We've stayed at the house a few years as go. We loved it then and still love it. Was big enough for all of us.
Only suggestion, bring sunglasses. The family room gets bright when the sun comes up. But seriously, it's a great view.

A beautiful stay with extended family for Thanksgiving. The property provided everything we needed. Hot tub was HOT and great. Kitchen was stocked and had everything needed to make the perfect Thanksgiving dinner.

The cabin was nice, the land was absolutely gorgeous, and the rental managers were fantastic and timely in responses. We did have to drive to the community lakefront, it’s a winding road down. The place was very cozy and exactly the vibe we were looking for for our family cabin getaway. The kitchen supplies were in a disarray and had varying levels of cleanliness. But we mostly brought our own cooking/eating utensils, plates, and cups, which I highly recommend. Also need to bring your own paper products, soaps, and seasonings. So we packed relatively heavy. Definitely do recommend this cabin.

Overall we really enjoyed the property. The location was ideal and we were able to take advantage of the community’s private lake access. My only complaint is that the hot tub was broken upon arrival, and has been for many weeks. This should have been communicated to us prior and even offer a price reduction. That experience prevents me from giving a higher rating.

Lots of activities around. Plus points cause we got community lake access, we enjoyed that. We just wish there are more toiletries and basic needs provided like hand soap, dishwasher soap and such. But overall very good. Oh the only thing was the sun room wasnt clean but the rest of the house was.

We had a nice relaxing stay in this beautiful house. It happened to snow a lot during our stay but the streets were plowed pretty regularly and they were nice enough to plow our driveway for us as well as the walkway. All accommodations were great except the kitchen faucet was not attached to the sink securely. It still worked but was a little irritating to use. Other than that everything was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Sparks to Stars was a perfect location for a relaxing vacation with my adult children and their families, including the furry variety. The home had everything we needed and more. The mountain views and the starry nights were breathtaking. We appreciated having the Paradise Ridge lake access as well. I would highly recommend this home and vacation spot!!!

We had such a wonderful and relaxing weekend at this home. There was enough space and several different locations to spend time with good friends. Would happily come back!

Wonderful family getaway
The house was perfect for our families (10 months - 54 yrs old). Beautiful view, plenty to keep everyone occupied with the hot tub, pool table, and large table for meals and games. We enjoyed staying in and relaxing as well as being in close proximity to swallow falls. Home came well equipped. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t provided!

Perfect Summer Getaway
My family of 10 and our dog stayed here for a week in August. It was our first time visiting Deep Creek Lake and we enjoyed every minute of it! Close lake access, we brought our boat and two jetskis and were able to dock them at the Marina just a few minutes away. The house was beautiful and had plenty of space. We enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness! Would definitely stay here again

It was a first time in such an amazing place now I know where I should go for vacation we all had an wonderful time. The only thing that disappointed me was the shower curtain in the king bedroom. It had holes in them plus it was dirty.

This house was great! Kitchen was well stocked. House was very clean. Decks were so pretty. Large windows in main room were breathtaking. Only complaint is the electronics had issues. (No batteries in remotes, not all DVD players had cables so only one DVD player could be used)

Convenient and comfortable home away from home with plenty of sleeping space and 4 full bathrooms. Beautiful view, convenient location midway between McHenry and Oakland. The following comment is feedback for rental company: There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor one with a bathroom attached the other, with s bathroom down the hall. I thought it was odd that the larger bedroom with the attached bathroom had a queen size bed while the other bedroom had s king sized bed. My second comment is that it was very difficult to control temperature as it was very hot in certain rooms, while very cold in the others.

It was a very pleasant experience overall, nice location, very isolated and quiet. I have two suggestions: 1- for the winter, it would be nice to have some kind of heater in the sun room. 2- the door to the basement is kind of in the way. I'm not sure it has any functionality. other than that, everything was excellent and we'll come again

We have stayed at this property 5 or 6 times, under previous management & another name. I have to say overall, we were a little disappointed with the house this year. The biggest issue was that we had to go out to purchase firewood when it used to be supplied in abundance with the rental, so this was an unexpected expense. The house was clean, but there were dead flies everywhere. A broken screen on the porch was reported twice at the beginning of our stay, but never fixed. The kitchen supplies (serving plates/bowls/utensils, etc) seemed to be lacking a bit compared to years past. Despite these minor inconveniences, we still had a great time and enjoyed our stay in Deep Creek, but I think perhaps we will try another house next year. (Note: the house description says there are 4.5 baths, but there are only 4 bathrooms in this house)
