What a nice place, with all that is needed for a nice vacation.

We loved staying at the Strand. The location is walking distance to Willemstad and Mambo beach and many great restaurants. The beach is gorgeous and there are many fishes to see if you snorkel by the rocks. Highly recommend staying at this place. 5 stars rating . Stayed there 18 days. I Curaçao

Location of this condo is great; close to restaurants, you have your own beautiful little beach and pool, but the condo itself could really use some TLC. There was a leak from the ceiling in the front hallway which had clearly been there for some time, as you could tell the ceiling drywall had already been replaced in that area. The front door is in need of weatherstripping which would help the efficiency of the AC system. A thermostat with a working ‘auto’ function would help as well. Yes, you have to pay for your electricity use, which we were aware of ahead of time. We were told during the day to keep the doors and windows open but with a toddler that wasn’t safe. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking/plates/cups etc. One of the stove elements would always go off while we were cooking, which meant we were using the smallest element each time we cooked. There is a working dishwasher but the wheels on the bottom rack are broken. Ant traps would be an easy fix to take care of the ants around the kitchen. The furniture is basic, the couch is basic but small, the beds are quite firm and there is no indoor dining table. Something small to eat at would have been nice to have. The bathrooms were clean but anyone under 5ft7in would not be able to see the mirror as they are hung very high. Besides the closet, there is nowhere to hang towels or clothes - some hooks would really help. There are no outlets in the bathrooms to use your hairdryer or other Items that require power. When we arrived, our floors were very dirty throughout the condo leaving our feet very dirty just from walking around inside. Our condo manager was very responsive and quickly had the dirty floors cleaned the next day. The rental company was very friendly and helpful. They were able to provide us with a travel crib and high chair for our stay, which was appreciated. We have stayed at many vacation rentals throughout Central America and the Caribbean and at this price point, we would have expected better quality as a whole. I would not consider this a “luxury” apartment. We loved the location but unfortunately would not rent this specific unit again unless we saw changes like we listed above. Reading other reviews for apartments in this same complex, it sounds like there is much more pride in personally-owned rentals rather than one run by a vacation rental company.

We rented the corner ground floor unit for a month, very pleasant to walk out to the pool and Sea. We went out for dinners most nights. We were within walking distance of many eclectic restaurants. We rented a car for our stay. Very convenient to drive to grocery stores, snorkeling beaches, explore the island and drive into Willemstad. Our unit was a little tired. No cushions for the big chairs on the patio. The furniture and interior needs refreshing. Smoke detectors should be installed. Beds were changed once a week and unit cleaned. I washed the towels. Overall we had a wonderful stay and the management group Noom took care of us. Thank you.

This condo complex is very quiet & uncrowded. We stayed for 2 weeks, there were always lots of chairs available at the pool & beach. The condo opens directly to the pool, which was great for watching the kids. The condo itself was clean & had everything we needed. You can tell the condo is owned by a property mngt company vs. a family. Some of the little personal touches are missing. For example there are no board games or sand toys, only spice in the cabinet was salt, no cooking oil. Not a big deal to us, we bought what we needed & left it for the next family. We cooked at the condo daily & were able to get by with the pans & utensils that were available. We washed all our dishes by hand but there is a dishwasher & enough dishes that you could fill the dishwasher & still have plenty of plates/glasses/silverware to use while it's running. There is also a Washing Machine & Dryer in the unit. We hung our clothes to dry but it was nice to have it as an option. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. We tried Kome (twice for Wednesday Tapas menu & regular menu), and Serafina-Both were excellent. We would stay here again & very much enjoyed our stay.

The view was spectacular, very peaceful and quiet.

I lived in Curacao for 16 years back in the 70's and 80's and I was at first hesitant about the location of this property. I was pleasantly surprised to see the neighborhood had turned safe. The property was awesome and the managers were very attentive and available. Be aware that the electricity charges can add up quickly to about $25 per day even if you keep the air off during the day as the property has central air which is rare on the island. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The apartment is large with all amenities, including dishwasher, which is always a bonus. The pool and beach are pleasant and it was very quiet (if we exclude the barking dogs who are a problem everywhere on the island). Noom was very helpful and reacted promptly when we needed them. Several excellent restaurants nearby . We walked to Punda several times (20 minutes) . Recommended improvement: provide detailed instructions on how to operate appliances.
