Great boutique hotel! Beautifully appointed. The atrium bar was fun and the cocktails were interesting. Staff were very accommodating. Location cannot be beat.
The room was small, but I expected that in a boutique hotel.

The location
The rooms were crowded noisy and the bathroom needed curtains

I was very happy with the waitstaff at the restaurant and their kindness, and the service was overall good, we got a second complimentary drink which I truly appreciated. the boutique hotel has a cute vibe and it's far away from the loudness of LA.
The 50-dollar valet parking charge PER night, it's almost better to just get parking tickets! there is a 100-dollar hold that won't return to my bank account until 3-5 days so if you're on a budget, this is something else to consider. small rooms, music from the bar going on until 10 pm or so (in case you need to sleep in early this will be difficult) expensive restaurant, and water bottles (13+ for water!) on site.

Location was fantastic
The light switches were difficult to use

Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping
You have to pay for parking per night and the hotel has attached parking that’s not being used

Clean rooms, great location, and extremely kind and helpful staff! Great restaurant downstairs with delicious burgers and cocktails as well

I love a clean hotel with friendly staff and this hotel did not disappoint! Centrally located in a nice neighborhood and accessible to everything Culver City has to offer! Beautifully appointed room with a well stocked mini bar, fabulous restaurant as well!
Our lock slipped on our courtyard entry and one of our lights was wonky, but easily rectified and did not impact our stay.

Great place to stay in Culver City! The staff were really attentive and helpful, the bar/restaurant were great and our room was small, but comfortable. The space is cute and trendy, but with care put into the details (lovely amenities, nice bedding, etc).
Adding a note that the staff were great in accommodating my request to move rooms (see note below).
The first room they put us in was basically in the restaurant. It was crazy loud and the windows opened into the bar. Thankfully, after speaking with the staff, they moved us to another room far removed from the bar area and that was lovely. But be advised that some of the rooms on the first floor are quite noisy and the only window in the space opens to a public restaurant.
Valet parking is also crazy expensive ($48/day), and while I don't know that this is specifically the hotel's fault, something to note if you have a car.

The beautiful rooms and restaurant! Staff was super friendly!

It appeared to have a unique quality based upon pictures on site.
The parking situation was terrible. Valet is only available between 0600 and 2230. If you come after it’s closed they are unable to direct you to options. They suggested I park on the surrounding neighborhood streets which were by permit only and risk being towed. As well, their sign for valet says $15 in large letter, and in small lightened font states a different price after 3 hours.
The bathroom was very tight and oddly configured. Definitely felt claustrophobic.
There were no plugs located next to the bed to plug in charging devices or medical equipment (cpap).

Boutique hotel. Quiet spot with a very relaxed vibe. Nice restaurants and bars including at the hotel itself. 15 minutes walk to the metro. Courtyard access with some rooms which is nice in the morning if sunny. Reception is there 24/7
Rooms are small but understandable given boutique nature of hotel. Vacuuming of the corridors started by 9am but was after 3pm by the time my room would be serviced. It seems one lady has to service every room so a lot of work for her to do. One day room was not serviced.

The HVAC system was terrible. No cooling in the room.

First off, upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by Faith. She was smiling, friendly, and engaged me into a nice conversation about my travels and about the hotel and its restaurant. She was outstanding! The hotel is located just across the way (a few minutes walk) to the City Steps and Culver City Studios. It was great to be able to have a French Bakery, Philz Coffee, and Mendocino Farms all within a less than 5 minute walk. There were LOTS of other choices as well in the area, including the restaurant and bar in the hotel. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed. We are so happy to have found this special place!
It would have been nice to have a few of the snacks be complimentary. We didn’t use anything but coffee (which was indeed complimentary), but that snack basket looked awfully good!

