The condo was very well stocked with all the right cleaning supplies and appliances needed for cooking; in addition to pots/pans/silverware/dishes. I wish we would have had small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash available. The check in process was a bit odd and came with some annoyances calling back and forth multiple times for “the next step”. Overall though, it was a beautiful, spacious home with a great location and view.

Great location!! Fabulous view! Loved that we could easily walk pretty much anywhere we needed to go. Very relaxing trip.

Marty (owner) was helpful and communicative. Space was very clean and the facility has great amenities with gym and indoor/outdoor pools. Would stay again.

This condo was great. Super spacious and a fantastic location. Would recommend over and over. The only thing was we had to wait for Marty to call us back to get into the condo but after that, it was a fantastic stay.

My husband passed away last year, and I wanted to have a nice weekend getaway for Father’s Day. My six-year-old and four-year-old had the best time here. We were walking distance from the beach and everything downtown. The views from the balcony were beautiful, and this condo had everything we needed. Thank you for a beautiful new memory for me and my kids.

Excellent property-as advertised.

We loved this condo! So convenient to walk lots of places--even in the off-season. We enjoyed the spacious layout and comfy couch for sitting and chatting late into the night. Our weather didn't cooperate but we still had a great time! Marty accommodated us by texting check in instructions since we were late in our arrival. Admittedly, there were several steps but his directions were spot on and we got in with little issue. A note if you'd think it'd be bothersome for your party: this condo is right next to the train tracks. We only heard train whistles for a train about 9:15 am so it was not an issue for us but not sure if trains run more often in the summer? Thanks for a great stay!

We had a nice time with family at Marty's condo. It's in a great location and is great for family to share. Lots of great common open space to share. The fireplace was great for the cool October evenings.

Very nice unit. Very walkable or within a short drive to popular locations. proximity from garage to elevator to unit was perfect. my mom has some mobility issues & it was just a few steps in & out. master bedroom had walk-in shower so very convenient for her to not have to step over a tub. the unit was very clean & equipped with essentials. We will definitely stay here again!

The condo is clean and well-equipped. The location is fantastic for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. The beds were comfortable and the showers had excellent pressure and hot water. Pretty much ticked all the boxes for us. Marty communicated well and was patient and kind with our pre-arrival questions.

Location was perfect. Walked to grocery, steps from Amtrak and the Beach. Cleaning lady was very nice. Checkin process needs improvement . Had to wait 40 minutes for owner to call us back to walk us through checkin process. If I had written instructions, could have done it without the wait.

Everyone enjoyed sitting out on the balcony, lovely view. Condo was as described, very complete. The only items you might need are bar soap and beach chairs. Great wagon to move in and out.

We had a GREAT time at Exit 1! Marty was a great communicator, and made check in smooth and easy. He was sure to let me know he was available if we needed anything. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s so spacious and beautiful, yet cozy. The location can’t be beat. It’s literally footsteps to the best restaurants and stops in town. A grocery store a nice 5 minute walk from the doorstep. The beach is beautiful and we walked there in 10 minutes or less. We can’t wait to return!

This location was perfect for beach and downtown new Buffalo. The condo itself is large and was very clean, updated nicely and more than enough space for our family four. The building also has an outdoor and indoor pool which were also in great shape. We hope to come back for another stay in the future, highly recommend!

The condo was in a great location. It was walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The indoor and outdoor pool were great. The workout room was wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay and would return again.

My son and I booked this condo for a four day trip on 20 hours notice. The owner, Marty went out of his way to get the condo turned around to accommodate our request. The place is exactly as pictured and described. It is huge, beautifully decorated, and stocked with absolutely everything one could ask for. The view from the balcony is amazing and provided a great outdoor space for wine, food, and scrabble. The condo is in easy walking distance to several wonderful restaurants, a high end grocery store, downtown shops, and the beach. Marty’s condo complex includes a beautiful heated outdoor pool just steps from the unit as well as a great indoor pool and gym. Stray Dog is literally a two minute walk next door. This will be our go to rental in New Buffalo! Marty, thanks for a great getaway!

This condo is located in the perfect place to hit the beach, hit the restaurants (Stray Dog, Terrace Room, Casey's, Brewsters), and go for walks to see sunset/sunrise. Condo has all the amenities that you need. Will go back!

The property manager, Marty Sherlock, was very unpleasant to deal with. He gave us no instruction ahead of time on how we would get into the property. Then as we were on the road home, we get a phone call with him yelling at me: "Ken, you and I have a big problem; where are you now?!" Look, we made an honest mistake. We have always gotten 5-star VRBO ratings as renters. We misread his instructions and did not put one of the keys in the lockbox. Well, where's his back-up plan? Does he have someone he can call there with another copy? Does he have a quality control plan to call the renter the night before and remind them about the lockbox if it's that big a deal to him? To be so rudely yelled at after spending a considerable sum of money for a 10-night stay? Obviously inexcusable. This property manager is ruining your brand name, VRBO, and you ought to fire him. You should remove this property from your listings when you've got an owner with such horrifying customer relationship skills.
