This property was close enough to Boston and other New England destinations without the bustle of the city. In Ipswitch, traffic was easy to navigate and the people were friendly. We were able to get to the T in 45 minutes in the morning, and within a few hours drive to Rhode Island and Connecticut. This is a shared property, meaning there are upstairs and next door neighbors -- occasionally noise was a problem in the early parts of the night (9-11PM) This property was exactly how it was billed, it fits 6 sleepers -- but it's tight. Just know that there's room but you aren't staying here because you want to spend your time in the home. You'll want to sleep and eat breakfast here before heading out and seeing New England.

Clean and quiet. Enjoyed nice walks by the river close by, great place to rest after a day at the beach or hiking.

Turned out to be a pretty great location! The river and a bridge with a view is literally across the street. There’s not a living room, but there’s a big backyard that was very nice for family time. It’s also a short drive to the beach, restaurants, and a great location. There was a very nice surprise waiting for us when we arrived too!

Property was as described. Bottle of wine upon arrival was a nice touch. Lots of supplies were much appreciated. Just wish that there was a living area with a tv, rather than being in the kitchen. Other than that, we were pleased. Thank you for everything

Property has pictures that do not give full info. There are imposing steps to be climbed and my wife is not fully ambulatory. You need full disclosure of the steps up from the road. And no, I couldn't make it up the drive with my truck because drive is too narrow. So park on the street and walk up. There is a hand rail. However, at first set of steps there was a hole in the asphalt, unfixed that my wife almost fell in. The first step on second set of wood stairs was loose, another trip hazard. Once inside, we found it very clean and well provisioned. Care has been taken to make sure one feels welcome. Then, we found the bathroom sinks had no hot water. The kitchen TV doesn't work as well as the bedroom one does and is restricted as to a lot of dumb channels. Toughest part was access. Anyone with mobility issues should NOT rent here. Pet area just fine, but back yard is not fenced. The added fees, totaling 130 dollars, for just two nights, especially the mystery "service fee" were onerous, making this reasonable rental, expensive. I am sorry I rented here but we made it. Neighbors watched us struggle and offered to help carry our belongings which was very nice.

Sweet little place at a fair price. It could have deserved 5/5 rating, however it have a few cons such as no reserved parking (need to park in the street), no living/family room to chill out, relax and watch TV and finally while the appartement where very clean overall, there's two old couch/chair in the hallway than smell very bad and needs to be deeply cleaned.

We had a nice stay. Apartment is well set up and close to the river and the downtown area. The host was very attentive and responsive.

We booked our property in September and were given a second address. I just assumed that property manager had numerous properties and had just listed the original one. We got checked in around 6:00pm and everything went smoothly. Thankfully we brought our dogs with us because around 1:00am someone walked into our property. My husband at first went downstairs and didn't see anyone. When we got up the next morning the property manager came over and asked if I had came on my correct days. I showed him my VRBO app with the dates and the message that he had sent me. He told me that another family had shown up around 1:00 in the morning and he had let them in even though there was a car and trailer parked in the driveway. He told us that he had given us the wrong address and that we were going to have to go to another property. We arrived at the original property that I had booked and the following day when we started using some of the outlets they quit working (bathroom). The lights in the bathroom also stopped working. So, thinking maybe that we tripped a breaker or something we called the property manager. Come to find out that there was electrical issues and that an electrician would have to come out. We continued on with our vacation and was later told that they couldn't have the electrical issues fixed until Friday, this was Wednesday. Later that night around 11:00pm our dogs started barking like crazy again. I could hear voices, but just assumed that they were next door or outside somewhere. Then the door knob started wiggling. I told my husband what was going on so he went outside to find another family that he had booked for our property. I called the property manager and told him what was going on. I also told him that I would be filing a complaint because there were continuous problems ever since we arrived. On Friday we had to stay and wait for the electrician to come to the house. There was only one bathroom so as you can imagine no one could get ready for the day or use the restroom while he was there. This whole ordeal was extremely negligent and the property owner does not know how to be organized with his book ins. We lost part of our vacation due to moving a second time and the electrician. There is also the part of peace of mind being lost due to his negligance with booking and wondering if someone else was going to walk in on us.

My friends and I stayed over at this amazing location after a spa day in Ipswich. The place was very clean and welcoming. The host was extremely communicative as well!

This cute apartment is part of a quadrupled. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a little sitting area, and a eat in kitchen. It was perfect for our family of four. There were plenty of amenities and it was clean. Not much of a view outside or natural lighting but it rained the entire time we were there so that was fine. There is parking in front of the house.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at this cozy apartment. It is close to the Ipswich river. Great little town to start our journey through New England. The washer and dryer are handy and we definitely would stay again.

Property itself was great. Host was always reachable and helpful. Our problem was the property description did not mention that there are 13 steps plus 6 to the apartment. It is not accessible for seniors or anyone with handicap. The host allowed us to park in back but still inconvenient because it is a shared drive way. He was very accommodating.

What a lovely place. Clean, well stocked and comfortable. Host was a very good communicator and the place had everything we needed. This town is adorable. Really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and clean home!

I stayed here with a friend for a night and it exceeded our expectations. Impeccably clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds. New appliances. Great little yard with a picnic table and outdoor lights. Right along the Ipswitch River where we could walk along a great path to look at the houses and gardens. Also a short walk to downtown, and only about a 15 minutes drive to the amazing Crane Beach. Property manager was responsive and helpful before we arrived. Would highly recommend this hidden gem of a place!

Very Easy check in. Loved location, very quiet, how was very clean.

We were so pleased with the home that was opened up to us for several nights! We cooked each night and had all of the kitchen tools that were needed. They also supplied great spices, toiletries, AC, a great play area in the backyard and a convenient hose to rinse off feet after the beach! We had an excellent time in Ipswich and were able toget a great night of rest each evening thanks to these hosts!

Comfortable, quiet, lots of conveniences Walk across the road to bridge over Ipswich River, then 10 more minutes to quaint New England downtown. If you're planning to go to Crane Beach, get your parking pass early. Northern MA beaches are not accommodating to non-residents.

I usually feel uncomfortable walking about in bare feet when I am staying away from home. Not this place. EVERY surface was meticulously clean as were linens and towels. Thank you for obviously making this your priority for renters.

The property looked just like the photos. It was clean and well-stocked. Our kids loved the play area. Property management was super friendly and responded fast, even on a holiday. Would recommend!

Nice neighborhood , close to everything , beautiful scenery in front of home

This was a wonderful place to stay! It was in a great location, 5-10 minutes from the quaint downtown of Ipswich, and had a lot of places to just walk around, for both people and dogs. The place was very clean, wine was available, lots of amenities, and many items in the kitchen for our use. There's a new washer/dryer/refrigerator, the kitchen was very nice. No issues at all.
