Excellent location. Right on the edge of Bath so could walk straight out into the countryside. Would recommend walking to the farm shop in Newton St Loe for breakfast/brunch. Comfy lounge. Yummy arrival gifts. Double bed very comfy. Well equipped kitchen. Matt is a fantastic host - very friendly and helpful. Apple pressing was in progress during our stay and the guys doing it were really friendly and all too happy to tell us about the process and equipment. Good bus links to get into town. Helpful local information provided.

Bedrooms and bathroom were a bit small and with low headroom (couldn't shut the door in the double without banging the bed and being tall I couldn't stand up straight in the shower). Floors are rather creaky upstairs so can be tricky if your kids are light sleepers.

The cottage was lovely and cosy. The hosts provided everything we needed for our stay and even had a few nice touches such as toys for our little one! Would love to stay again!

Beautiful views from property lovely walks from cottage. Convenient location to visit family. We had everything we needed for a family of 4. Excellent Wii for my husband to work. Friendly helpful hosts.

This is a lovely well fitted out 2 bedroom cottage that will suit most people. Wonderful scenery. Stairs are a little narrow if you are carrying your luggage up but were presumably made that way to maximize upstairs bathroom space. A creaky upstairs floor if you happen to be there with friends! Excellent "food basket" on arrival. The property is about 300 metres off a quite busy road but is super quiet - a couple of times we found it a relatively long wait to re-join the traffic flow. Turning left at the driveway entrance takes you to the Globe Inn about 4 kms away. We enjoyed using this 3 times for dinner - once in the restaurant (with booking) and twice just getting a table in the large bar area which was more convenient. Turning right from the entrance takes you to a large Sainsburys store for other food/drink requirements about 1.5kms away. As long term travelers we enjoyed having a washing machine, much easier than tracking down a launderette (although we did notice one coming back from Sainsburys).

The traffic in Bath. Not a fault of this cottage though! The number of buses clogging the streets was an eye-opener. After one foray in the car we found it far more convenient to take the bus at the (rather strangely named) "Odd Down Park and Ride" into town rather than facing the hassle of driving and paying for city parking.
