Mayumi is well located - in less than 3 minutes you can walk to a bus station where you can start exploring the city of LA.
Venice Beach is quite close to the hotel and it’s a ‘must-see place’ to visit.
Breakfast is above average with fresh pastries.
The room was cleaned and comfy.

Good healthy breakfast, good location, clean
Quality of the water is such that soap is almost impossible to be washed off, seems to be a small thing but feels really unpleasant every time try washing hands, take a shower, etc

Perfect room, but a little small. But that is only compared to the other hotels during our trip. High level of automation for the light, the climate, the shades and a good bed and shower. Street parking, but with a large mall at the other side of the road, plenty of space. Nice breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.
Only sweets at breakfast. And I don't really react well to jelly etc. Could have used some peanut butter. But if that is the only thing to complain about, the stay must have been perfect. :-)

it was very clean when we arrived. Loved everything was on touch screen.
when they cleaned our room.(only once) floor had dirt on it. It must have never been swept. Hand towels would be nice. orange juice in the AM would also be a plus.

The staff were nice and location was very convenient, especially if you have a car. There was ample street parking available and the area was nice and quiet. The hotel itself was quaint and had a wonderful courtyard, very thoughtfully designed!
The breakfast could really be a lot better. The coffee was weak and the pastries were cheap.

it was just all very comfy. the breakfast in the morning is one of the best because the pastries are fresh. it was easy to find parking. the staff was very nice
i personally couldn’t complain about anything. the hotel is on a busy little street and you may get a room facing the alley, and even then I wouldn’t say it was so noisy or unsafe at all

No parking on property, but still did not have trouble finding outside street parking.

very convenient brand new hotel with free street parking and nice inner court. location is convenient and safe, close to the airport and beach, you will need a car to get around

Loved the aesthetics of the hotel as it was very modern. Loved how clean room was and cozy outdoor lounge area.

Everything was wonderful! This was my second stay at Mayumi & it was an 8 night one. The staff is lovely and I have to commend the housekeeping staff especially. What an exceptional job they do at making the room sparkle! Thank u, thank you!
My only comment would be - design a magnet to request clean towels - some days I just needed clean towels, not my entire room cleaned.

Mayumi is very clean and comfortable. There’s free street parking which I had no issue finding at night. Very safe low traffic area with a nice shopping center across the street. The hotel offered complementary sake daily and the courtyard is enjoyable 24/7. No problem with receiving additional toiletries. I will definitely stay again in the future.
The room was a little small but if you utilize the closet space and keep it clean you’ll be fine.
