We arrived at the hotel to a very warm welcome, an upgrade (the Churchill Suite; apparently he stayed in the room) and a welcome call from the hotel manager. The view from the room was amazing. The hotel has a killer position on the waterfront and could be the city's premier hotel with an overhaul. Our hotel experience was a series of hits and misses. What saved my overall impression of the Marina Bay Hotel was the assistance from hotel porter Joed (apologies if I don't have the correct spelling). It was the first day of Eid Mubarak and we left the hotel to try and find a sim card (roaming wasn't working on my phone) and pick up a booked hire car near the train station. We returned to the hotel with neither, having been told by people we asked that the hire car office would be closed. We couldn't call and another hotel on our walk did but said they didn't answer and would definitely be closed. We were told by the Marina Bay reception that they couldn't call a mobile?!?! But Joed asked us to follow him and walked us through streets til he found us a vendor who sold us a sim. By that time I was able to ring the hire car number to discover they had opened late in an obscure office and our problem was solved. Thank you Joed.

Hotel decor is an attempt at funky as it trades its name on past celebrities who have stayed there: but it misses. Our suite was huge but the decor was disjointed and it felt a little cold. Restaurant was very dated. No real welcome or breakfast instruction. We just found a table and headed to the buffet. Only egg offering was omelette. Other options were good.

Muy centrico y muy moderno quizas demasiado para mi gusto. Habia poquisimos clientes y nos dieron dos suite muy grandes y muy comodas con vistas al puerto: personal muy atento. Coincidimos con el inicio del Ramada con lo que todo estaba muy limitado

El personal de recepción siendo muy atento no esta muy ilustrado con los restaurantes e informo mejor el botones que el personal de mostrador. Necesita un poco de mantenimiento

Cet hotel mérite largement un cinq étoiles. Une décoration magnifique, établissement extrêmement propre, des chambres spacieuses et un personnel au petit soin à l’écoute et toujours disponible. Un gros coup de coeur pour cet hotel.♥️

La chambre n’était pas comme celle que j’avais pris en été .. une différence par rapport aux meubles.

Tjejerna på receptionen var mycket trevliga och kunniga, svarade på alla våra funderingar och vi fick checka in lite innan för rummet var klart och vi kunde lämna bagaget i rummet och promenera till stan. Vi blev uppgraderade till ett stort rum med fin utsikt mot småbåtshamnen och stranden. Även Anass som är portier var alltid vänlig och gav bra service.

Inget var dåligt.

The location and service at this hotel was exceptional, all staff were so pleasant and helpful. The views from all sides of the hotel are also amazing. Evening drinks next to the pool were a delight.

Wir erhielten ein Upgrade und es war das schönste Zimmer, in dem wir je wohnen durften: riesengross, toll dekoriert und mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den Yachthafen und das Altstädtchen. Vielen Dank dafür! Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich mit viel Auswahl und die Speisen generell von sehr guter Qualität und perfekt zubereitet. Das ganze Hotel ist tip top sauber, stylish dekoriert und komfortabel, direkt am Yachthafen gelegen.

Alles super. Wären gerne noch geblieben.

Seems like the cleaning staff is untrained, the floors are not well cleaned at all. Furniture in restaurant old and partially damaged or even broken (we were offered a high chair which was a hazard to children).

A quality hotel with excellent rooms and very professional staff. The hotel is in a perfect location for access to everything in the city. Special note must be made of the 2 reception area staff of Abdelilah and Mustapha who were always helpful and capable.

I really had the best experience ever in Tanger. The hotel was better than expected. My mother and I visited my brother who lives in Tanger. We booked 2 nights. We decided to stay longer for my mothers 75th birthday so we booked 3 extra nights. We got an amazing upgrade. A room with on of the best views I have ever seen. And believe me. I travel a lot. Breakfast was perfect. Not a a whole lot but everything you need and really fresh. We got pampered ant the table. Everything looked really clean. The hotel is also in a great location. You can walk to everywhere. It is located in the luxury part opposite the beach but in 20 minutes walk you are in the amazing Moroccan Medina. You can have good and cheap breakfast and diner outside the hotel. The personnel in front of the hotel helped me with finding a taxi. Which was also super cheap. I would stay her again. Definitely.

The elevator was smal and a bit slow.

Good breakfast! Lots of varieties. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Mustafa. We enjoyed the beach view from our window.

Minor gripe--but there was no place to hang your towel so you can reach it when you get out of the shower. Water everywhere!!!