The location was the best part of my stay, mostly because I was in town for work that was within walking distance of the hotel. Also the shower was great. The front desk staff were lovely.
For how expensive the hotel is and from the way it brands itself as upscale, I was disappointed. I was fortunate enough to be placed in a room far away from the restaurant; my coworker who was also staying at the same hotel and in town for work too was not so lucky - she was in a room above the restaurant, where it was noisy until it closed at 11pm, also she found cockroaches in her room. I didn't have any noise from the restaurant (or any bugs in my rooms), but almost every day I was woken up between 7am-8am because hotel staff were taking their breaks and talking loudly directly outside my room. Housekeeping would come intermittently, they didn't replace dirty cups (instead they washed them out in the sink and then put them back, since I could see coffee on one of my "clean" cups). I was unfairly charged for the minibar because I found a half empty can in my mini-fridge that the previous guest must have drank and housekeeping missed during their cleaning, then alerted staff (I have since disputed the charge with my credit card company).
I'm not a picky person at all when it comes to staying at hotels. I don't even normally write reviews unless something was really great or really not. But I just think for how pricey the hotel is, and how "upscale" it is, their service would be amazing. I stayed there because it was within walking distance to my work, but next time I'm in town for work I'll be staying somewhere else.

The vibe, has a busy bar and restaurant which lends a hip buzz to the place the design is an ecclectic mid century style, the location is perfecct so much to do and see close by,the service was awesome.
There was a weird lingering smell in the common area and room, maybe sewage /Sulphur gas.. the walls are thin I could hear my upstairs neighbour all night..windows could not open to get some fresh air

The bar and restaurant downstairs was a great time. Good food and great drinks. Very close to downtown with lots of food and bar options.
There is no parking, not even for ADA. Valet is the only option at $48 a night. The rooms are tiny, old-fashioned style, and not comfortable for the disabled. It is extremely hard to move around in, even without a wheelchair in the room. Stubbed toes multiple times on bed. If you are used to the Marriotts and Hiltons of the world, this is not the place for you.

The location is perfect if you're traveling to Culver City. I loved the bar and restaurant area - part of the restaurant is outdoors with trees, which makes for a relaxing meal. Breakfast: I never thought oatmeal could be so good! Coffee is excellent. The service is spectacular. These people work so hard. Sarah and Becky were standouts. I cannot say enough about how great the staff is - everyone from the restaurant/bar staff, front desk, kitchen, room cleaners. I felt welcomed and cared about during my stay. I hope to be back someday!
Note these are minor issues: occasional smells - maybe from the carpet? Also, noise from the school (garden view room). If you're trying to work from the room, both can be a bit disturbing, but definitely not deal killers

small chic hotel. clean and comfortable
it was advertised that there will be free parking available but that is not true. there hotel doesn’t have onsite parking. They charge you $65 for valet overnight parking. Hotel needs to update their information about parking

Nice boutique hotel very well located.
The room had everything we needed.
The bed was very comfortable.
The deluxe king room is small for 400usd a night. We were in room 111 just next to the restrooms so if you have a light sleep, you will hear the restrooms music the whole night long.
There is no street parking and the front door lady didn’t help us to find one in the neighborhood to avoid 45usd from the one of the hotel.

Location. location. location. if you want to be in Culver and can’t swing THE Culver, this is the place. staff are uniformly great. we felt valued. The hotel has character.
Bad weather is a severe Achilles heel. The rooms are small. there is virtually no common space to escape to, and much of what they do have is exposed to the weather. No ice maker. no fridge (well the usual ridiculous minibar). Some of the room design is awful. A big glass window between the toilet and the bedroom. it’s semi-opaque, but c’mon. The lights — if you’re old, forget it. Turning off the lights is like an escape room puzzle. You can hear everything. Humidity is an issue. The thermostat is almost as bad as the lights. I would still stay there again. Culver is really great.

Tasteful and comfortable. Good location for us. Enjoyed the breakfast very much although not included. That restaurant is very good.
Not totally easy if you come by car. Valet parking is a extra $48 and the immediate neighborhood will make sure your car gets towed if they see your car.
