Maria was knowledgeable of the area and gave us some great suggestions. Loved the breakfast and the view from the terrace was lovely in the morning.

The owner, Marie, took excellent care of us and clearly cares a great deal about her guests. She sent a lovely taxi driver to meet us at the airport and had all the kind advice we needed. Dar Sami is lovely, an oasis of calm and relaxation, we had two very comfortable nights rest there, the beds are excellent. It's really well situated next to the main gate of the Kasbar and at the top of the main street where many of the eateries are. We'd highly recommend staying there.

Marie, our hostess is an incredible woman who made her guests feel like family. The breakfasts were delicious: fresh squeezed orange juice, yummy fruit salads, lovely warm Moroccan breads, fresh cheese, yoghurt, honey, jam and a lovely almond/honey/argan oil paste I slathered on the bread. If you are hungry she'll even scramble an egg for you (organic). In other words, something for everyone. She kept a fire going in the fireplace as it was cold. She had a little corner where we could make tea or coffee and supplied some yummy Moroccan pastries to eat with it. The room was super comfortable. The bathroom worked well - although as an American I am still getting used to using hand held showers without drowning the bathroom :). She helped us with restaurants, directions, taxis, suggestions for short trips, you name it. The dar is located right at the foot of the kasbah so you are close but don't have to get lost in the kasbah to find your hotel. Although it was too cold to eat on the terrace, the view was incredible - north, south , east and west.

Honestly, we loved everything about Dar Sami. We will return to Tangier and would not consider living anywhere else.

Marie was such a gracious host! She was accommodating and provided us with fantastic recommendations for food. The location itself was easy to find and affords a spectacular view on the city. Would have stayed here longer if we could. I would most definitely recommend for anyone staying in Tangier. Marie, on te remercie infiniment!

The room can get a little humid after the shower. Just make sure to crack the window open.

Medina location right next to the kasbah, lovely accommodations with moorish feel, marble staircase to romantic roof terrace with stunning Tangier view( night view was spectacular), and Mary( the Owner) was charming and gracious; it was perfect!

The owner was very friendly and incredibly helpful, gave me a tour around and also told me the quickest and easiest way to get things I needed nearby. The location is also great being so close to the medina, most things are walking distance. I also got the breakfast on one day which was very nice, I recommend.

The room was a little noisy, but that's to be expected for the location.

Conveniently located with amazing views over the city. Marie is a caring hostess and helped us book taxis etc. She gave us guidance for sight-seeing and restaurants. Delicious breakfast with the perfect boiled egg!
