Very nice little cabin close to the main roads and the main attractions on the golden circle. Nice views over the mountains from the house and terrace. Hot tub is very pleasant. Basic things in the house like coffee, tea, sugar, oil etc.

The house was a little too small, the kitchen table was standing against the sofa. No contact or new towels during 5 night stay. Kitchen tools and appliances where very limited and old.

Hot tub was good, close to Golden Circle attractions, no need to wait for a person to check in.

View obstructed by other cabins; no space for luggage. OK to stay for a day or two, but not longer.

suitcase storage( not a big issue), there is a big tomato farm close by and making lots of light however you can still see northern lights

I loved this cabin. It was clean, warm and comfortable with everything we needed including pods for the Senseo coffee machine. The location was fabulous and the view was beautiful- isolated and natural. It was easy to find and to get the keys. We had poor weather for our week in Iceland but it was lovely to come back to the cabin, warm up in the hot tub and gaze at the view. On our way here we walked up to the Reykjadalur hot springs - this was a highlight of our trip (but make sure that you have the right clothes/boots and are fit enough to hike uphill for 1 hour, then back). We liked the Reykjadalur hike and the Reykjanes peninsula (on our way back to Keflavik) better than the Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon, but we loved it all. Can't wait to come back to Iceland and explore more.

The hot tub wasn't hot enough to use when we first arrived but warmed up to 40 degrees later.

The cabin has a geat location, you can reach famous spots like the Geysir and the Brúarfoss in 15-20 minutes. Having a private hot tub for yourself was amazing, perfect for lazy mornings as well as relaxing evening baths. The surrounding nature is also quite stunning and the windows all around the cabin (like the panoramic window in the bedroom) allow you to enjoy the beautiful view every minute of your day. We both like to take photos and the remote location was also perfect for night pictures, because there was close to no light pollution nearby.

The cabin in itself is perfect, but be aware it is a more or less remote cottage at the golden circle in iceland, so inexperienced iceland-tourists should have in mind: the road leading to the cabin is a gravel road, but we managed to pass it with a small non-4-wheel-drive in summer, hot water (in the hot tub, the shower and from the tap) comes directly from the ground and smells slightly of sulfur, and you can get some groceries at a nearby gas-station but the next supermarket is in Selfoss and more than half an hour away so you might want to plan your grocery-shopping. If you prepare for that, you will have a marvelous stay there.

Nothing you could do about it, but the "view" was pretty disappointing
