Lots of space, good location, very nice hosts, nice coffee machine in the room and plenty of water and juices available every day.

The room I was in didn't have good sound insulation so ended up awaken by traffic noise a bit earlier than I would have liked. Breakfast was more of a choice of snacks which even though diverse enough wasn't really my thing. Good to pack when you're on the move though.

Breakfast was just sweets. We found mattress and pillows hard. Towels old and not a very good smell after using them once.

My stay at La Martino B&B was very pleasant. The space is large and clean and the breakfast was very well arranged, with tea, coffee, cookies and jams. Every day it will get refilled and something new will be added. I loved it! Mariangela was a super host. The day I arrived there was a strike and no trains were running so she collected me in a place nearby by car so I could reach the B&B! Also, she gave some local tips on how to get around and places to visit before living. Loved the Sacro Monte morning walk on Sunday, before leaving!

Only point of attention is the towels, they were clean and got changed half way through my stay, however they seem a bit worn out. The space has a feeling of a 50's apartment and the bathroom reminded me of my grandmother's flat so, the stay is pretty homely (which I liked) but still I would recommend to use new towels sets for the guests. My only advice for the guests would be to take ear plugs for a better night sleep because the room is located at the first floor overlooking the street and it can get noisy with the cars or people passing by.

The host was great. We checked in quite late, and leaving early the next morning at 5.00. We did not expect a breakfast the next morning, but instead of that she prepared a late evening tea with biscuits. Really great. Also the convinience of parking outside was great.

The room was very noisy and we needed to have the windows open because it felt like someone had smoked in the room. I have light astma so closing the windows was no option. We were “lucky” that there was the curfew so not much traffic outside. For the rest, the room was a bit outdated.
